The Founder of Omoilu Foundation, Senator Buruji Kashamu on sunday 31st,january 2016 at the extended State Executive meeting of the foundation assured executive members of the foundation of his readiness to fulfil all the promises he made to members of the foundation across the 20 local government areas at the inauguration of the state executive committee of the foundation a fortnight ago.

"I invited you all here so that we can deliberate on issues affecting each local government areas and also profer solutions to them. I want you all to sincerely select those that are in needs as beneficiaries of this Zero interest rate micro loan scheme," he said.

The State Coordinator of the foundation, Comrade Niyi Osoba, welcomed representatives of the 20 local governments areas of the state to the stakeholders meeting and went further to invite all of them to present their reports.

"I am glad to welcome you all to the inaugural edition of the extended stakeholders meeting of Omoilu foundation. This platform will afford you all the opportunity to rub minds with the Founder of Omoilu foundation, Senator Kashamu.

"It is also an avenue for the State executive committee to have progress reports from the 20 local governments," he said.

The grand patron of the foundation, Chief Kola Ogunjobi (a.k.a Collindale) urged the stakeholders at the meeting to embark on heavy mobilisation.

"I am appealing to you all to go out there and win more souls for the foundation. Distinguished Senator Buruji Kashamu is ready to empower as many as possible. Senator Kashamu is a blessing to Ogun State and the entire Southwest," Ogunjobi said.

Politics / Omoilu Foundation Picks Hospital Bills by SUCONANA(m): 6:13pm On Jan 28, 2016
OMOILU FOUNDATION PICKS HOSPITAL BILLS

In continuation of its empowerment programme across Ogun State, the Senator Buruji Kashamu-inspired Omoilu Foundation today stormed Sagamu Local Government where it picked the hospital bills of four people – a man and three women. Each of the beneficiaries got between N50, 000 and N100, 000 to pay their respective hospital bills.
They are said to be suffering from various ailments, ranging from cataract to fibroid and broken arm.
The well-attended ceremony, which was hosted by the Sagamu Local Government chapter of the foundation, had in attendance members of the Comrade Niyi Osoba-led state executive council of the Foundation.
In his welcome address, the State Coordinator, Osoba thanked members of the foundation for the impressive turn out.
“I am highly impressed at the turn out here in Sagamu Local Government. I want to assure you all that our Distinguished Senator Buruji Kashamu is a friend of the masses. He will continue to support the masses. My advice for the beneficiaries of today is to use the money for what it is meant,” he said.
The Coordinator of the foundation in Sagamu Local Government Area, Mr Gbenga Salako, said, “If Nigeria has more people like Senator Buruji Kashamu, it would be a better place for all to live.
Those who benefitted from the scheme included Mrs. Fadira Oluwabunmi, Mrs Bukola Shogbesan, Mrs Kehinde Akinsanya and Mr. Bamiji Ayinde.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mrs Akinsanya praised Senator Kashamu for extending the hand of fellowship to them.
“I appreciate Senator Kashamu for this wonderful opportunity. We have suffered a great deal. In the past, when they get to Abuja, they forget the grassroots. Senator Kashamu is different from the rest. He is a complete grassroots man. God will continue to be with him and his family. God gave us Senator Kashamu to ease our sufferings in Ogun State,” she enthused.
Meanwhile, as part of its empowerment programme, the Omoilu Foundation has donated two vehicles – a Toyota Sequoia Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) and a Toyota Corolla salon car – to Otunba Kola Akinyemi (from Sagamu Local Government) and Mrs Idowu Lamina (from Ijebu Ode Local Government).
Senator Kashamu launched the empowerment scheme across the 20 local government areas of Ogun State a fortnight ago at the Ijebu-Igbo headquarters of the Omoilu Foundation, adding that the initiative was in line with his avowed commitment to continue to look for ways of uplifting the masses and the less privileged in the society.
He announced the donation of a bus to each of the 20 office of the foundation across the 20 local government areas, just as he said each of three senatorial chairmen will be given vehicles.
“For all and sundry, we shall continue with our tradition of ‘stomach infrastructure’ and empowerment. Specifically, there shall be heavy distribution of food stuffs and clothing, among other incentives,” Senator Kashamu added.

Politics / Senator Buruji Kashamu Flagged Off Zero Interest Rate Micro Loan Across Ogun by SUCONANA(m): 4:18pm On Jan 25, 2016
All roads lead to Ijebu- igbo the country home of Senator Buruji Kashamu as the Ijebu- Igbo born politician flagged off a zero interest rate micro loan scheme. In attendance were members of OMO ILU FOUNDATION across the 20 local government areas of Ogun State,The PDP governorship candidate in the last governorship election in Ogun State,Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka(GNI) and his UPN counterpat Otunba Rotimi Paseda(ORP),Hon Mojeed Adekoya(Attacker) Pa Kola Ogunjobi(COLINDALE)among others.

While addressing the congregation,Senator Buruji Kashamu once again assured the crowd of his support always:”I will continue to contribute my own quota towards achieving a poverty free Nigeria,Every individual here present is entitled to a 50,000(Fifty thousand Naira)micro loan.I have taken into consideration the present economic hardship we found ourselves in the country, you are to return only 35,000 (Thirty five thousand naira only) from the fifty thousand naira micro loan, the remaining 15,000(Fifteen thousand Naira) is a gift. This Zero interest rate micro loan scheme is geared towards helping the masses,i will always stand by you”.

Senator Buruji Kashamu speaks further:”Three hundread people per ward shall be granted a zero interest rate micro loan of 50,000 naira each,it shall cut across all the 236 wards of Ogun state,6 cars each and 12 motorcycles will also be given out per local government area “
The jubilant crowd could no longer hold thier feelings,The chant of Senator Kashamu’s name rented the air”Olanbiwoninu 1,authority 1,Owo baba Serifatu among other sobriquets were mentioned repeatedly by the jubilant crowd.A micro loan expert Mr Sunday Aderibigbe who is also present at the occasion praised Senator Kashamu’s initiative”This is a big relief to the masses that will benefit from this wonderful programme,Commercial banks will not even grant you this wonderful opportunity not to talk of a micro finance bank, this is a big relief. If others can emulate Senator Buruji Kashamu Poverty will soon be a thing of the past in Nigeria.
When leaders don’t care then leaders don’t lead. They may well possess a leadership title or position but they don’t truly lead. They simply cannot be a caring leader without a caring heart.Senator Buruji Kashamu willingly accept the added challenge of “serving” the people while meeting all the other requirements of leadership.Senator Kashamu have far fewer “people challenges” because his people are committed and not merely compliant. They are committed to SPBK and will go above and beyond for him, often, very often, doing more than is technically required of them. A caring political leader know that no political structure grows unless the people who make up the structure grow first.

It’s not what distinguished leader like Senator Buruji Kashamu do, it’s about the unique way Senator Buruji Kashamu does it and why—the strengths and passions Senator Buruji Kashamu bring to the table.
Senator Buruji Kashamu is no doubt a blessing to the entire southwest race.Kashamu is one of the new set of leaders that is fast emerging in the south-west,In no time, Senator Kashamu will wrestle the mantle of leadership from the ageing Aremo Olusegun Osoba,Ahmed Bola Tinubu and the rest.
If Nigeria had more people like Senator Buruji Kashamu,it would be a more better place to live.

Politics / Another Great Honour For Our Untiring Leader:senator Buruji Kashamu by SUCONANA(m): 2:58pm On Jan 08, 2016
An accomplishments reflects the potential hard work, the confirmation of Senator Buruji Kashamu as a member of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Constitution Review Committee is as a result of his hardwork and total commitment to the success of the peoples democratic party in the southwest. This is a well-earned recognition to a well deserved person.

