As in ehn... In a way, Iheanacho's success lately has been partly due to Vardy creating chances for him and drawing defenders out of the way
Yea Vardy does a lot of work that opens a lot of space for Iheanacho

Too many excuses, kepa was at the goal and don't forget pulisic would have started ahead of ziyech and havertz ahead of Werner. maybe odoi ahead of James (very serious games, like this one was supposed to be)
too many excuses for a loss
Valid excuses if you may say so, it was very clear from the lineup that only Tuchel wanted that win and Guardiola was insha Allah and hoping key players don't get injured for the Champions league semi final

See you trying to undermine Rodri-Fernandinho pivot

Why do you think Guardiola use Rodri-Fernandinho pivot in big games?
Rodri Gundogan pivot is our main pivot, Rodri Fernandinho doesn't even make because it leaves a huge creative problem and Guardiola only make use of it to rest key midfielders in fringe games

No excuses Chelsea completely nullified your team yesterday. Tuchel has really done well to come up with a formation that guarantees defensive solidity. I always suspected that once the blues get the first goal your guys would find it difficult to score.
They were defensively solid because they had nothing to do, Tuchel could play Alonso at CB and keep a clean sheet, Kepa was in goal ffs grin

Lol come off it abeg

So Laporte is not a good defender abi?

Christensen, one of Chelsea’s best defender under Tuchel didn’t play too

De Bruyne got injured in the second half not first, even when he was on the pitch, he was lost as he didn’t get the ball most of the time he was on the pitch

Foden and Gundogan didn’t start but they came in so what is the excuse?

Jesus wey Guardiola don dey play since when now don turn masquerade cheesy

Just accept, Chelsea didn’t not give you the chance to play your football and were the better team yesterday not coming with fringe players excuse and saying your coach was relying on hope in a semi final match
What Man city match have you watched that we produced only one shot on target in the first half? Rodri and Fernandinho double pivot is a rare combination we rarely use, the less said about Sterling, Jesus and Ferran Torres front three the better

Just accept your loss and move on.

Chelsea also had important players that didn't play at all and others were subbed in. I wonder how some ppl think sometimes. Success is not meant for one team alone.
Yes Chelsea played well but Sterling and Jesus have started 4 of the 5 matches we lost, it was just line up and insha allah

Making an excuse for Pep now grin grin

Laporte, Dias, Sterling, De Bruyne, Cancelo, Gundogan, Foden, Fernandinho, Rodri, Mendy, Jesus na him you dey call fringe players
Our best defensive partnership (Stones/Dias) didn't start, De Bruyne got injured in the first half, Foden, Gundogan didn't even start, Mendy and Jesus are masquerades

If that's not the sign of a coach going on hope alone I don't know what is

Leicester to shellack Southampton by more than 3 goals. Senior Man will have a MOTM performance. Quote me after the encounter wink cool
I think Rodgers would do exactly what Pep did yesterday, bring out fringe players, get beat and focus on the league which is the most important thing at the moment
