I consider John Terry world class but not many people would agree. As for Eden Hazard he is very good but for me personally I don't consider him world class because I don't think he has done enough over a period of time
If John Terry is not world class then who is?

Let me delve into d issue of world class stuff,as for me any player to b considered a world class player must possess at least 2 out of this three areas I am abt to say

1...d player must b consistent in terms of performance on and off d field in a well known league,(especially d top 5ive leagues we have)

2...d player MUST HAVE at least some few personal known awards/accolades whether in his club team, league or national awards yearly and also team trophy(ies) in his cabinet to show for his consistency(performance)

3....d player must at least always make d 1st -40 ballon d'or /FIFA player of d year nomination list, or d 1st- 10 continental player of d year award nomination list YEARLY; dis is a sign dt u re reckoned with in d world of football ......

So any player dt doesn't possess @ least 2 out of d 3 aforementioned point to me,its not a world class player yet as far as I am concerned..dts y I only considered "MIKEL" has d only WORLD CLASS PLAYER WE HAD IN SUPER EAGLES during his time. cool

If everything I wrote flew over your head, I have no more words for you.

Feel free to go and laugh under Oma's comments, since you believe everyone has the same audience and their words hold the same weight.

You clearly have no idea what expert opinions mean
Oma a journalist does not constitute an 'expert' opinion

He made an inside joke that has been heard a thousand times I don't know why you are riled

Because he has a wider audience, yes. He is supposedly a journalist of repute as well, not just some faceless Nairaland commentator.

The fact that you don't understand why his own jokes are particularly offensive, is disturbing.

Do you know Andrew's full name and profession? Can you compare his jokes on a Nigerian site, to that of Oma Akatugba, a supposed renowned journalist on a global platform like Twitter? If he can make such jokes, what stops Fabio from Italy from concluding every Nigerian player is overaged?

The kind of nonsense you lot allow people that should know better get away with, says a lot about why Nigeria has such a shit reputation abroad. No other journalist from other sensible countries would get away with such a joke, but foolish Nigerians are under his comment section cackling like degenerate fowls and agreeing to his statement.

Foolish people, with zero idea of how much a narrative can form opinions.
He has a wider audience therefore you should hold him at a higher standard that you hold yourself? Nigerians make jokes about overage in different places in reputable websites like goal even here on nairaland read by thousands of other nationalities, but Oma a journalist making it will give it authority?

Stop setting standards for other people you don't set for yourself

Our age jokes on this thread ends here not someone like oma akatugba

The BLM movement is far loosing credibility, at least the discerning members of the public are dissociating themselves from their antics.

Black lives begin to matter when they're killed by a White man. They keep to their moms when it's a Black on Black kill as it happens in Chicago and New York on a daily basis.

Dave Dorn, David Underwood, Italia Kelly, Chris Beaty were other Black people killed during the protest, the BLM never thought it wise to honor them, but, for the criminal Floyd, they're bent on destroying their cities.

Fact is, unarmed Whites have died in the hands of police officers in the US than unarmed Blacks, guess it's normal.

However, Jeff Bezos has the right as an individual to support the movement in spite of a disgruntled customer, so do you, but people like me would always present our reasons for not joining in on the party even though we may come out too strongly at times
Jeez why would you say that
