portant news!
Appeal to Journalists from Sergey Mavrodi

Dear journalists, “analysts” and all kinds of “experts”!

Please stop using MMM to gain cheap popularity. Leave us alone and let us work without interference. I’m just astonished by your irresponsibility and cynical attitude. Interests of millions of people, your fellow citizens are at stake. Don’t you have any sympathy for them? Why are you fueling hysteria around MMM and provoking a panic? Why are you doing this so diligently and persistently, what is your purpose?

In fact, absolutely all your provocative and worthless articles and “analyses” (I said “worthless” because you do not have any real information about what happens in the System, and might have never had; you simply invent everything, fabricate it) are merely negative: “MMM has collapsed!!!.. MMM will not be working in January!!!..” etc. Are you intentionally presenting all of it in such a manner and whipping up tension by any means possible in order to increase the ratings of your publications and attract attention to them? Don’t you care about people at all?

So, nothing has collapsed, and MMM will safely resume its work in January, as announced. Suspension of work for holidays is a usual thing, merely working moment, no more than that. It would have remained a normal, just a part of the usual routine, and might have gone almost unnoticed if it were not for your totally cynical and irresponsible attempts to advertise yourself, create a scandal out of nowhere, and make the most of this news topic in any possible way.

Again, leave MMM alone and let us work. Nothing has collapsed, and MMM will perfectly resume its work in January. We Can Change the World!

CelebritiesBrad Pitt And Angelina Jolie To Divorce by successismine(op): 4:15pm On Sep 20, 2016
(CNN)One of Hollywood's highest profile marriages is over.

Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from husband Brad Pitt, citing irreconcilable differences.
According to the court documents, the pair separated on September 15, two years and one month after they married in August 2014.
Jolie is seeking physical custody of their six children and asking the court to grant Pitt visitation.

She is also asking to keep "miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects" as well as any earnings from after the date of their separation and other separate assets to be determined later.

Already there is speculation that a tabloid-friendly, child-unfriendly custody battle may ensue over their six children. But a source close to them asserted that both sides want a cordial breakup.
"Other than the fame of the people involved, this is like so many other divorces," the source said.
"I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the wellbeing of our kids," Pitt said Tuesday in a statement to CNN. "I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time."
Jolie's camp is also focused on the children.
"This decision was made for the health of the family," Robert Offer, an attorney for Jolie told CNN in a statement Tuesday. "She will not be commenting at this time, and asks that the family be given their privacy during this difficult time."

While Pitt and Jolie married in 2014, their relationship became the subject of speculation in 2004, when they co-starred in "Mr. & Mrs. Smith." At the time, Pitt was married to actress Jennifer Aniston.
In January 2005, Pitt and Aniston announced they were splitting and Aniston filed for divorce a few months later.
In April 2005, photos surfaced of Pitt, Jolie and her adopted son Maddox in Kenya.
Jolie later adopted daughter Zahara from Ethiopia and in early 2006 she announced that she and Pitt were expecting a baby. Shortly thereafter, Pitt was granted the right to legally adopt Maddox and Zahara.
Their daughter Shiloh was born in May 2006 and son Pax was adopted from Vietnam in March 2007. Jolie gave birth to twins Vivienne and Knox in July 2008.
The couple announced their engagement in 2012.
Pitt was there to support Jolie in 2013 when she underwent a preventive double mastectomy.

Jolie said at the time that she underwent the surgery following the discovery she carried a mutation of the BRCA1 gene which greatly increased her risk for cancer
"My doctors estimated that I had an 87 percent risk of breast cancer and a 50 percent risk of ovarian cancer, although the risk is different in the case of each woman," Jolie wrote in an article for the New York Times. "Once I knew that this was my reality, I decided to be proactive and to minimize the risk as much I could. I made a decision to have a preventive double mastectomy."

In 2014 they were married in a small, private ceremony in a chapel at Château Miraval in the village of Correns.
The following year, Jolie once again made headlines for her health when she had her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed to guard against cancer.

The couple talked to NBC's Tom Brokaw in 2015 about their marriage, her health struggles and working together as they promoted their film "By the Sea."
Jolie also wrote and directed the film about a couple in a troubled marriage. Jolie said the characters' relationship was far from hers and Pitt's.
"I'm counting on the audience to know that if it was close to us at all we could never make this film," Jolie said. "It's because we are actually very, very stable and these aren't our issues."
The pair have also been partners in giving.
Pitt has worked for years to help rebuild New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
Jolie is a United Nations special envoy for refugee issues, a critical topic at the UN General Assembly meeting in New York this week.

PoliticsSoyinka Says Preachers Responsible For Violence In Nigeria by successismine(op): 1:14pm On Sep 04, 2016
Nigeria is currently battling a number of violent groups including the Boko Haram, militants and other agitators

– Professor Wole Soyinka , while speaking at the University of Benin, advised government on the next line of action to take

Nigeria’s Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, has advocated for stiff punishment for religious leaders caught preaching hate messages.
Soyinka, who spoke at the University of Benin, Edo state, attributed the high- scale violence experienced in many parts of the country partly to what people hear from their religious leaders.Daily Trust reports that while delivering a lecture titled: ‘Culture at risk’ at 2nd Eminent Lecture series organised by the university, the litrary icon said some preachers engaged in messages that encourage religious intolerance

According to him, the bombing and killing of innocent citizens in parts of Nigeria are a result of what people have heard from their religious leaders and made to believe.

He said the destruction of mosques, churches, shrines and ancient monuments are all products of religious intolerance in the country. For some years, Nigeria has been battling Boko Haram in the north-eastern part of the country just as Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta states have become the faces of militant activities with the result being destruction of government installations.

