TheGoodJoe: I did not have time to watch the game. A bit busy but I caught a few minutes in the beginning and towards the end of the first half. Rodri did not look wack to me. There was even a point he was surrounded by three Chelsea players that he made a nice control and kept the ball safe, which was interesting.
Whoscored gave Rodri a 7.77 rating, over Sterling and Bernado Silva.
To enjoy Rodri, is about his decision making, his opening for spaces and reading of opposition passes.
He can't be that bad when he is even preferred over Fernandinho.
Fernandinho adds steel to our defensive setup but Rodri adds fludity. Rodri is so light in that midfield that basically anybody bullies him, Pulisic schooled him in the first half he got a reprieve in the second half when Man city dominated possession He is always guaranteed to lose a 50-50 against a decent midfielder |

BascoVanVeli: Omo go rest why didn't u add Salah and Mane while u were at it.
Mr Nobody Will Want Awoniyi (III) Why are you quoting me out of context? I clearly said in that thread you are quoting that only a newly promoted club will get Awoniyi and rightly Union Berlin got him abi you no see am By the way my point still stands that the gap between Liverpool and Awoniyi is as long as Lagos to London |

All 3 players u mentioned combined have only scored one more league goal than Taiwo this season. Why are u being so hard headed? This is embarrassing on your part, get it together. How many goals does Diego Jota, the 5th striker added by Liverpool have? Answer: 9

BascoVanVeli: What does any of that have to do with players selecting their country of origin That singular article can make players decide they want to play for a Nigeria so I have no problem with it. You think an article by someone who was basically a product of the white man would make young footballers to change their mind If he had done any thing of note in Africa maybe his works will speak for him |

BascoVanVeli: Let the guy speak on his homeland na.
Plus I wouldn't advice Balotelli to start any academy until he can get other rich people to fund it. Remember where we are talking about ooo loses go dey The guy is still all talk, he was brought up in a white academy, had a successful career in European clubs, chose a white country against an African one, paid and is paid by European individuals In all these he does not have an African academy or charity but chooses to blab when he likes, he should give me a break! |