Senator Buruji Kashamu Coaching leadership style connects people’s personal goals with the political institution‘s goals. A leader using this style is empathic and encouraging, and focuses on developing others for future success, coaching leadership style is key, this is one factor that stands Senator Buruji Kashamu from the crowd.

This style centers on having in-depth conversations with party members that may have little to do with current goals, instead focusing on long-term life goals and how these connect with the party’s mission.

A modern Coaching leader such as Senator Buruji Kashamu clearly define roles and tasks of followers, but seeks their input and suggestions too. Decisions are still made by him(SBK) , but the communication style is truly two-way.

Senator Buruji Kashamu is very effective in setting where performance or results need improvement. SBK help others to advance their skills; Senator Buruji Kashamu build bench strength, and provide a lot of guidance.

Senator Buruji Kashamu coaching leadership styles directs and guides; including providing encouragement and inspiration to help motivate the followers. SBK create a positive workplace environment; followers know exactly what’s expected of them, and they understand the overall strategy of the PARTY.

Senator Buruji Kashamu modern coaching leadership styles has a positive impact on his followers, because it’s motivating, and it establishes rapport and trust, this was evident in the last national assembly election in Ogun east as Senator Kashamu was massively voted for by the electorates..

Many leaders are competent, few qualify as remarkable,Senator Buruji Kashamu is one of the few remarkable ones.

If Nigeria had more political leaders with visionary leadership styles like Senator Buruji Kashamu,It would be a more better place to live.

Congratulations to the untiring supreme leader of our great party(PDP)in Ogun State.

Politics / Senator Buruji Kashamu Scores Again by SUCONANA(m): 2:58pm On Jan 06, 2016
A vision is no use on its own: it needs to become reality. However, many leaders make the mistake of developing a vision, but of not putting in the hard and often mundane work of delivering it.
In managing the delivery of his vision, Senator Buruji Kashamu combine effective project management with sensitive change management. This help Senator Buruji Kashamu deliver the changes he need with the full support of his people. Communicate each person’s roles and responsibilities clearly, and connect these to his plans.

Senator Buruji Kashamu build his self-discipline, so that he do not let himself down. And, set a good example to his people – especially if they’re affected by delays or difficulties – by being a model of hard work and persistence. This was evident at the last general elections as Senator Kashamu single handedly delivered Ogun east to the peoples democratic party,at a time the peoples democratic party performed woefully in the entire southwest.
Prince Kashamu is a transformational leader. he sets high expectations, but “walks the walk” to demonstrate the standards that he expect.Senator Kashamu in the process of developing a vision for his team, start with the party’s mission and vision, and explore the ways in which his team can contribute directly to it.
Senator Buruji Kashamu is a transformational leader who knows that nothing significant happens unless he encourage his people.

SBK ensures that he knows about the different kinds of motivation and use these to inspire his people to deliver their best. One Alhaji Mayowa Oyederu from Sagamu ward 11 was yesterday presented with a TOYOTA COROLLA CAR 2012 MODEL by Senator Buruji Kashamu. The HONDA car that was formerly given to Alhaji Mayowa Oyederu as a gift by a serving MHR(Remo federal constituency) was reportedly recouped from Alhaji Mayowa oyederu yesterday(jan 5, 2016)Otunba Kola Akinyemi from the same Sagamu local government and Mrs Lamina from Ijebu Ode local government also benefited from Senator Kashamu’s philantrophic gesture as they also smiled home with a Toyota JEEP and a TOYOTA COROLLA CAR respectively.

Senator Kashamu appeal to his people’s values , and inspire them with where he is going to lead them, and why.
On this note,i want to say congratulations to Alhaji Mayowa Oyederu(Ward 11 in Sagamu)This is a classic case of “ILE OBA TOJO,EWA LOBU SI”.General Kollington Ayinla was once in this same situation when his Alagbado home was raised down by inferno(a large fire that is dangerously out of control),Today,General Kollington own one of the best mansion among the big players in the fuji music industry.
Everyone respects senator Buruji Kashamu. His team members are fiercely loyal, and they’re highly successful as individuals, and as a team.
If Nigeria had more people like senator Buruji Kashamu,it would be a more better place to live.

Politics / Senator Buruji Kashamu:leadership Par Excellence by SUCONANA(m): 4:40pm On Dec 22, 2015
By Oyejide Sunkanmi

Essentially, I found that a few of the most successful Nigerian states such as Lagos,Akwa Ibom State and few others are led by prominent leaders.Babatunde Raji Fashola and Godswill Akpabio’s contributions to their respective states will for ever be remembered
Babatunde Raji Fashola Brillant ideas contributed immensely to the development of Lagos State,Lagosians will always credit BRF for the selfless services he rendered while in office. The people of Akwa Ibom State will also have Godswill Akpabio to thank for making Uyo a place to be,the story of a modern Akwa-Ibom state will not be complete without mentioning Godswill Akpabio as the lead actor.
The Ogun east senatorial district is on the verge of greatness with the emergence of Senator Buruji Kashamu as the Senator representing the Zone.Prince Kashamu is a leader that will take personal responsibility just to ensure everything is fine.
Strong leaders are humble, they leave their egos at the door and this is exactly what we have in Senator Kashamu,Prince Kashamu is such a rear leader that will award credit when credit is due.Good leaders acknowledge their team members.A good example was when the appeal court judgement that upturned the strange verdict of the Ogun state election tribunal was delivered,Senator Kashamu was humble in his speech after the judgement.Prince Kashamu said “I salute the good people of Ogun East Senatorial District who overwhelmingly gave me their mandate. I thank my party leaders, elders, associates and supporters, for standing by me all through the litigation. I thank my legal team, the media, clerics, the youths, students, artisans, okada riders, market men and women, for their best wishes, prayers and support.
“I promised them quality representation. We have begun the journey and there is no going back. We are committed to making a difference in and out of politics. I wish to appeal to my younger brother and friend, Mr. Dapo Abiodun, not to see himself as my opponent. Rather, he should join hands with me to take our senatorial district to greater heights. There is no victor, no vanquished.
“It was an electoral contest and someone was bound to be elected. This time, it has pleased the Almighty Allah to use the good people of Ogun East Senatorial District to give me their mandate. Next time, it could go to anyone else.”.
If leaders can pay attention to the humanity of others and show that they actually care, they will yield immeasurable benefits for both themselves and their followers. That’s what being a better leader is all about, and this is one of the traits that stand Senator Buruji Kashamu out from the crowd.
Ogun east in no time will be a place to be.
Ride on the peoples senator.

Politics / When The Floodlights Fade:otunba Gbenga Daniel by SUCONANA(m): 3:53pm On Dec 14, 2015
Adesemowo Tolu

Otunba Gbenga Daniel was months ago appointed the chairman board of governing council of the Federal University of Technology, Gombe.

The appointment appears to OGD’s supporters as a welcome development, they consider it as a reward for the excellent services OGD rendered to the party in the last 15 years.

On a personal ground, I consider this appointment shameful. We are talking about a man who is currently the longest serving PDP governor in the southwest, a once dreaded lion of Judah…I mean lion of the southwest. There are other juicy appointments out there, what I do not understand is why this very one?

FACTORS THAT MIGHT BE RESPONSIBLE.

OGD inconsistency is one factor I consider might be working against him. OGD made a great mistake opting out of the PDP alongside his supporters for the PPN in 2011. The PPN performed woefully in the general elections held in 2011, coming a distant third behind the eventual winner, Amosun and little known Olurin of the PDP. The result of the 2011 general elections must have exposed OGD political weakness and the total collapse of his political empire. The self acclaimed lion of the southwest politics, in his desperate bid to regain his lost political relevance, also moved his machinery to the labour party. One thing led to another and the embattled former governor was on the move again, this time around he returned back to eat his vomit as he declared for the Peoples Democratic Party again.

