Farzat:
we have seen a makeshift players perform better than their natural position overtime.
Any time I watch Emmanuel Dennis, I keep pondering how well this guy can perform in an AM role under a visionary coach. He is an intelligent player and has everything it takes to perform well there. he controls and passes the ball so well even in a tight space, he has speed and carries the ball so well from the deap. He dribles so well and has eyes for goal. He is duped Nigerian Neymar for reasons. If Musa can be deployed to play a number 10 role for Nigeria, I don't the see the reason why Emmanuel Dennis can not be tried there especially now that we are lacking quality in that position.

Like Ejuke, Dennis strengths are speed and dribbling, you can't just confine him in a tight space and give him the responsibility to be the team's chief creator, No be every body wey can dribble can play the no 10, sometimes the no 10 doesn't need dribbling

andrewbaba44:
Guardiola is a mad man

You go get striker play am as winger while play the winger as a false 9

Jesus has always performed better as a winger than a CF, I remember early in the season where he gave 3 assists from the wings since then Guardiola has always played him as a winger

TFLASHOGEE:
he acknowledged that he his comfortable playing from the flanks so you will see more of him in that role and occasionally switch to CF

Hmm better for him

cromz:
He does play as an AM sir and also plays as a LM

Ok

Man city are so beautiful to watch, people call this robotic football

andrewbaba44:
Please don’t drop oooo

Continue that your agenda Baba

He is playing well in the wings, maybe he is actually a winger

cromz:
He plays in the midfield too as a LM/AM as secondary roles

He doesn't play as an AM oga, he is a primary winger that can play as an LM like Ejuke and Co

Gabriel Jesus don score, e be like say I go drop my agenda

cromz:
Dennis May be the solution to our midfield problems he can play Lm/AM

Everybody can be a solution to our midfield problems, Dennis plays as a winger or a striker

Watford are chopping Everton like Sharwama

It seems like their constant change of coaches works for them

Emmanuel Dennis scores

Wtf! Calum Wilson with a beautiful bicycle kick

TheGoodJoe:
Without the work rate, he will bench. Simple. Not his prolific goalscoring.

Jesus with the workrate is sitting on the bench for him This shows you what Pep would do with Haarland get him and mould him to play your way but you can't teach goalscoring instincts

Where Benteke learn to score?

andrewbaba44:
So if you sign player and him play one game e no impress then you go drop am ?

You will Surely make a bad coach

A Chelsea fan has already quoted me and said the right thing

The coach dey watch them for training, if you don't impress better than the other players why will you play? And for your information he played two matches and he sucked in both of them

TheGoodJoe:
Because Aguero improved his work rate to suit the tactics. His prolific goalscoring prowess meant nothing to Pep if he was not doing his own part tactically to suit the team.

He improved his workrate and started benching the work rate monster this shows you where Guardiola's priorities lie

TheGoodJoe:

In the modern game, tactics is king over individual quality.

It is what the player brings to teamwork that matters, than what he brings individual.

Are you saying Haaland doesn't fit into Pep's tactics or he doesn't have team work, Haarland has 19 assists over the last 2 seasons

TheGoodJoe:

So why did Guardiola prefer signing a kid from Brazil and dropped a guaranteed Hitman for the kid?

What happened the next season, Aguero took his rightful place and Gabriel Jesus was producing similar numbers to Aguero that's why Pep preferred Gabriel Jesus that season

TheGoodJoe:
Now you know that a coach or person will prefer a lower rated player over a top rated player due to attributes.

No one, will say Osimhen is better over Haaland because of Haaland is rated higher.

So, he will give his reasons why he prefers Haaland.

All round attributes Is a reason why one will prefer a player over another.

If a striker guarantees you 49 goals in 49 games there would be no reason for you to prefer another striker with lesser numbers all every coach cares about is winning so what you are talking is okoto

andrewbaba44:
You cannot use 1 game to judge a player

Tuchel is not giving him chance and that’s it

He just collect the guy on loan for nothing

You want him to be playing Okoto for a guy chasing the league the one he was subbed on in the Champions league what did he play

andrewbaba44:
Then why did they get him on loan?

We cant see a good performance from the bench nah baba

Tuchel got him on loan and ends up playing loftus cheek and barkley ahead of him who arent up to his level

He has not impressed in training that's the point and he didn't impress in his debut and in his sub appearance in the Champions league

Saul Niguez no still enter pitch o

Cc Andrewbaba44

AndSunGorilla:
Norwich case simple, dem suppose sack their coach now and when they get relegated, hire him again to bring them back. D guy na expert for championship.

No they won't they are not that ambitious

andrewbaba44:
It’s only Norwich city and this game is not surprising

Everybody Dey shine today once better match come e go reduce ,we all saw what brentford did las week despite loosing

When last did Chelsea win by even 4:0 in the league and Norwich is no walk over o

Hmm Chelsea lost Lukaku and Werner and still pumped Norwich 7:0, This season go hot o

This Chelsea na wa o

Balogun makes it to the Europa team of the week

Arsenate:
I love that it's only on this thread that Osimhen isn't getting the praises he so obviously merits. Boy is being talked about as being up there with some of the world's best in almost every football forum out there and by most pundits, but trust some Nigerians to downplay the abilities of one of their own under the guise of objectivity.

Saying that Osimhen is not better than Haarland is downplaying his abilities?

Joe Aribo completed 41/42 passes in the first half

Balogun scores!!! 2 goals in 3 matches for the defender

Sportilitica:
Van Dijk, Attack wins matches, defence wins titles

Yeah

Test your football knowledge

As a manager you are bottom of the league, 6 points off the nearest club and you are given the choice to sign either Van Dijk or Lewandowski to survive relegation, who do you sign and why
