charlesemeka85: grant is not bad but i don't see him bringing anything different to the table and may demand more salary wise. i will only care about the team again if rohr is replaced by an European or south american but not our indigenous coaches Grant is a finished coach looking for a retirement payout People don't really know what Rohr brings to the Nigerian team that's why they take him for granted, his job as team counselor, guide, agent is unquantifiable It would be hard to find someone who cares as much |

It is only in Nigeria that someone would be given a worse contract and more limitations after performing well

charlesemeka85: I think your claim on Pinnick being pressured by the cabal makes sense to me with the corruption cases hanging on his neck.
Why on earth will the nff expect Rohr to reside in Nigeria when 99% of his players ply their trade in Europe?
No decent European coach will sign such contract which will limit his authority and say in player selection and one which will confide him in Nigeria and only allowed to go for vacation 3 times in a whole calender year. Coaching job na ministry abi office work?
Indirectly Pinnick is on the verge of messing himself up which I doubt is known to him. The new contract is worse than his former contract They are essentially forcing him out |

RiddlesofFate: Really @the bolded? How about Paul Aigbogun (U20)? Imama Amakapabo (U23 & Home Eagles)? Manu Garba (U17)? Danjuma (Falcons). All of the friends of Pinnick he hired as coaches failed woefully in their assignments. But Pinnick has continued to keep them and NFF has continued to pay them salaries.. They'll probably be allowed to handle preparations for the next squads in 2020, despite failing in the same assignments in 2019. They've all been sacked |

TheGoodJoe: Sometimes, He needs to drop Vardy. Left to me, Ayoze Perez should have come in Vardy because despite all Vardy’s running, Klopp got stopping balls to Vardy to perfection. Vardy was offering nothing upfront.
Get Ayoze Perez to play the false 9 role and do a lot of work defensively to reduce Liverpool building from the back.
He got Choudury Ndidi playing in defensive midfield but with Vardy alone upfront, they were playing one man down in the Liverpool set up. Moving Maddison to a more central role would have worked wonders too.
I hope Rodgers learns from this and gets his setup better. He also needs to work on the team pressing as a team with his full backs joining the midfield to give a central defensive stability when they press with intensity. Perez has been terrible have you been watching Leicester? |

charlesemeka85: an eze kind of player will shine when the super eagles is playing against lesser teams but may be frustrated and found wanting when the team is on pressure against superior teams. work rate is one of the major reasons rohr likes iwobi so much and if eze can add that to his game he will become a well rounded midfielder who can also be deployed as a CM. Yeah Eze lacks workrate but the best players do |