On arrival in the Peoples Democratic Party, OGD unfortunately found it difficult to penetrate. Prince Buruji Kashamu, who is now a senator elect, was fully in charge of the day to day running of the party affairs. Former president Goodluck Jonathan hardly takes a decision in the southwest without consulting with Buruji.

OGD lost out in the PDP senatorial primary election to Prince Buruji Kashamu, this development further exposed the self acclaimed Lion of the southwest as a political weakling. Prince Kashamu faction completely swept aside any form of Opposition from the OGD camp.

What could have happened to the once dreaded lion of the west? What could have been responsible for the downfall of OGD? These and many other questions are being asked.

Just like I said earlier, OGD inconsistency played a major role in his downfall. The idea of decamping to the PPN and later the Labour Party was a wrong move. His politics of convenience and betrayal gives him away as a man without principles, loyalty and character. Like they say, a man who can not stand for something will fall for anything. Political leadership requires men that can swim and sink with a political philosophy and not the fair weather politicians.

A living dog is better than a dead lion. What else can OGD bring to the table in this new political dispensation with a crumbled and scrapped political machinery? His likes belong to the yesteryears. His best days in politics are without a doubt behind him. It is obvious the lion is now a political minnow without a streak of any fear factor. The jungle no longer belongs to the lion.

Daniel appointment as the chairman of the governing council of one of the federal universities by the the former president Goodluck Jonathan, further confirmed his irrelevance on the political scene. He has been pushed into an arena where his voice can hardly be heard. His voice hasn’t brought any electoral fortune anyway and there isn’t any need for more. Let us hope that in intermingling with the academics, OGD can learn how to stand firm on a sound moral and political philosophy without gallivanting and crisscrossing the political space without any moral code.

It is obvious and clearly written on the wall that the lion is tired. “Erin ti subu ko le dide”.

Politics / Court Bars AGF, NDLEA From Seizing Kashamu’s Properties by SUCONANA(m): 6:37pm On Dec 01, 2015
The Federal High Court in Lagos on Tuesday restrained the Federal Government from seizing Senator Buruji Kashamu’s properties over drug trafficking allegations.
Justice Ibrahim Buba held that it would amount to abuse of powers for the respondents to infringe on Kashamu’s property rights without following due process.
The judge, therefore, barred the Attorney-General of the Federation Abubakar Malami (SAN) and the National Drug Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) from violating the senator’s rights to own property.
Kashamu sought an order of perpetual injunction restraining NDLEA and the AGF from taking possession of his assets.
The Senator said he learnt of moves by agents of the Federal Government to seize his properties, including a 24-flat housing estate at Egbe and several hectares of land on Lekki Peninsula, Lagos.
According to him, he acquired the properties, which he said worth N20billion, by dint of hard work and through his legitimate business.
He said contrary to NDLEA’s alleged claim, the properties were not proceeds of drug trafficking.
The Senator said his right to own property as guaranteed by sections 43 and 44 of the 1999 Constitution would be breached if the respondents were not perpetually restrained.
Ruling in his favour, Justice Buba held that since previous judgments stopping Kashamu’s extradition had not been discharged or vacated, the prosecution could not take steps against him when the restraining orders were still subsisting.
He said the prosecution was bound to obey the orders until set aside by the Court of Appeal.
“The judgments of this court are binding on the parties and on this court until set aside on appeal,” he held.
Justice Buba said the Federal Government cannot seize Kashamu’s assets on the basis of the same allegations that had been decided upon by the court “whether rightly or wrongly.”

Politics / Kashamu: CJN Asks Appeal Court President To Probe Ogun Election Tribunal by SUCONANA(m): 1:04pm On Nov 30, 2015
The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mahmud Mohammed, has directed the Appeal Court President Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa to investigate the conduct of the Ogun State National Assembly Elections Petition Tribunal under the chairmanship of Justice Ebiowei Tobi.

This was contained in a letter dated November 19, 2015 with reference number NJC/ETD /B60/S.1/X1/955 by the Chief Justice to the Appeal Court president

This follows a petition written by the senator representing Ogun East at the National Assembly, Prince Buruji Kashamu, alleging miscarriage of justice in the case instituted against his election by Mr. Dapo Abiodun, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the March 28, 2015 National assembly election.

The CJN writes in the letter, “I forward herewith a petition dated 29th October, 2015 by Senator Buruji Kashamu against the Ogun State National Assembly Elections Petitions Tribunal under the chairmanship of Hon. Justice Ebiowei Tobi for your necessary actions, please.”

In the petition, Senator Kashamu had said, “Upon receiving the certified true copy of the judgment after it was delivered, I found, to my utmost surprise, that the tribunal members ignored the facts of the case before them and descended into the arena.

“A careful perusal of the judgment vis-à-vis the pleadings of the petitioners showed that 91 out of the 110 polling units that the tribunal nullified were not even pleaded by the petitioners let alone evidence being led to them!

“Upon a study of the judgment, I discovered that the tribunal in a desperate attempt to assist the APC cancelled the result of 110 polling units many of which were not part of the polling units challenged by APC. Had the APC complained about these polling units in their petition, my lawyers would have been in a position to provide evidence in respect of those polling units.

“I was shocked because I am aware that the tribunal has no power to cancel polling units, which were not challenged in the petition before it.

“I was however more shocked when I discovered that the entries that the tribunal used in the judgment as the basis for its decision that there were irregularities and discrepancy in the scores of the parties in the INEC FORMS EC8A (II) and EC8B (II) did not emanate from the result sheets and voters registers submitted to the tribunal in evidence.”

Senator Kashamu, who expressed his confidence in the anti-corruption stance of the CJN, said he wrote to lodge the complaint about the conduct of the members of the tribunal and to request that the CJN use his good offices to carry out a thorough investigation of the matter and to ensure that anyone found culpable was prosecuted.

Politics / How APC 'bought' Judgment Against Kashamu, By PDP -says N150m Budgeted To 'buy' by SUCONANA(m): 5:52pm On Nov 22, 2015
How APC 'Bought' Judgment Against Kashamu, by PDP
-Says N150m budgeted to 'buy' appeal court judges

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District, Prince Buruji Kashamu have petitioned the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa demanding the disbandment of the Ogun State Court of Appeal Panel sitting in Ibadan over allegations of inducement, influence peddling and pervasion of justice.

In two separate petitions to the President of the Court of Appeal, the PDP and Kashamu alleged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) had through a Senior Advocate of Nigeria compromised the members of the Appeal Panel empanelled to entertain appeals arising from the outcomes of the National Assembly and States Assemblies Elections petitions in Ogun State.

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had accused the ruling All Progressives' Congress (APC) of influencing a recent judgement of the Ogun State Elections Petition Tribunal ordering a re-run of elections in several constituencies in the state.

The PDP pointedly accused  APC of channelling N150 million through a senior lawyer from a North Eastern part of the country to help it get a "favourable" judgement in the Court of Appeal, even as the party asked for a disbandment of the Appeal panel.

The allegations were raised in separate petitions to the President, Court of Appeal by the PDP, and Senator representing Ogun East, Buruji Kashamu.

In the letter dated November 18, 2015, and signed by PDP secretary in Ogun State Alhaji Semiu Shodipo‎, the party faulted the decision of the tribunal in ordering fresh elections in certain wards even when APC didn't make such prayers.

Titled "Compromise of Ibadan Election Petitions Appeal Panel by the APC for Ogun State Election Petitions," the ‎PDP blamed the loss of its candidates at the Elections tribunal on the fact that it toyed with reports on the unholy alliance between some APC chieftains and the tribunal panellists.