In the eastern part of the country, various groups, including the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Movement for the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), have continued with agitation for secession.Soyinka said: “My view is that, we can complain, we can proffer, we can condemn, as much as we want, until those who are guilty, even by curious liability, when a murder is committed are brought to book and made to apologize to the whole nation, and face penalty, such will not stop.”

FoodWatch Out, Fake Alcoholic Drinks In Town – NAFDAC by successismine(op): 8:59am On Aug 24, 2016
The National Agency for Foods and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has alerted Nigerians of the prevalence of fake alcoholic drinks, especially dry in the nation’s markets.
Dr Abubakar Jimoh, its Director, Special Duties, disclosed in Jos on Tuesday that the agency had continued to advise consumers of alcoholic beverages to be alert and be very wary of fake and unregistered drinks.
“Drinking alcohol is bad enough and people are always advised to take it in moderation; so, the danger associated with taking a fake drink can only be imagined,” he said.
Jimoh said that the agency had taken its campaign against fake drinks to Plateau, Gombe, Benue, Bauchi and many other states in north, and had engaged traditional and religious leaders to lead the efforts.
He particularly decried the rampant consumption of drinks like Ogogoro (dry gin) and `goskolo’ by youths, and urged stakeholders to join in the fight “especially since the youths are the group most affected”.
“We have found that the youths rely on such drinks to gather enough courage to commit all manners of atrocities like armed robbery, kidnapping, rape, killing and the rest.
“We have, therefore, continued to intensify our campaigns and that has resulted into some states coming up with bylaws that banned some alcoholic beverages.
“We have also raided production and drinking points of some of these dangerous drinks, especially in Edo and Delta States, because the drinks have damaged many livers, kidneys and other vital organs of the body.
“They have also led to the gradual decline in the health status of many youths and totally destroyed their capacity to contribute to societal development,” he said.
Jimoh said that the drinks issue required special attention, especially now that government was asking Nigerians to go back to the farm in efforts to diversify the economy.
“Farming requires a lot of energy– which is the asset of youths. The drinks destroy that energy, hence the need to rid society of them,” he said.
The NAFDAC official explained that it was usually difficult to distinguish between the fake and genuine drinks because “many producers usually gather empty bottles with NAFDAC-approved badges and pour the fake contents into them.
“Our advice is that the consumers must always be on the watch-out,” he said.
He called for more proactive steps from governors to protect members of the public, and alleged that most governors had always paid lip service to the campaign against fake drugs and drinks.
Jimoh expressed satisfaction over the agency’s achievements in its war against counterfeit drinks and drugs.
“The prevalent rate used to be 16.7 per cent, now we have battled it down to 3.4 per cent and shall never relent in the war.”
PoliticsKerry: Corruption Must Be Tamed by successismine(op): 8:16am On Aug 24, 2016
United States Secretary of State John Kerry yesterday described corruption as a dangerous crime, which must be tamed.
He added that corruption costs the world over $2.6trillion annually.
Kerry spoke at the palace of the Sultan of Sokoto where he delivered a speech titled: “The importance of resilient communities and religious tolerance in countering violent extremism’.’
He said: ‘’ This is money that can be used to improve the living standard and provide decent livelihoods for the people. Corruption is not only a crime, but very dangerous and it must be tamed.’’
The U.S. Secretary of State also acknowledged the efforts of President Muhammadu Buhari to holistically fight corruption, noting that the President was elected on the platform of clean government.
‘’Nigeria is already a regional leader in the fight against corruption. The country‎ is also a role model in the ongoing global efforts to fight corruption,” Kerry said.
He acknowledged Buhari’s efforts to entrench morality, transparency, honesty and good governance in public life, noting that the President is also making efforts to recover all stolen funds.
Kerry stressed the need for the support of the military, other security agencies and the judiciary, among others, to ensure the success of the anti corruption campaign.
He said: ‘’ U.S. is also fully committed to fighting corruption and the entrenchment of good governance globally. One of Nigeria’s strength is diversity of culture and religious tolerance.
‘’ The former leaders of the defunct Sokoto caliphate and others like the late Sir Ahmadu Bello had stood by the virtues of peace, unity and tolerance.”
He acknowledged President Buhari’s bold efforts in fighting insurgency and other crimes across the country, saying: “Boko Haram boasts of no agenda more than to burn schools.
‘’ They also kill and maim people, especially teachers, and it is the opposite of any religion.’’
Kerry also expressed US deep commitment to working with its partners like Nigeria so as to build counter-terrorism capacities. The U.S., he said, has worked out counter-terrorism strategies for implementation globally.
He hailed the Sultan, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, for his efforts to entrench peace, unity and prosperity in Nigeria and beyond.
He also lauded the plan by the Sultanate Council to establish an all-women university, noting that‎ girls, women, children and other vulnerable groups must be educated, given jobs and opportunities to explore their potentials.
Sultan Abubakar praised Kerry for the visit and his ‘’inspiring speech’’, saying: ‘’ This will encourage us to redouble our efforts for a more stronger, united and prosperous Nigeria.
The event was witnessed by Governors Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto and and Abdul’aziz Yari of Zamfara State.
He said the council would continue to promote peaceful coexistence among Nigerians for the overall political growth of the country.
He explained that religious tolerance and understanding among Nigerians remained the principal objective of the Sultanate in mobilising Nigerians to tolerate one another for peace, progress and political stability of the country .
Governor Aminu Tambuwal, who accompanied Kerry to the palace, said the state government would continue to strengthen peaceful coexistence among the people, irrespective of religious, tribal and political differences.
“We don’t discriminate on religious, tribal, ethnic or political affiliations as we accommodate all for peace and harmony, “ he said.
