Of course, there's a deadline attached to this kind of thing... But the fact that Ekong isn't having any issue with his own call up shows something funny is up..
The real question now is whether the NFF are willing to go all out to punish Watford...I doubt they will do that....
Yes I even forgot Ekong

does the nff has the balls to push this notion?
NFF has to push this for Afcon as a whole

If it is true, the NFF won't win.. Watford will present good evidence against them... To them, they didn't get the official invitation at the time stipulated by FIFA, so they have every right to hold on to the player...
Is there even a thing as deadline for clubs in Afcon invitations? I think Watford are fighting with their last breath for Emmanuel Dennis but if NFF let's this slide it sets a dangerous precedent for clubs disrespecting Afcon in the future, I think NFF is already covered by Fifa, if for any reason you stop your player from going to Afcon, that player does not play for you during the tournament

I think NFF are to be blamed here because they apparently missed the deadline to submit Dennis name
I don’t care how they go about it but it will be very disrespectful for Afcon if Emmanuel Dennis continues playing while Afcon is going on

Watford should know they should not be playing Emmanuel Dennis during the period of the Afcon

How’s he a fraud? The man only invited two new players to the team, the bulk of the team is made up of players whom have been playing together for the last five years.

You want him to make changes when we have less than two weeks to a tournament? The time frame is too short for a major team overhaul, cut him some slack.

His team is yet a kick a ball, and here you guys are berating him already.
Yes we are saying the same thing, any more excuses grin

All I am saying is that, don’t call him a “fraud” if you don’t have corroborative or clear evidence. That’s a dangerous language. If you have any evidence that he did fraudulent things, provide such but if not STFU.
The man has made 3 decisions that were arguably worse than Rohr who was chopped up and sacrificed yet you are using 'corroborative' and other bogus English to defend him, you can't even recognize wrongs anymore lmao

Let’s not call our brother a “fraud” without evidence. Personally, I disagree with some of his selections but calling him fraud without any corroborative evidence is wrong.. remember that Keshi used homegrown talent like oboabona and mba ahead of established players like igiebor and yobo and still won an ANC..
Because he is our 'brother' makes him less of a fraud, so you would torelate incompetence from him that you wouldn't torelate from any other coach because he comes from the same place as you? This Eguavoen appointment has exposed many of you grin grin grin

It seems like you forgot that Olise also need clearance to play for us..

He wasn't even approached talkless of starting a switch but his name was on the list...So what make you think Lookman name wasn't there for the same reason?
Olise does not need any switch, he has not played a competitive game for any under age team

Sir,every decisions took by Eguavoen on the list cannot be questioned....

I highlighted why Rohr failed especially on Ebuehi and Akpoguma....it's simple,Ebuehi as integral member of Afcon qualifier will make the team but Rhor didn't gave him the opportunity......On Akpoguma it was cleared that we need him but Rohr kept him on the bench which meant he wasn't good enough....this gave Eguavoen opportunity to look elsewhere and brought in Ndah who he believed he can do it.

If am the coach I will pick Ebuehi and Akpoguma but Rohr himself didn't rate the duo and I don't see Ebuehi making it even with Rohr but possibly Akpoguma.

The only grievances you can have against Austin Eguavoen was inclusion of Olisa Ndah, nothing more.
Why are you using reasons that got Rohr sacked to justify Eguavoen? Who doesn't know that Ebuehi is better than Shehu and Jamilu Collins or that Bassey is currently our most inform defender or that Dessers or Lookman are better than Ighalo and Ahmed Musa, is it rocket science?

Nwakali is coming to camp because other players do not possess a key skill set Eguavoen needs for his strategy.

He can manage the others but he needs to see if he can get Nwakali to click because of his system.
I'm just using Nwakali as an example for somebody saying new invitations will disrupt the team

Those local players are put in place because of injuries. You can't ask Ebuehi or lookman to come to camp leaving their club duties without the certainty of going to Afcon.
We all should drop this sentiment. Every foreign based player won't be called, that will always be the fact. And there will always be fringe players in the team this happens everywhere.
Let's just get behind them and hopefully, we put up a good show at the tournament.
40 man lists were submitted to Caf so that internationals are replaced with internationals in case of injury this is Afcon not any friendly