According to the PDP secretary, the "allegations of compromise of the trial Tribunal members by the APC candidates...led to petitions submitted to the National Judicial Council against the said Tribunal members. This petition is however written to seek your Lordships intervention in respect of the appearance of a clear likelihood of bias on the part of the Justices of the Court of Appeal empanelled to sit as the Elections Petitions Appeal Tribunal (at the Court of Appeal, Ibadan) in respect of appeals from the judgment of the Ogun State trial Tribunal," wrote the PDP scribe.

He continued, "This intervention is required for the reconstitution of the said panel because of the close relationship of one of the counsel of the APC candidates and the Senior Advocate of Nigeria to at least two of the said Justices; which relationship the APC candidates have boasted is to be used to compromise the said justices to order the return of the APC candidates or to uphold the decision of the Tribunal for reruns of all the elections. It has been boasted to my hearing by one of the APC candidates that the sum of 150 million Naira was paid to (names withheld) to ensure that the result of the appeals filed to the said panel end in favour of the APC candidates.

The petition recalled how a certain Dapo Abiodun, APC's senatorial candidate, had before the tribunal delivered judgment, publicly boasted that his party had a deal with some judges to upturn PDP's victory.

"Our suspicion was heightened when by Thursday 8th of October the leadership of the party distributed branded t-shirts to members of the APC and they had bought cows and were making merriment in celebration of their anticipated victory even before the reading of the judgment of the tribunal," lamented the PDP scribe.

More shocking, said the scribe, was "that the entries that the tribunal used in the judgment as the basis for its decision that there were irregularities and discrepancy in the scores of the parties in the INEC FORMS EC8A (II) and EC8B (II) did not emanate from the result sheets and voters registers submitted to the tribunal in evidence.

"My Lord, if it has been established that 91 out of the 110 polling units cancelled were not challenged by the petitioners, where did the tribunal get the evidence it used in nullifying the result of the election in those places? " posed PDP.

"It is in the above circumstances that we humbly request that you intervene and save us from a situation that could occasion a miscarriage of justice by reconstituting the panel in such a way that its independence and impartiality may be guaranteed," declared PDP.

Senator Kashamu had in his own petition noted that on the day the tribunal delivered the judgment, Justice Tobi took about 15minutes to address the counsel and litigants about the issues of corruption of the tribunal which was rife in the state. He admonished parties not to fight but accept the judgment in good faith. He said although he and his colleagues did not collect any money from anyone to do his/her bidding, the money should choke them if they did.
However, upon receiving the certified true copy of the judgment after it was delivered, I found, to my utmost surprise that the tribunal ignored the facts of the case before them and descended into the arena.

A careful perusal of the judgement vis-à-vis the pleadings of the petitioners showed that 91 out of 110 polling units that the tribunal nullified were not even pleaded by the petitioners let alone evidence being led to them. Upon the study of the judgement, I discovered that the tribunal in a desperate attempt to assist the APC, cancelled the result of 110 polling units that the tribunal nullified were not even pleaded by the petitioners let alone evidence being led to them. Had the APC complained about these polling units in their petition, my lawyers would have been in a position to provide evidence in respect of those polling units.

My lord, if from the foregoing, it has been established that 91 out of 110 polling units cancelled were not challenged by the petitioners, where did the tribunal get the evidence it used in nullifying the result of the election in those places? That is the crux of the matter.

The tribunal enormously directed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct a fresh election in the affected polling unit where the result of election were cancelled. What is more, after cancelling/voiding of votes which the Tribunal found were not lawful votes, it awarded 70,077 votes to Dapo Abiodun and gave me 75,856. I still led my opponent by 5,179 votes, yet it failed to affirm my victory. This is the more reason it is imperative that the allegation of miscarriage of justice is investigated and its veracity or otherwise of the claim is established.

Senator Kashamu further said that I am of the firm belief that the conduct of the members of the tribunal with respect to its barefaced pervasion of justice under reference should be investigated by the chairman of the National judicial Council so that truth and justice prevail in the end.

Politics / The Supreme Court And The Mob Hysteria by SUCONANA(m): 9:01am On Nov 18, 2015
A clearly orchestrated tirade against the Supreme Court of Nigeria in respect of its acceptance of an undertaking by the counsel to the Respondent in the Saraki Appeal has come to my attention following two days of consistent bashing of the Court for daring to do the unthinkable by scuttling the politically motivated stampede to remove Bukola Saraki from his position as Senate President through a wholly unconstitutional trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

Concerning my submission that the Code of Conduct Tribunal’s trial of Bukola Sraki is unconstitutional I will address that in another forum. For now I wish to respond to the clearly misconceived notion that the Administration of Criminal Justice Act can be used to oust the power of the courts to grant stay of proceedings in criminal trials.

The issue as formulated by the leader of the charge goes as follows:
“It is unfathomable that the Supreme Court decided to return the country to the status quo ante in a rather brazen and bizzare manner. Given the ouster clause contained in section 306 of the AJCS(sic), the Code of Conduct Tribunal ought not to have delivered its ruling in respect of the preliminary objections filed by Dr. Saraki” –Femi Falana (SAN)

Highly respected Professor Itse Sagay (SAN) was also quoted by the media as having said that “The new Administration of Criminal Justice Act has completely eliminated any application or grant of stay of actions or proceedings in criminal trials; it prohibits it. So, what the Supreme Court has done is illegal and it is shocking that the Supreme Court would indulge in illegalities”.

Both eminent lawyers are intolerably wrong and thus give the impression that their per incuriam opinions could only have been motivated by prejudice and not by their well known life long struggle for the public good.

Indeed the manner in which their respected opinions have rabble-roused a surge of public opinion against the apex court in respect of an issue which is still sub-judice smacks, in my humble opinion, of criminal contempt..

It is in this context that I join issues with them on the matter as follows:

Section 306 of the ACJA is unconstitutional null and void in so far as it seeks to limit the exercise of judicial powers vested in the courts by section 6 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 as amended.
Ayoola JCA (as he then was) in NNPC V Fawehinmi [1998] 7NWLR (PART 559) 598 at 612E-H echoed an age old principle of separation of powers when he said “Other than in consonance with the constitution itself, legislative provisions which preclude the judiciary from exercising judicial powers violate the separation of powers principle enshrined in section 6 of the Constitution”
Relying on the above dictum Omoleye JCA in Njikoye V MTN [2008] 9 NWLR (part 1092) 339 at 369 F-H also stated that “..the courts would disregard any statute that seeks to regulate and obliterate their judicial powers conferred on them by the express provisions of the Constitution, the supreme and grund norm iof Nigeria. ….. An enactment will therefore be considered opposed to the constitutional provisions vesting judicial powers in a court if: it … purported to remove judicial powers vested in the court or redefine it in a way as to whittle it or limit the extent of the power vested or conferred on the court by the Constitution.”
What this means is that no legislature in Nigeria has the power to enact legislation that limits the exercise of judicial power or (as Falana states in his submission) constitute an “ouster clause”.
With regard to ouster clauses (although I do not agree that section 306 is one) Section 4(cool of the Constitution expressly forbids it and disempowers the legislature from making any such law.
To do so the legislature would have to amend the Constitution and that procedure is not the same as the mere passing of a bill into law as was done with the ACJA.
It is therefore more strange and bizarre that any lawyer would castigate the apex court or any court for that matter for ignoring the so called “ouster clause” constituted by Section 306 of the ACJA especially as it expressly conflicts with the powers donated to the judiciary by the constitution, part of which is the power to order stay of any proceedings.
In this regard the Fundamental Rights Enforcement Procedure Rules 2009 expressly provide in Order 4 Rule 4(iv) that the Civil Rights Court may “Grant injunction restraining the Respondent from taking further steps in connection with the matter or maintaining status quo or staying all actions pending the determination of [a Fundamental Rights] Application”
In Order XI of the same rules it is provided that the Civil Rights Court may “At the hearing of any [fundamental right]s application, under these rules, …. Make such orders, issue such writs and give such directions as it may consider just or appropriate for the purpose of enforcing or securing the enforcement of any of the Fundamental Rights provided for in the Constitution or African Charter on Human and Peoples Rights (Ratification and Enforcement) Act to which the applicant may be entitled”
Katsina Alu JCA (as he then was) in the case of Abia State University V Anyaibe [1996] 3 NWLR (PART 439) 646 at 661 E-F said of the Fundamental Rights Enforcement Procedure Rules as follows: “Since the Rules have the force of law as the Constitution itself, it overrides the provisions of any other enactment which seeks to provide ‘an alternative’”
Therefore in my humble submission it is erroneous for anyone to state that it is illegal to grant a stay of proceedings in criminal proceedings.
The criminal court may ignore the provisions of section 306 in so far as it limits its ability to do justice in any worthy case and certainly an appellate court that perceives that something is wrong with any criminal proceedings may order its stay not withstanding the provisions of section 306 o0f the ACJA and if it becomes an issue may infact set aside the section as invalid null and void.
Furthermore a Civil Rights court before whom a complaint is made that a criminal proceedings infringes on any of the fundamental righst in chapter iv of the Constitution certainly has the power donated expressly by the constitution to intervene and the provisions of section 306 of the ACJA would not be of any moment in that circumstance given the superiority of the Constitution to the ACJA.

