First you have to understand that this isn't just any other job. This is an ExxonMobil opportunity, a company ranked #2 in the Fortune 500 and #9 in the Fortune Global 500. A lot of people who know what the opportunity means will apply for it depending on whatever job or opportunity they currently have. Mind you the compensation is on par with their peers in other ExxonMobil companies around the world

Compensation is not on par. You people assume too much.

Pls who knows wether graduate interns are converted to contract staffs after their 1 year internship elapses in ExxonMobil?

Depends on your department, course of study and company needs. Of course, God factor being the topmost.

Some folks are converted before the 1 year elapses.

I don't believe there will be another interview.

The white men are part of the recruitment team and whatever info they give is true. 2 to 4 weeks may be the time for completion of the recruitment. It is obvious Mobil don’t want to waste time. Don’t Honk you have any concrete info. This is a recruitment handled by top level staff and privacy and confidentiality is key. Do you think the white nan didn’t know they will be contacted before 2 weeks. Make una chill small make over Sani no kill una.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How To Deal With Resume Immediately Vs 1 Month Notice by stynhaq(m): 8:34am On Oct 04, 2017
marjo:
No serious organisation will truly expect you to start immediately. at certain levels of job authority /responsibility it would be expected that you need to clear your desk and tidy loose ends. next time ask when they want you to resume and if you can't, explain why. I personally am not impressed by the "I can resume immediately " response. I believe in leaving on a clean slate even if I don't work my full notice I will try to clear as much as I can and leave a comprehensive handover document. ironically the same organisation will now want to call your previous organisation for reference checks!

That's excellent response. My CIO told me that if he tells you to resume immediately when you have a current role and you consent, then you would make a bad manager.

You need make them know you want to properly hand over, except if you're disgruntled.

@Op
First identify your area of choice.
Power
Electronics
Telecommunications
instrumentation
etc.
from there you will be able to narrow down your choice and specialize. Elect/Elect Engr is a very broad course.

my 1 cent

Best Answer. This is more than 1cent

First thing is to identify your interest. Because when it gets tough only the passion will keep you going.

Programming / Re: Python E-books by stynhaq(m): 6:58pm On Mar 11, 2017
The best book you can use is Starting out with Python (3rd Ed) by Tony Gaddis. Follows good pedagogical methods.

Then Learn Python the hard way as suggested above.

Then docs.python.org is very good if you want to know more about specifics (inbuilt functions for example). Details like the sep and end arguments for the print() function etc.

Finally try out something like Django, jinja2 or kivy.

I think it was African Cup of Nations in Mali

Information communication technology is taking over, making our lives and jobs easier. As new innovations are springing up, job experts in that fields are created to fit into the portfolios. There are some job portfolio you hear, 10 years back whoever would tell you such portfolios would come to place, no one would have believed. But we are seeing it and we have to accept it because they are relevant.

Here are Three (3) hot and new job portfolios in Nigeria at the moment. I call them new not because they necessarily in operations in the last one year, but because it became relevant in the last 2 to 3 years in Nigeria. And it was paramount for companies to have them.

Digital marketer: Every company, brand or organization needs a digital marketer. No company can boost of a huge profit margin without the aid of a digital marketing.

Digital marketing is promoting and marketing of products and services through the internet/online platforms like social media, blogs, websites, search engines, emails and other medium. The rate at which companies are looking for digital marketers to enhance their online presence and dominance is massively increasing. So the job portfolio, digital marketer is very hot currently.

Content writer: Content writer is another hot ICT job portfolio and highly in demand. Content writers provide and develop contents of organizations to help advertise, promote, build and maintain brands most especially online. Any serious company that is into sales of product and services, willing to succeed needs content writer to develop marketable contents optimized for websites, blogs, social media and other digital avenues. This job portfolio is highly in demand.

Social media executive: it’s not possible for you to have the above 2 job portfolios without this unless you merge them together. Social media executive or personnel or managers, depending on how you want to put it, provided there is social media attached to it. This job portfolio is very hot and relevant in every industry. That’s why Government of countries of the world spend millions recruiting social media personnel to handle their social media affairs. No serious organization can go much farther without social media executives to handle their social media affairs.

Solution is simple. Scan the memory card with a PC then press Windows button and search for 'Folder Options"

Go to where they say " Hide protected Operating system files" or something like that and disable

Also, show hidden files.

You will see all your files. Create new folders and move your files to the new locations.

Wrong about KTU. That's Ikosi-Ketu and not Ikotun, that one at least i know for sure.

And LSD is Lagos Island and not Oshodi,

LSR is Ilasamaja and not Surulere or whatever you wrote

I doubt you were even correct about the others ecept for the obvious ones.

Ilasa should be under Oshodi-Isolo with headquarters at Oshodi. So you're not correct.

Lagos island is AAA
