pls, i need manufacturers of potato starch right here in nigeria.. Do u know any? Pls give me their contacts. Thanks |
ogirisako: we have two current types of dtt are:-dtt1 like west midland ibadan,dtt2 for gotv, all what u need is tv transmitter,or to share one face out of 4 face tv transmitter, you can share it wit any broadcasting tv station in area, etheir uhf,or vhf band, the equipment u will use are :-computer,cameras,studio,generator,c-band uplink and down link wave from any satellite, the from c-band it redirect it to dtt signal, because startimes tv is show on c band satellite ,and west midland cable in ibadan is using arabsat and eutelsatW2A.thanks... I learnt dat transmission can b done either through d use of satellite, fibre optic & one other method i can't remember now. But i was told d fibre optic option is d best...how feasible is dat in Nigeria? |
tonto dike is very pretty, i wish i could have her, but in the world of acting, she comes second behind mercy johnson who finds it too easy to interprete her characters.. Mercy Johnson acts as if she wrote all the movies she has starred in. Yes, Mercy Johnson has itt |
then it ought not to have been an issue in the first place |
i tot as much...no comment!!!! |
hi everyone. Pls i need ideas on how to set up a digital terestrial tranxmission service in Nigeria. All sorts of information will be useful. |
I invite u all that thinks politics is mathematics where u can simply use the almighty formula to solve a quadratic equation. why did the ACN fail in OYO state relinquinshing power to the PDP in 2003? Very simple: Adedibu was against them and Adedibu had all the thugs (wether u like it or not, u need thugs in Nigeria either to steal votes for you or keep watch over your votes). All they needed was keep Adedibu in their ranks, give what belongs to God to the people and give what belongs to Ceaser to Adedibu. if any of u tink an angel will run this country come 2015 then u must be mistaken. Do not think that is not what I want, but it is not possible. In addition, dont think i am a pessimist. That is the sad reality. if u will, go join a political party at your ward...roll before them your great ideas and let us see how far you will go. U will hear loud applause and that is it. If your ideas cant provide for those that will endorse it, sorry, no show. Trust mi, if you are in such a position...u will do same. Abi no be u must collect tip to do your job for office simply because someone is in need? Funny and hypocritical nigerians. let me add...stealing in public office is not easy. It requires good skills and that is where GEJ HAS FAILED MORE. At every move u know he is stealing. quick questions: how can he tell it will cost him 3billion naira to feed in a year? Na from heaven the food they come...i thought he receives salaries...why should we still feed him? Why should the youwin programme cost N50B when only 6000people will be empowered with N10M max...give or take N4B operations cost. Wetin happen to the rest N40B? Why should he tell us he wants to erect abuja gate for N7B...gate wey only him dey pass...wetin happen to the former gate...abi dis new gate is to be made with pure gold? Why should his wife be thinking of building an office for N4B...an office not recognised by the constitution...na museum we want put the office abi we want turn to world heritage site? more questions are begging for answers... look, we are all thieves one way or the other in this country. But i will rather support a thief like tinubu, fashola, oshiomole than support a thief ibori, igbinedion et al. come to think of it...no be this same Jona wey most of u dey call retardeen u na dey canvass for so? How is he better than IBB? |
@yewe. I mentioned CAR cos e said they - AA will prefer that region. The only place I can suggest to him for d fulfilment of his dream is in the north btw northern niger, west of chad, east of burkina faso, south of libya, morroco and egypt. I can even champion the cause for him... But in central africa, no way...make him go look bush |
i thank u all dat criricised my first comment and more thanks to u gbawe for reaasonin with me... Let me start by saying most people here are graduates of pol.sci but have neva been to a political meetin before even at d zonal level let alone ward. They ar quick to criticise but too busy to make an input. Empty barrels if u ask me... Who is a saint in nigeria today? Only a few yet they criticise. I wonder y a yahoo boi, girl, man, woman or a cultist, or a trader at alaba sellin inferior products at d cost of d original cos e claims his products are original; or a man who will steal his boss*s time come to say one pot is black when e himself is black. If IBB refuses to retire from politics, na u go tel am to step aside? Do u have d guts or such a liver? What i will find an issue is what d APC will do or not do when they to power? Will they hold true to their manifesto? Where will they put d common man in the scheme of things? Will they make unpopular policies or create unpoular programmes to steal public funds? Will they emulate how govs are faring at d state in the centre? Will they implement policies that will drive d economy? For instance, why is Nigerian budget still under fiive trillion naira when the FIRS claims they made a little over five trillion from taxation? What happened to the other incomes generated from other sources? Lets not even talk about oil revenue... IBB said this or that is not an issue. He is a member here or there is not an issue. Is he now ready to embrace change is an issue. |