Care must be taken by the Buhari Government and its advisers not to end up reducing the judiciary to irrelevance under the cover of this “war against corruption”.
Whereas everyone agrees that it is necessary to root out the plague of corruption from this country the method by which that is to be done must not be at the expense of the integrity of the institutions of democracy. The idea to limit the power of the courts to grant stay of proceedings in criminal trials is apparently rooted in the perception that judges cannot be trusted to do the right thing in Nigeria because of corruption this cannot be the appropriate way to root out the corruption in the judiciary. It is equivalent to enacting a law forbidding the President from approving expenditure because we believe that politicians are corrupt. That would only bring governance to a halt. The hue and cry about the efficacy of section 306 today is because those who favour it are not themselves judges. If they were, they probably would frown on a law that already labels them as incompetent to rightly exercise discretion or corrupt before they had a chance to show their mettle.
It must be borne in mind that the fight against corruption is a worldwide fight as evidenced by the United Nations Convention against Corruption 2003 and the ECOWAS protocol on the fight against corruption 1993 both of which Nigeria is signatory to. The methods are stated in those conventions and they include a strengthening of the institutions of democracy and not the whittling down of their efficacy, authority or powers. I wonder why Nigeria’s case is always negatively different.
Furthermore abuse of office and the illegal instigation of criminal processes are required by Articles 17 and 25 of the UN Convention to be criminalized by signatories as corrupt practices. If the Supreme Court perceives that the criminal proceedings against Senator Saraki might have been improperly instigated for any reason it is obliged to join in the fight against corruption by stopping it completely and to this end may properly stay proceedings until it is satisfied that its perception is wrong.
I congratulate the Supreme Court for braving the mob hysteria which appears to be the hallmark of this new fight against corruption to do the right thing.

Politics / Senator Buruji Kashamu: A Leader Who Walk The Talk by SUCONANA(m): 8:14am On Nov 18, 2015
By Adeyemi Juwon
Among all the core traits most essential in a leader, CREDIBILITY is widely considered the foundation of great leadership. Here are some of the leadership qualities that single out Senator Buruji Kashamu and place him among great political scholars and leaders with great repute.
COMMITMENT. In this present political circle, while some leaders often commit to things they don’t mean or act in a manner that is inconsistent with what they say – SBK always stand out by demonstrating great commitment to any political assignment or any humanitarian needs in the society. He(SPBK) daily demonstrates great qualities, ensures a smooth and excellent advice is provided when there is any absence of qualitative direction within his political family. He proffers an excellent lead way to get the required result and he doesn’t just show the way, he leads the way.
HAPPINESS FOR ALL. There are times a leader is faced with an unrealistic expectation of keeping all the stakeholders happy. Sometimes this can be an impossible task but in the case of SBK, he is always on point and derives pleasure in keeping the political family as well as his supporters happy with or without external support.
SOURCE OF INSPIRATION. SBK is a leader that inspires thousands of people to exceed their potentials and push themselves to greater heights. He encourages them to display authenticity, no matter how tempting or intimidating it is to say things that are either not true or cannot be fulfilled.
BEING ORIGINAL. It is important to remember that people always trust and follow those who are “REAL” in their actions and words. SBK is a real leader with a perfect self-esteem.
TRUST. Great leader like SBK always understand the importance of trust in leadership. This can only be maintained if other leaders of today in Ogun State PDP and the nation in general “WALK THE TALK” by:
1. Not making commitments and promises that cannot be met;
2 .Always putting the interest of the masses and your political party on higher priority over self-interest;
3.Willing to communicate in an open, honest and transparent manner, not just as required but proactively;
4. Owning up when things don’t go as planned rather than blame someone else;
Not taking short-cut or manipulate others to get to an end.
5.In essence, SBK always live by his words and actions. He strives to be honest to everyone and state the facts to its supporters, political party as well as other political leaders. He makes every effort to live up to the qualities of a leader.
In other words, “if you are going to talk the talk, you’ve got to walk the walk”
Senator Buruji Kashamu (Olambiwoninu 1) is a Role model of evidence-base care and Philanthropy!!!

Supreme Court ruling on Saraki appropriate, lawyer tells Falana, Sagay

A counsel to the Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki, Prince Ajibola Oluyede, has faulted the tirade of condemnation that trailed ruling of the Supreme Court over the trial of the senate president at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, stating that notions are clearly misconceived.

Making the disclosure through a statement titled, ‘The Supreme Court and the mob hysteria’, Oluyede, who made a particular reference to comments credited to Mr. Femi Falana (SAN) and Professor Itse Sagay (SAN), noted that the perception of the eminent lawyers on the ruling were wrong.

Falana was quoted to have said, “It is unfathomable that the Supreme Court decided to return the country to the status quo ante in a rather brazen and bizzare manner”, while Sagay in his opinion noted that, “what the Supreme Court has done is illegal and it is shocking that the Supreme Court would indulge in illegalities”.

According to Oluyede, “the orchestrated tirade against the Supreme Court of Nigeria in respect of daring to do the unthinkable by scuttling the politically motivated stampede to remove Bukola Saraki from his position as Senate President through a wholly unconstitutional trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal is understandable.

“Both eminent lawyers are intolerably wrong and thus give the impression that their per incuriam opinions could only have been motivated by prejudice and not by their well known life long struggle for the public good.”

While noting that those raising the issue against the ruling of the apex court in respect of an issue which is still sub-judice, smacks criminal contempt, he added that it is erroneous for anyone to state that it is illegal to grant a stay of proceedings in criminal proceedings.

“If the Supreme Court perceives that the criminal proceedings against Senator Saraki might have been improperly instigated for any reason it is obliged to join in the fight against corruption by stopping it completely and to this end may properly stay proceedings until it is satisfied that its perception is wrong.”

Lauding the fight against corruption in the country, Oluyede, however, noted that the idea to limit the power of the courts to grant stay of proceedings in criminal trials is not the appropriate way to root out the corruption in the judiciary, adding that the method must not be at the expense of the integrity of the institutions of democracy.

SENATOR BURUJI KASHAMU's PHILANTHROPIC GESTURE: A DIVINE CALL TO SERVE HUMANITY.

