Damioduso1: Cyril Desser is not in the 40 man list send by Rohr to caf. Nff must pick a name from the 40 man list to replace Ighalo. Terem Moffi name was there as a striker while inform Cyril Desser name was omitted from the list Where were Nwakali and Ndah's names from? The coach can replace any unavailable player with any player of his choosing |

safarigirl: Then pair him up with Awoniyi, like they were paired up in U-17 many years ago Nawa o 4-4-2, Iheanacho has done enough damage to our team, I'm sure Awoniyi would prefer to play alone |

Better Iheanacho than Musa, better Iheanacho than Ighalo sef, because wetin Ighalo don play of recent? The last time I saw Iheanacho lead our press against South Africa was the most frustrating match I've ever watched, I don't want to see him there abeg |

andrewbaba44: Ighalo might not make it to afcon with the news I am currently reading
Who will now be the starting striker ?
Me I am rooting for awoniyi ,but I won’t be surprised to see iheanacho there . Iheanacho leading our press against Egypt, sounds funny to me |

Kog45: The rating Nwakili is receiving here is confusing, just remind me of Joel Obi prior to 2018 world cup.
Good performance from him will surely boost our midfield. Yes I remember that Joel Obi saga, anybody who didn't watch him would think he is Pirlo and Iniesta rolled into one |

Meliforme: Aribo is a good winger, but a very poor midfielder. This is not hard to see. He should be drafted to the wings where his pace, dribbling and finishing will come handy
As far as the central and attacking midfield is concerned, Iwobi and Aribo has nothing on Nwakali, withi Aribo being the least as far as game reading is concerned. Should i also say that he is the least in technique. This is an honest appraisal.
I am not trying to bring down Aribo, but we will appreciate more the player Aribo is when we see him ply the wings. He doesn't seem to bring anything of note to the team because we have players who are head and shoulders above him adding to the fact that he plies a position that doesn't fit him. Aribo is a very poor midfielder but has been the best player in the Scottish league from midfield, remind me what is Nwakali doing again? |

Eizzy003: I just da laugh dm, as they talk say make dm replace any striker with Dessers, someone that wasn't listed in the 40 man list, and you just want to call him up for a tournament just like that, even Dennis that actually had an invite but it came late his club didn't accept it. Let's just forget Dessers we won't be seeing him in this tournament, even as a sub in his club, his club won't let him leave just like that Oga no club has a right to deny a player of Afcon invitation despite how late the call up is, leave this thing Watford dey talk na because Dennis has already decided that he is not going to Afcon that is why his club is flying this rubbish to defend him, no be Ebuehi and Olayinka una say their call up is not possible no be them arrive so even Liverpool know say they are powerless that's why they released Mane and Salah |

What made it ridiculous? The reasons Eguavoen abandoned it were time and CAF not allowing changes. He never said it was ridiculous. So who made it ridiculous? You?
Since I stopped slapping people on this thread, some of you are growing wings. This is not how to start the new year but take it.
CAF perfectly allowed changes by the way, Eguavoen was allowed to replace any injured player in the list with any local player, the reason Eguavoen abandoned it is because it is ridiculous |