of the little i konw of politics, "no permanent friend, no permanent enemy". IBB is free to say whatever he wants...like it or not, he is a big force in the north save d anti-pdps and only a few can say no in that north if he says yes and that goes a long way. I criticised the then AC for allowing Audu Ogbe but till date that has not stopped the party from marching on in the southwest as most of us have seen. Does anyone think the ACN would not have made it to the north? Trust me they would but it would only have taken time. ACN was beginnin to find relevance in the east before the merger. The merger has only hasten the process. Otunba Gbenga Daniel started with the AD before he migrated to the pdp only for him to become like them all of a sudden. I am beginnin to think that the PDP is cancerous... If IBB migrates to the APC, will he be relevant? I dare say yes but only as a strategist but never as a political office holder. Its better u ahve him tinker for u than against u. Mind u, political parties are like d church where even d devil cannot be chased away... Does the PDP have a manifesto? Never heard of it. The ACN had one and I heard the new APC has made one... They have a direction. So if none adheres, he b deterred from further participation i think. Let fresh party come for a start and letus c the effect of a none pdp led administration for a stat |
i wonder why men acts like kids in public fora... I wonder what many of u wil do if u were an army strategist. Wen two elephants fight, d grass suffers. Would Ojukwu have done less if e were Nigeria*s head of state? I dare say no. We av lived together 42yrs after d war...what we should b concentratin on is understandin our differences and forgin ahead... Would u gladly show ur sons and daughters d high level of irresponsibility u are displayin on nairaland? Peace |
@ghostofsparta. Check ur mail... |
@bloggingIQ. Well said brother... I have a beautiful concept of how it be done. Ingenuity on his part, others ... |
@ghostofsparta. Send me an email...and i will let u in on my thoughts...it is doable. My add...vawolowo@yahoo.com |
i am thinking about starting a digital terrestrial television service in nigeria...pls my gud ppl, how do i go about this? Thanks |
i searched for ur email on nl but nl made it in an automated process. Send me ur email and i will resend it |
@blyss. If u want to hav it done, u must approach d AU...bt i doubt d possibility. Nigeria for instance refused to allow US build up a military base in neighbouring countries when d efforts to set it up in Nigeria failed. This idea could also be seen as that. no country in my opinion will provide d sort of security u need...they are not even capable of providing security for themselves |
@ghostofsparta. Ur idea is doable...and i love it. I hope u can weather d storm ahead. I sent u a mail. Do reply cos i think i av a step by step process of how it can b done and accepted worldwide. |
i love tot trust people but i dont think i will on this one...blyss could b anything. His tots can b antisocial or for advancement but definitely ill-timed. I think blyss should go to a forum where central africans meet to introduce his tots for a start and let us see... If CAR will accept, i am sure neighbours DRC will not. They will c as americans comin to build a house. U know what happens when devil sells u a house bt retains ownership of d door? E can com and hang a filth of a dead bitch on it. And at that time...u are doomed. I am not sure I have com to a full understandin as to why blyss needs this resettlement...very unneceesary. If e so badly nids relocation, SA is a viable option. Make e no b lyk sey without im & im ppl, naija no go breath |
d idea is ok.., it means they will come with their wealth, xperience et al...but the idea of sovereignity is not possible. And to think that locals will be short out is worse...proud and selfish reasonin I must say. If they really want to have a sense of belongin, gather some brothers, buy a place, build an estate and integrate into the system. U av to accept the people if u are to live in peace. Why would u want to come Africa and treat Africans like third class persons? It cant happen. I feel bad to know ur ancestors were sold mostly by their kings back then but that is no good reason to want to treat africans with disdain? Trust me, its an insult to Africans. You will do well to settle within d structures as it is available now. Nobody will stop you from coming into politics.., u can help make things better |
@mucussey. hello, i love this topic...i am currently working on starting a dtt dvb-t2 distribution service in nigeria. i sent you a mail..d one u used in registering on nairaland..and was hoping u would have replied. pls mail me as soon as yu get this msg...or call me on 08032847508 |
i av soht 2knw d benefits of dis scheme. ppl talk of oportunitis som1 wuld av gotten anyway. y stres ppl 4anoda 12mnts in d name of servin d nation wen u'r nt servin it urself? i say SCRAP D DAMN THING...pay d students off afta graduatin 2stat a life |
We av bin gud frnds. I asked ha out just 2make it formal. Afta a series of great responses, she changed. She nw claims she is angry at mi simply cos we ar very close and i asked ha out. Though anoda guy came in view wen i 1st askd ha bt dat frndship barely lasted 3months. Somhow, we'r stil singlez |
She says she is angry wit me because i am d one that asked her out. We have been very close and i hav liked all these years. She had given mi d greenlight b4 but i dint ask cos i was not ready then. Eventualy i did and she was responding wel. Then all of a sudden, she changed. D problem is she just cant wish me away. I am stil wondering what went wrong. What could it hav been? |
I don tire for all this ibo people wit their unending sentiments... The south/south no join the fight, of course they know sey the ibos will make them second class citizens in their country. With the ibos, there are no coincidences and their leaders are always right. Ojukwu to me is a failure... A lot of u are living in disillusion. And if u think Nigeria will disintegrate, sorry, it won't. Its beta u relocate to burkina sofa... The west and east of germany even break, they are back today... Na w/germany win their three world cups but today, it is germany. Forget about this people and let us build a great naija republic!!!! |
Apparently, d war was a miscalculation on ojukwu's part. He shouldn't have secceded for whatsoever reason cos he should have known a war will break out he did not have the machinery to prosecute it. As for the civilians that died, its a case of when two elephants fight...more so, the so called bianfran army was supplied by the civilians. The war has come and gone...there is no need opening old wounds that is a further threat to the national unity progressives like me seek. Sleeping dogs should allowed sleep pls... |