By-Sholanke Yomi

Giving is an attribute only the great at heart get involved. The mere knowing that, your financial base is depleting as a result of continual donation and show of clemency to the less privileged; would send fear to the spines of such individual. But the truth is, no genuine giver ever become a beggar. The Almighty God Himself replenishes the treasury of such fellow.

Senator Buruji Kashamu philanthropic gesture is second to none, especially going by the rates at which he daily showers his hard earned wealth on the masses without blinking an eye or ever thought of expecting anything in return. This is the more reason why, the Almighty God continually bless all the works of his hand and he believe in the word of the Holy Bible which says "GIVERS SHALL NEVER LACK".

He however does this with the fear of God in His heart and his actions are solely driven by the divine call to serve humanity. He is genuinely out to selfless serve the human race.

Politics / Senator Kashamu Replies Alani Bankole. by SUCONANA(m): 8:00pm On Nov 09, 2015
In response to Pa Alani Bankole's statement and OGD's response, my version is as follows:
I cherish Baba Bankole and his son, Dimeji Bankole. He is a young, intelligent, educated, lucky, and God fearing individual whom God loves. Given all these and after so much persuasion by Hon Salako, I decided to support him and eventually spoke to him. We were to meet at Hilton Hotel in Abuja in the afternoon and he called me several times but could not get through. But, later in the evening, I spoke to him and told him I would come and see him since we could not see during the day. I met him at his place with my daughter, Bukky and my nephew, Taiwo Shote. What his father said about position sharing is the truth. Taking into account the fact that Dimeji has his own group together with Baba Kuye's group while I was at the other side with the other group, it is normal for everyone to protect their group. But I told him that my discussion with him was subject to the approval of the elders and leaders. We agreed that it was imperative for his father, Baba Bankole to meet all the elders and leaders from my side and from OGD's side to discuss. Dimeji did not wait for that. I then learnt that Hon.Salako and Baba Kuye's group had decided to adopt Hon. Dimeji as their candidate in iperu. That same day, I hurriedly called him not to do that because it will send the wrong signal and it was better to let his father meet the elders and leaders before we all join hands to adopt him. He immediately responded, saying I was not in a position to tell him when to make a move and when to be declared. Of course, I responded saying that it was contrary to our earlier discussion. Naturally, this resulted into a misunderstanding between us and I backed out. The rest became a serious fight as the problem of delegates, presidency, party structure eventually led to litigation. The full details of all these will be better explained in future. OGD's side of the story is false. I took him as a leader and in order to prove that I was ready for all of us to work together, I paid him visits four different times at his Lagos, Sagamu and Ijebu Ode residences where I proposed he picked the governorship candidate and my group will choose the deputy. He proposed GNI, which was accepted by me and the people of YEWA immediately. OGD also gave me the names of House of Representatives candidates and we picked about seven who were from LP. Discussion about the Senate did not come up till later. I believe if OGD is calculative and an expert at winning elections, then the fact that I even agreed with the elders and leaders to use GNI and seven of his people for House of Representatives, he could have handled the situation with maturity and in an honest manner in order to unite everyone, reposition things, ensure transparency in the use of the party's funds, transformers and vehicles, maybe we would have won the election. It is true that I wrote GNI thrice because when I say yes or commit myself, I do not know how to go back and say no. That's all I would say for now. If there is need for more explanation and clarification, I will speak.

Politics / Asset Declaration: Saraki Seeks Enforcement Of Rights At Abuja Court by SUCONANA(m): 10:55pm On Nov 06, 2015
Asset Declaration: Saraki seeks enforcement of rights at Abuja Court

Sequel to the ruling of a Federal High Court in Lagos that it has no jurisdiction to entertain a suit by Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, seeking the enforcement of his fundamental human rights, the nation's number three citizen, has approached a Federal High Court Abuja to rule on the suit.

In a suit file on Friday by Saraki's counsel,  Prince Ajibola Oluyede, the Senate President is urging the court to grant him seven reliefs especially as it relates to the enforcement of his fundamental human rights in the ongoing Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) he is currently facing.
Joined as respondents in the suit are the Attorney General of the Federation, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Inspector General of Police, Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC), Code of Conduct Bureau and the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

Other respondents named in the suit with the number FHC/ABJ/CS/905/2015, are Justice Danladi Umar, Messrs. Ataedze Agu Adza, Sam Saba, Mohammed Diri and M.S. Hassan.
While urging the Court to declare the on-going arraignment and trial of Saraki before the Code of Conduct Tribunal as falling short of the requirement of Article 3 of the African Charter on Human and Peoples Right, the suit also stated there is an apparent pursuit of a pre-determined agenda for the humiliation and conviction of the Senate President.
Part of the suit also seeks the declaration of the court that any further invitation, arrest, harassment, persecution or prosecution of the Applicant by or before any of the respondents as a breach of the Applicant's fundamental rights to a fair hearing within a reasonable time.
Oluyede also compelled the Court to issue an order restraining the AGF and CCB from inviting, arresting or prosecuting Saraki on the basis of any allegation of wrongdoing arising before or from his tenure as Governor of Kwara State between 2003 and 2011.
No date has been fixed for the hearing of the suit.

Politics / Senator Buruji Kashamu:A Modern Political Coaching Leader Of Note. by SUCONANA(m): 3:27pm On Nov 05, 2015
SENATOR BURUJI KASHAMU:A MODERN POLITICAL COACHING LEADER OF NOTE.

The Coaching leadership style connects people's personal goals with the political institution's goals. A leader using this style is empathic and encouraging, and focuses on developing others for future success.

This style centers on having in-depth conversations with party members that may have little to do with current goals, instead focusing on long-term life goals and how these connect with the party's mission.

Politics / Senator Buruji Kashamu Speaks; by SUCONANA(m): 1:53pm On Nov 03, 2015
Good morning everyone, my elders,leaders, members and followers. OGD and his cronies, Segun Seriki, Titi Oseni, and Doyin Okupe should be asked what happened to the following items and money that were handed to them in Abuja in order to work with the state executive of the party and distribute them to various areas in Ogun State. I believe those items were sold in Lagos and the money was shared among them. They are as follows;

1) One hundred (100) transformers which each cost about 3 million.

2) 10 brand new vehicles.

3) Cash of N100 million.

Please ask where is their loyalty, leadership and love for the party, if the could sit on these things. And yet they want reconciliation...They will all be in the net very soon.

Politics / Why Ogd And I Can Never Agree,by Spbk. by SUCONANA(m): 4:06pm On Oct 30, 2015
With reference to different comments from different people and OGD (OGD means Otunba Gbenga Daniel - former governor of Ogun State). Greetings to my respectable and amiable people of Ogun State. I joined politics for two reasons: Firstly, because of my brother, Senator Lekan Mustapha, and secondly, because of the unjustified killings of 140 OOU students in Ago Iwoye, who were murdered under OGD's government and nothing was done about it. Till today, the investigation is still ongoing in SSS office in Ogun State which I believe a statement has been taken from OGD and also in IGP headquarters where people have made statements about their involvement in the matter and who authorized the killings. They've been going back and forth on the matter. In my life time and in the course of politicking, I have come across so many people who have gone through a lot, all because of poverty, people who will do anything to make ends meet to fend for their families, it’s as bad as not been able to afford three square meals. It was after this discovery that I committed myself to battle this unjustifiable act and I will keep fighting until I will be able to prove and attain justice for the poor families affected. I will keep supporting my people for the rest of my life. This is one of the reasons why OGD and I can never agree.

