chrisooblog: Hi Subzero this is the video of the press conference. Musa was misquoted so I think your initial statement was premature and uncalled for.
Stormtrooper11: Damn. I won't join you in your ethnic slander. You did wrong and you weren't supposed to use those words for a respected personality in our national team. Don't act poorly trained and immatured. I expected better from you as a veteran in this thread. Maybe I expected too much tho
I didn't mention the word 'North' in this thread, go and find your ethnic slander where you lost it
JohnBullMySon: Boss you fumbled small, don't fumble more. Bastard was way too much. Musa doesn't deserve that at all.
Bastard is not enough, the guy is holding the national team to ransom imagine being 40 years old and promising that you'll be in the next world cup, guys like Moffi should have started their national team career by now
TheGoodJoe: Nacho had a brilliant game playing as a striker against Manchester City. So how can you finito with he is not a striker?
He actually played well as a lone striker against Man city because he didn't have to press, play him as a lone striker to lead the press and he falls desperately short
jihday: Musa on retirement: “I didn’t say I will retire from international football after this AFCON but this will be my last AFCON & we still have the World Cup that I will go”.
Once we qualify his participation is assured
I thought this bastard was just looking for his 100th cap
jihday: Musa on retirement: “I didn’t say I will retire from international football after this AFCON but this will be my last AFCON & we still have the World Cup that I will go”.
Once we qualify his participation is assured
This man has already announced that he will be in the world cup list and our new coach has not even started, nepotism will not kill Nigeria
Shukusheka: As much as I love this formation and selection, the attack won't work. Should Iheanacho play central forward in a 4-3-3 formation, he should be partnered by pacey inside forwards like Ahmed Musa who can feed off his creativity upfront. Like how Rodgers used Lookman to feed off Iheanacho against Liverpool.
Playing Iheanacho, Chukwueze and Ejuke upfront will have them dribbling, passing the ball around without any them attacking space or being aggressive in the box.
Yes you get it, this formation would have Iheanacho withdrawing into the False 9 space forcing Chukwueze and Ejuke to play as pseudo - strikers which is not their strength
minfelix: If the coach stick by a wing play of Chukwueze and Ejuke, who do guys fancy to lead our attack 1. Iheanacho 2. Awoniyi 3. Umar 4. Olayinka
I think Awoniyi is the best man to combine with our wingers because he would act as a foil that draws defenders and allowing space for the wingers to operate, Iheanacho would be the worst because he literally has no presence, Umar would have been good with his skills but he doesn't play as a target man, same with Olayinka
ChrisKels: Simple English, you can't comprehend. Andrew dun better pass you oo, Earthquake my brother
Emmanuel Dennis was the main reason Pinnick sacked Rohr tell me the secondary reasons, it seems you come up with this Earthquake nonsense whenever your logic is stuck in your throat
ChrisKels: Dennis's exclusion was one of the main reasons Pinnick gave Rohr his sack later, yet some people still doubt he would be back after AfCon? Lol Pinnick wey dey romance Watford?
Pinnick didn't sack Rohr because we were playing drab football or were on the verge of not qualifying for the World cup but because he did not invite Emmanuel Dennis lol
minfelix: I hate watching team playing too many long balls from defence to attack, I saw most of it in today's game. When they can't go through the middle with tip-taps they will just resort to one boring aimless long ball that will later fall in the hand of opponent goal keeper... somebody should warn ekong, that's his trademark
When there is nobody in the middle to pass to what will he do?
Mujtahida: Not you alone. Maduka doesn't inspire confidence. Yours is even better, you prefer Uzoho. Me, none of them cos I've seen them all to know they are all on the same level except that Akpeyi transmits fear in such a visceral way that even you watching him, will start shaking as he is shaking.
MetalJigsaw: Pharaohs Not About Me Alone, Salah Replies Nigeria, Others independent.ng
LAGOS – Mohammed Salah, the Pharaohs of Egypt and Liverpool of England prolific attacker, has replied the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) opponents, who had been making comments about him ahead of the start of the continental showpiece, saying the former African champions were not about him alone.
The forward, who just recently joined his international colleagues after helping Liverpool secure a 2-2 draw against Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge, said such comments as ‘we can stop Salah’, ‘we are not intimidated’ by Salah’, among others were uncalled for as his team has quality players to prosecute the competition even if he was not there.
Salah, while speaking to local media, KingFut.com, said he was sure Pharaohs would do well with the corporation of everybody.
“I have read severally where such comments like ‘we can stop Salah’ and ‘we are not intimidated by Salah’ are said. But it is not about me.
“In this team, we have very good and hungry players who can do the job even if I am not there.
“No team can perform with only one player and in our team, we have players who are willing and capable of winning this Competition whether I am there or not and I think we will do well with the corporation of all,” KingFut quoted the player as saying.
Meanwhile, it will be recalled that some Nigerian players have pointed the Liverpool danger man as a player that must be stopped when both countries clash on Tuesday. Nigeria are in the same group with Egypt, Sudan and Guinea Bissau.
Guy if you know that your marriage will give you problems in future better quit o, this is not Hollywood movies
Meliforme: Try well to understand what a person is saying before running into conclusions. The Youtube videos are just an extra to the observations made of him to make sure that i am not missing vital moments.
Where did you make observations of him, you watched him at his club to know he gets lost in games and his impact is hard to figure out, give me his club matches you watched to arrive to that conclusion maybe I can see where you are coming from
Danielnino00: Why would Rohr leave Desser out of the 40 man list in the first place? A red hot striker in the Eredivise! And Subzero and Emeka were all over here ranting that Eguavon chased the foreign borns away..
This is simply Rohr's mistake coming back to bite us..
JohnBullMySon: I think Eguavoen will bring Dessers if the finance if the NFF is ready to pay the fine. Our striking department is low now and he knows it. He left out Dessers because he want to replace the Initial players who pulled out from the 40 man list. Going outside that list may have been somehow.
You guys pull out the most useless of excuses to defend this man, he went to the depths of South Africa to call up Ndah but calling up a hotshot from Holland would be somehow
drDoom3: I wonder how you are seeing him not understanding tactics from YouTube highlights. Nwakali has more to contribute defensively then Aribo? You have to be joking here. Nwakali that barely tackles and doesn’t track players in his box. Aribo gets lost in games like seriously? Do you even watch the guy at club level?
I’m tired of this argument abeg. The way you guys slander players without evidence is appalling. You just put up a word salad without real substance up there. Like seriously imagine saying Nwakali is better defensively than Aribo. Even Moses Simon that is a winger tracks back better than Nwakali does.
The guy makes his judgments on youtube highlights, you shouldn't take him seriously
