Hopefully if they can. Remember how they deny stuff and say there are no funds.

[size=18pt]Huawei is hoodwinking the Nigerian government and ignorant Nigerian youths, because there are already thousands of Nigerian graduates trained in ICT, but have no jobs. What Nigerian government should do is tell Huawei and other Chinese electronics companies to open assembly plants for the assembling of their mobile phones, tablets and other electronic devices and employ thousands of jobless ICT graduates for the assembly plants in Nigeria. God bless your life.

In my opinion this exercise is a big insult. We have thousands of well-versed IT guys without jobs.

[size=28pt]Godwin Emefiele (Current CBN Governor) is not from delta state... you people should go and ask people where they are from... He is from the east. You sit in your newspaper house and create information.

by even looking at people names.. you can tell where people are from. journalist should travel to ask people information before, writtten in the newspaper because that information is important and can mislead the listeners.

John Pepper Clark-Bekederemo is from bayelsa state.

Jay jay okocha is from the east, what happen is that in the sport festival I think he played for delta state. from then on newspaper never verify. Because they can represent any state they want at the sport festival. So because he was represented delta state. the newspapers never verify the information.

Sport men represent different state in nigeria. It is like rashidi yekini too. He is from kwara state but represented Oyo state.
The newspapers are lazy.. they dont verify before publishing

Maybe you need to first understand the Distributable Pool Account (DPA) worked out at the London Constitutional Conference of 1957 & the Raisman-Tress Commision. The sources of Federal Revenue, etc.

You also need to first properly understand why the 1962 census cancelled by Balewa govt angered AG/Awo & Eastern Region, when the 1963 census (re-instating inflated Northern population) was adopted by NPC. And the constitutional crisis that ensued.

If the Fed didn't have massive revenues/developmental projects to distribute based on population figures (aside parliamentary seats), why the so much ado about it, if revenues really mostly stayed in the regions? It is all a myth.

Midwest Region with a healthy revenue from Rubber, Cocoa & Timber had to grudgingly/diplomatically accept 1963 population figures, despite strongly protesting it initially. Why? Officially to maintain peace/national unity. Actually reason was serious threat from Fed govt to punish just over a year old new Region by withdrawing funds, projects; essentially cause crisis there.

Centralisation stealthily began long ago & fed has been powerful economically/financially "it has tey". It was only formalised by Ironsi.

I greet you. Seems you are well versed in this area!

Your post here is mere speculation. No fact.

The gains by naira in the last few days was an instant reaction to the categorical statement made by Buhari that naira will not be devalued. Speculators has no choice than to start offloading the dollars.

How do you mean? Buhari has been quite consistent with talks of not devaluing the currency, yet no remarkable appreciation.

Truth is, Uba contributed to the rise. Didn't you see how MTN share prices fell last year just because of the news that Nigerian Government is imposing a fine on them?

Speculations also contributed, admit it!

Hello!, ladies & gentlemen, we are back @ it again with the 2nd edition of the Nairaland audio rap cypher, 2016.
The unholy triumvirate of Darkrebel, Limerick and Jreyez decided to vent a little bit on the mic and entertain y'all with some sumptuous & classical lyricism.
Each brought a different flavour, thereby making it one of the most theatrical & multifaceted rap cypher ever. More like the iconic BET cypher that featured Yasin Bey, Black thoughts & Eminem cheesy

Here's my assessment...

•Limerick was ballistic & spazzed like H.E with two hockey sticks after it. The skilled Edo emcee didn't tongue-twist this time around though grin

•Jreyez body-bagged & toe-tagged the beat - is he trying to be the Rakim Allah of Nigeria? cheesy

•And Darkrebel as usual was all about the Tasmanian devil persona. Legend has it that he freestyled 80% of his bàrs on the spot! cheesy

Enough of the rigmarole. Let's get down to biz.
Even though we did this strictly for fun & for the love of the art, we'd like to see your reviews, feedbacks & constructive criticisms so we can do better next time.

http://www.datafilehost.com/d/404ac7ff

That's the download link once again, and the rap lyrics are below if you wanna read while listening.
Lest I forget, the instrumental was made by our very own Mr. Jreyez(KeySounds Music grin

Enjoy....... cheesy

Nice work. Sounds like those classic hiphop of the Golden era.
Did the producer sample DJ Premier?

T8ksy:

Considering the fact that the 4th Area Command in the Mid-west under Lt. Col Ejoor was ethnically lopsided, it will be wrong to accuse him of cowardice. He had requested for the federal govt to provide his region with weapons to defend itself instead of doing so secretly like the North and the East were doing at the time.

He had prior to this time, prevented a private group led by Mr. Yon DaKolo and Lt. Col. Mike Okwechime from importing weapons to Benin. Thereafter, a minuscule amount of weapons was sent to Benin to beef up the 20 odd Mark 4 rifles held by the 300 soldiers. Three keys were subsequently made to the armoury which were held by 2 mid-west ibo officers (Lt. Cols. Conrad Nwawo and Sylvanus Nwajei) and a third by Maj. Sam Ogbemudia(Bini-Edo).

In fact, Ejoor was not in support of Ojukwu’s secession agenda and he reiterated this at a public commitment on June 18 in asaba, that the Midwest would not be turned into a battlefield between the East and the North. He also got the assurance of Ojukwu that he would honour this agreement but on August 9, 1967, Ojukwu invaded the region with a motorized rifle brigade consisting of 3000 Biafran soldiers and militiamen, under the command of Lt. Col. ["Brigadier"] Victor Banjo.

In fact, without the knowledge of Banjo, Ojukwu had tasked a Midwest Ibo officer Lt. Col. Ochei to attack the Government house in Benin and capture the Governor dead or alive.

Ejoor was only saved by Major Ogbemudia who a day prior to the biafran invasion had had the grace of mind to change the guard detail on duty and they been not privy to the assault resisted hence providing Ejoor the time to effect his escape.

Nice one. You sound like a war historian

Cool Picture.

But as a Niger Deltan, let me talk about the person in the Picture that concerns me.

David Ejoor.

Just like Goodluck Jonathan, David Ejoor had the opportunity to raise the profile of the old Mid West(Niger Delta Now) to he highest level in Nigeria, but what did he do?at the sound of Gun shoot, he paddled a Bicycle through many cities and towns to run away, leaving his Soldiers behind,

In my definition that is Cowardice.

And just like Goodluck Jonathan, he disgraced us.

And that is why, even if he is alive, not as celebrated as Benjamin Adekunle(Black Scorpion), Isaac Adaka Boro, Olusegun Obasanjo and all other War Heros.

You are right except that Mid-West isn't the same as Niger-Delta

Present day Rivers and Bayelsa were under eastern region.

Mid-West=BENin-DELta= Bendel=Edo,Delta

this isn't the right place to make this post tho but bear with me.
I want to start a career in ICT and don't know what one to start with. I was looking at the Cisco packages but I know nothing about those and luckily I saw y'all talking about it.
does a ccna, ccnp, ccie certificate makes you employable? I would like a brotherly friendly advice and help as concerns it. I appreciate your taking time to put me through. please let's talk.

@stynhaq
@spoilerx
@DanIndia

I would say you do CCNA first as it would give you a head start in the field. Then delve into operating systems and how they work in a networked environment. Either with Microsoft or Linux. Though Linux is my favorite.

Then you can do your CCNP and afterwards, any other certification or courses relative to these.

If you don't have any idea of computing whatsoever, do CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ for foundational knowledge. If you have a degree in Engineering, you could skip those.