OGD's last comments were all filled with lies. I do not understand why someone will be a master of deceit personified, incurable and pathological liar and it runs through their veins. The truth of the matter is that OGD appointed Segun Seriki to be the Director-General of Good luck Jonathan's campaign. Segun Seriki and Titi Oseni take instructions from OGD and that is why when 400m was stolen from the 500m that was sent for elections, not campaign, it was taken directly to OGD's residence while 300m was shared between them and they were still involved in heavy anti-party activities which brought about the downfall of the party. It is OGD that always sell tickets and one example was when he asked Wesco to pay a lot of money and after so many pleas, Wesco paid N5m into his foundation with the hope that he'll be able to get a ticket. He promised about 10 candidates the Governorship ticket in the last election. Hon Dimeji Bankole was one of them and promised to back him up but of course in the middle of the struggle he turned his back against him. Where is his leadership? So how can these people be talking today?

I do not see any reason why I'm been accused of holding the structure of the party. Some of these people forget that OGD controlled the party for eight good years where he betrayed the people that used the platform for him to become the governor. That is former minister Martins Kuye group and he hijacked the structure from them and made them suffer thereby destroying their political careers. During this time, he misused the power and also made different promises to about 100 people for one person, thereby destroying their wealth and future and some have not even recovered till now.  The state chairman then was Chief Joju Fadairo and Chief Pegba Otemolu was the secretary of the party. Chief Otemolu confirmed to me that when they were holding the structure during the eight years  of OG, he  was the Alpha and Omega and none of them could dare OGD to do otherwise and OGD controlled even the cash that came in from Abuja.

After the general election, he directed Segun Seriki to take pictures of the building I built in Ijebu-Igbo which was named "Jonathan Political Centre" and took the pictures to former President Goodluck Jonathan, saying I had removed his name and the billboards in his name from the facility and that he had told Jonathan that I am an APC man and cannot be trusted. That was what formed part of my NDLEA predicament in May, this year. Of course, he was rewarded with an appointment. All this was a game of deceit because we were the ones that did the job but instead he took the glory with his deceitful game (that is Gbenga Daniel for you). Meanwhile, they were the ones who worked against ex-President Jonathan and stole his money.  They were the ones who stole the N300m from the N500m meant for election and also stole about 100m from the initial N200m that was paid at the beginning of the campaign. More revelation on this will be divulged later.

During the election, OGD was busy doing brokerage business by taking people to the State House and will get his own percentage from the dollars he collected from ex-President Jonathan for those people in order to enrich himself. None of these people that are talking and those calling themselves leaders, ex-ministers, senators or rep members, ex governors are the ones who have benefited and they continue to key themselves and their families into juicy positions and none of them is ready to expend their personal funds to impact the lives of the less privileged or to return part of their wealth into the society. We all know when they started without a penny.

Before his venture into politics, OGD could not afford to buy up to 50 elevators, likewise so many senators and reps members. For instance, there is a man in Ago-Iwoye in his 70s who served one honourable minister from Ago-Iwoye throughout his life. The man had prostrate cancer. When this man was in the hospital, he needed about N1.6m for operation in about two hospitals. The second operation cost about N600, 000. This former minister gave him only N20, 000 and he did not care whether the man lost his life or not. Meanwhile, the man is his older brother.

God used the Omoilu Foundation that I facilitated to pay the total money required and saved this man's life twice. We have hundreds of people we treat of different ailments form time to time and we have over 200 people who rely on us for medications for different ailments on a monthly basis. We have empowered people with thousands of vehicles, thousands of motorcycles, thousands of grinding machines, hundreds of trucks of rice, hundreds of trucks of noodles/macaroni, hundreds of trailers of slippers, hundreds of thousands benefit from between the N100, 000 to N200, 000 or more for small scale businesses and scholarships.

Each person’s hereafter can only be achieved through good deeds and a golden heart towards our fellow human beings not by what you have. None of these people are available until the dying minutes of election, collecting money from every angle.

After my tribunal judgement on the 9th of October, 2015, OGD called for a meeting at his residence where so many people were in attendance and he expressed his joy towards it. He then instructed that all his people work for APC’s Dapo Abiodun during the rerun and also told them that the gubernatorial judgement that was coming for GNI on the 23rd of October, 2015 will be lost woefully. Where then does his loyalty lies?

There is a parable in Yoruba that goes "Alagbara loun jeun ita" - meaning if OGD could use his power to hijack the structure from the Martins-Kuye group, is there a problem if Omoilu does the same after eight years of running the structure? Another group can take over the structure from the present group anytime. So, that means the structure does not belong to one person alone.

During the last election, hundreds of trailers filled with commodities and kerosene were ordered by Omoilu Foundation and shared during the election. So, how can someone who stays in his house, diverting poor people's money accuse me of chasing N100m while they diverted the money people ought to benefit from and shared it amongst themselves? One of them used the money to complete his house in Ijebu-Igbo and the other in Iperu. Instead of hiding their faces in shame, they still have the temerity to open their dirty stinky mouths to talk. They think they are deceiving the members, meanwhile they are deceiving themselves. There's an adage in Yoruba "A ki fi owo ekun ra Oja erin ", meaning if you take the money that belongs to many people, and cause them to cry over the money and you think you can use the money for something good, you must be joking.
In 2011, after Segun Seriki obtained the House of Reps ticket, I spent millions of Naira during the election, especially on the day of the election in order for him to win but unfortunately he was not popular enough to win in the three local governments that make up the Federal Constituency. He even lost woefully in his own polling booth. He was in my camp for almost one year when I took him as my blood brother before he left and joined Labour Party under the leadership of OGD again. A month before the election, he came back begging for the House of Reps ticket again involving a lot of people to beg me as if I was the one holding the ticket but it was too late as the party could not take the ticket from  Hon. Adekoya Adesegun (a.k.a Attacker) and give it to Segun Seriki. Segun Seriki was very furious and has taken me as his enemy since then.
There's an adage in my language that says "Eni ti o ba ma da aso fun eniyan, ti orun re ni a ma koko wo". Meaning "Anybody who wants to give you cloth, you'll first look at what the person is wearing".
I will love if Segun Seriki can borrow me more money as my younger brother. But, unfortunately, he does not have. He needs to clothe and feed himself first.

I repeat again, those who are involved in anti-party activities and who also diverted the campaign funds and shared it amongst themselves will be sanctioned and expelled from the party in Ogun State and by the National organ.

They will also be prosecuted very soon. And for those who believe in threatening people – and there are allegations that they have been involved in many killings in Ogun State – will be invited very soon and investigated and prosecuted. Justice will not only been done, but seen have been done. Let us wait and see.

I can say it authoritatively that politics today requires lots of money, not running of mouth, ziggy, empty boasts; it requires GOOD MONEY. There are no more monkeys in Idanre. The monkeys of nowadays wear clothes, use glasses and are driving jeeps. All our members and followers have discovered that there is no politics without MONEY. The era of monkey dey work, baboon dey chop is OVER. Those days are gone – and gone for good!

Politics / Kashamu Takes Ogd To The Cleaners. by SUCONANA(m): 10:24pm On Oct 26, 2015
KASHAMU TAKES OGD TO THE CLEANERS.

My dear Elders, leaders, followers and good people of Ogun State, I am proud to be an indigene of Ogun state, son of the soil. When we are talking about intelligence, wisdom, courage, wealthy and real politicians, they all hail from Ogun State. I will be the last person to deceive myself, if I can't see the reason to deceive myself I do not see the reason why I'll deceive my Elders, leaders and followers. A court process that carried some candidates is totally different from the primaries but do not forget that OGD was the cause of the court that confirmed those candidates.

Let us review the candidates in the last election, those who came from LP who were under OGD's leadership covered 90% of the candidates who ran for election in 2015, including our Gubernatorial candidate GNI. How many candidates from Kashamu's group/Omo-ilu emerged? When you're a professional at lying, deceiving and kicking shots, all these are part of the ziggy you are known for, one day, you will be consume by your antics.

