Kalu and shehu re the only pick i deem unmerited. Kalu hv not been active in bordeux while i see no reason a turkish 2nd tier player will be invited to the current eagles set up at this age in time.

I would hv prefered ejike in place of kalu while young alhasan should hv been given a chance instead of shehu who doesnt hv much to offer the team.
Onuachu, Olayinka, Maja were dropped

You don't expect a coach to invite a new set of 23 players everytime

yes politically criminal bandits attacked innocent people in Kaduna village... It can happen anywhere in the country...

What the government need is push up in security sector... Because of insecurity in Kaduna, zamfara and maiduguri doesn't mean that the whole north is unsafe... Use your head
What about insecurity in Adamawa, Kastina and Plateau

Are they not North too?

spot on that's why i'm always happy whenever our youngsters choose other countries other than england when they want to go to europe. typical english clubs when they see an african player who plays as a midfielder will try to turn him into the next makalele.
Yeah they have a stereotype against African players, if you are not fast and strong you are not good enough

I was listening to Tim Sheerwood saying that Iheanacho should use his speed to overtake players, but anybody who knows Iheanacho knows that speed is not his strong point but finishing

Holland, Belgium, France and Spain are the best leagues for our players to start from (Particularly those who like dribbling and are technical by nature).
Holland in particular as this league concentrated on developing young players.
Chidera Ejuke made a wise move going to a mid-table team in Holland.
In the ductch league and other leagues mentioned above they teach you tactics, good decision making, how to apply your creativity in a team setting e.t.c.
I don't beleive your young players should go to the English league as that league does not understand or appreciate technical players and concentrates too much on physicality (strength and speed).
the great Kanu Nwankwo started at Ajax (which is a club focused on development-- dem no kuku get money).
Mark my words, most of our players who cut it in Holland, Belgium, France and Spain will go on to be particularrly succesful.
In fact, if Mikel had started in Ajax he could have become like Pirlo and not Makelele (that Maurinho turned him into).
You see, in holland they develop you and take you by the hand and mould you into a star and then, they correct your mistakes
You're wise

why should he not be having them?

Hasn't Neymar been having series of injuries? What of Bale, Dembele and even Hazard?
You can't compare Neymar, Bale to Kante grin

Kante is a workhorse but he combined two season's work into one under Conte and Sarri and his body is paying for it

is it that Kante's body is feeling it? Or is it that Lampard is not playing Kante as a DM, hence his ineffectiveness in his new role?
Kante has been having series of injuries and at his prime he should not be having them

My opinion

I think Ndidi is overworked at Leicester, the 4-1-4-1 formation leaves him doing the work of two or three players, this has reflected in his knee injuries and I can't remember the last time Ndidi got injured

He will get back from injury and start a donkey job in the same 4-1-4-1 formation along prima donnas like Maddison and Tielemans , Kante did the donkey job in the days of Conte now his body is feeling it.

There's so much the body can take.
