komekn: Leicester have flattered to deceive l said quote some time ago that the EPL is not a sprint but a marathon. And towards the end I said they will struggle to maintain 6th position.
Currently they are getting schooled by Tottenham they can't cope 3-0 at half time and two goals by Kane.
And quite a few here say they don't rate Kane.
Modern footballers of high quality can finish with instinct both left or right foot. This should be a basic standard.
There was a time l think it was a requirement in the U17 Golden Eaglets, but l dont think it's the case anymore.
I see coaches right from age 10 in EPL academies making sure kids have two feet proficiency, by the time they get to 16 it's become natural. Who has ever said that here? |

TheGoodJoe: His saving grace is his work rate. I think it is time for Pep to give Sterling a rjn of games in the striking role. Bring in Bernardo Silva to work on the flanks with Mahrez. I think City should hijack the Lautaro Martinez deal or go for Haarland, City will win nothing with Jesus as their main striker |

charlesemeka85: RB Leipzig chief Markus Krosche says they have no intention of selling Nigerian-born forward Ademola Lookman this summer.
Lookman has been linked with a return to the Premier League with Newcastle United touted as a possible destination.
Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce is a big admirer of the England U-21 international.
“We do not intend to hand him in,” Krosche declared.
“Ademola is a young player with a lot of potential. We hope that he will take the next step with us and help us achieve our goals.
Lookman joined Leipzig last summer from Premier League club Everton.
He has a contract with with the Bundesliga club until 2024. Ademola Lookman is somebody else who needs to come to the premier league |

Joebie: See arrogance from Hon. Lucky Sunday Nkeki
“With all sense of modesty and no disrespect to other states in Nigeria, Delta State will continue to rule sports in the country. Be it in football, athletics, you name it for the next 30 to 50 years. ” I say this because “the policies, strategies and the facilities are all there to ensure the state continues to remain dominant in sports in the country. ” Again, it may also interest you to know that “Delta state has the highest number of sporting facilities in the country. We have close to 14 stadia in Oleh, Warri, Ughelli, Ogwashi Uku, Agbor, Asaba, Sapele, Ukwuani, Iselle Uku etc and these facilities are being used by our athletes.
” Then if you look at our records at previous competitions he continued, you will realise that it speaks volume. “We have won the last four editions of the National Sports Festival in Nigeria and if not for the Corona Virus pandemic we would have still won the Edo 2020 edition that was put on hold due to the restriction on sporting activities.
“The Youth Sports Festival that usually holds in Ilorin is our birthright. We have also won it four times and still counting.
“It’s our birthright in the sense that we have a programme, the Schools Sports Festival where we churn out all these talents.
“The programme is for secondary and primary schools in Delta. Luckily we have just finished the last edition before the lockdown started where a lot of talents were discovered”.
“For now, most of these talents are under scholarships from the state government at different levels, tertiary, secondary or primary schools”, he concluded. Where's the lie? |