So, if those people were from LP, then why am I being accused of controlling the structure? Some of the people giving negative comments in this forum were the ones who fought for tickets and could not get it, even though they were part of me, it was beyond my control because what can I do when you have thousands of people 20 positions. The only way to resolve this is through the primaries. But the truth of the matter is that those involved in heavy anti-party will be sanctioned by the national organ of PDP and those who were deceitful and took the campaign funds into their business and shared the rest, which one of them used it to complete one of his houses in Iperu & another used his own to continue building his house abandoned in ijebu igbo for 15years, the heads of those who worked & suffered day and night for the party and did not  benefit from the money will judge the guilty.

All what OGD has said in his response contains no atom of truth, it is full of deceit, we both know each other & there's nothing anybody can do on this earth that can satisfy OGD. I say it with confidence, if OGD tells you goodnight and you believe and go to bed, believe me you'll meet yourself in an ocean. His Good morning means good evening & vice versa. From the hair on the head of my leader, OGD, to his feet, it's all full of ziggy that runs through his blood but I believe that time will tell. If OGD can say what he say after the tribunal verdict of GNI & people still believe that OGD is in PDP, then it's like we're wasting our time. I will say more when I am pushed, I need more push.

Since I started this politics, the only money I ever received between me and Almighty God both from the Party and Jonathan is the N30M that was given to me by the party during the election.
Also, $11,000 balance from the $50,000 which the Jonathan gave to OGD & Fayose & myself to share to the people we took to state house in Lagos. The balance of $11000 was left as a result of two people who were supposed to come pick up the balance but never came. I've never taken any money or contract from any government or ministry. This I say in confidence. I neither took any contract from APC in Ogun state. Hon Hassan then in PDP who was always with me and Egbetokun approached my car company in Lagos Island Autos to purchase 26 Toyota avensis and the company realised only 2M from the sale of the 26 vehicles. All the evidence are there and the two persons are alive to confirm. I make bold to say I've never met the Governor Ibikunle Amosun in person and only spoken to him on phone once.
On the issue or merchandising tickets, I challenge anyone who's ever gotten a ticket which I traded to come out. The only near incidence was when Sen Lekan wanted the ticket after Malawi Odunowo had gotten it in 2009. Both of them liaised but it failed to happen. When my so called brother Segun Seriki came to my house in Lagos a few months to election in 2011 and pleaded for my assistance to participate in the the primaries, was his ticket merchandised? With the party Exco or structure?
Was the ticket of all OGD cronies who came from Labour Party merchandised also? They went for primaries and won their tickets. Was the primaries merchandised? They included GNI, Ataka, Wesco, Kadija, Asuje, Ladi, Akinlade ,Tunji Akinosi, Waliu Taiwo etc. of which I assisted some of them with my money to purchase their forms. Before the elections, Otunba Wesco brought 10M to support my expenses on the party but I refused it and implored him to spend same in his constituency.
The 500M in question wasn't for my election and had nothing to do with it but for the general election and disbursement of which the order was for us all to monitor the money for Gubernatorial election which they failed to achieve. It is true I congratulated Asiwaju and Ogun governor Amosun. It had nothing to do with the Party. I'm loyal to my party. Even the past President congratulated the present government even before results were announced. As a south west leader, it was only normal. It is also true I had and gave instructions to Assembly members to corporate with any good initiative from the government that would better the lives of our people. Should I have advised them against supporting any good initiative aimed at driving the state forward because we are now in opposition? I still stand by the advice I gave them.
The crux of the matter now is first to remove the clothing's of the masquerades amongst us so we know where the problem is coming from and those willing to still work for the party have a clearer picture.
Nobody can accuse me of having the party structure because all the superior leaders I know are fighting to gain control, to what end, I don't know.
If I'm being accused of using the structure which belongs to many leaders in Ogun state to make money, many of our leaders know I use my personal resources for the party because I'm a loyal party member.
Those who believe it is their right to control the State structure if you are honest, start working from the grassroots as congress is approaching. So that anybody that wins from ward to state level can then all work together.
As a mobilizer and philanthropist, I'm of the humble opinion that eyan laso wa. And I strive to empower my people. Those who call themselves Party big men would be unavailable to mobilize and fund the party, they cannot bring their personal resources for the party and they would be quiet until 3 months to the election then begin their campaign of character assassination Hoping to reap where they haven't sown. May God help us and judge everyone according to their hearts. It's better we lay our cards on the table so we know those who want to work for the party and those against, whose voices are usually the loudest.

Politics / Senator Kashamu Replies Ogd.....says All Powers Belong To God. by SUCONANA(m): 5:46pm On Oct 25, 2015
Senator Kashamu replies OGD.....says all powers belong to God.

In reference to OGD's comment- the only election that was left in my care in the last election was Remo Federal Constituency which I delivered...
I thought by now, the leader should have known lies takes one nowhere and that truth always prevails.
Firstly, how can you say you delivered Rep in that constituent when Ladi Adebutu himself is a popular candidate & his father is a well known rich man who has impacted positively in the people's lives. You collected almost 200M put in your care by Ladi's Father. Why then didn't you use the same magic for the 4 assembly candidates in that constituency.
The 500M from Federal for our elections was sent to the bank. Before Isiaka, Clarke & myself met in the morning, OGD had used connection and sent for the withdrawal of 400M and we met only 100M. 400M had disappeared between OGD, Okupe, Titi Oseni & Seriki. It was when they heard we involved the Commissioner of Police with fight that OGD dropped another 100M but our expenses from Party's instructions, ought to put things in place was 346M. At the end of the day, to my utmost surprise OGD was involved in heavy anti party activities. shared money in all 9 LGs with almost 40 people in each, to buy votes against the party especially for the Senate. Where is his loyalty? If it wasn't for that almost 25,000votes bought, I would have floored Dapo with more than 40,000 votes instead of 16,000.

There's no human being that God hasn't helped but we all have same one life. All these our followers are the clothes we use to cover our 'unclothedness'. Without them, it wouldn't have been possible to become a Governor. The least we can do is to be honest in our dealings with them. The content of OGDs statement that he posted in this forum isn't true. It's a continuation of the deceit to our party members and good people of Ogun State.
He also posted - 'Fire on until we take over the structure' during my predicament. I do know we are all mere humans and no human being has the power to determine the life of another. Few days ago after his Political son Isiaka lost at the tribunal, a victory that would have benefitted the Party and Ogun residents he posted - a wi wi wi won na o gbo a fase gbe ojo ntan ra e je...mocking his defeat. This shows the heart of the man we call leader. It is only the Almighty God, who is the most gracious that determines the life of everyone today and tomorrow. The Leader should always remember that even a driver, bricklayer, electrician, barber, traders or lift sellers can become Governors, ministers or the President tomorrow.
What will be will be
I would be available to make more clarification should the need arise. May God touch the heart of OGD for good in order for all of us to join hands to take PDP higher if he hasn't already joined the APC as his romance with them is very strong.
Salute to all our amiable, respectable leaders, elders, members and the good people of our dear State.

KASHAMU TO OGUN PDP MEMBERS: LET’S NOT LOSE HOPE

My dear good people of Ogun State, the governorship candidate of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), elders, leaders, members and supporters of the PDP, I appreciate the fact that a lot of us feel disappointed at today’s judgment of the Ogun State Governorship Tribunal which sat in Abeokuta, the state capital.

Although the details of the tribunal’s verdict would soon be known and appropriate steps taken, I must say that from the snippets I have heard some of its findings and conclusions are saddening, to say the least.

However, we cannot afford to lose hope for a second. We should not despair. As believers in the sovereignty of the Almighty God, we know that whatever will be, will be, no matter how long it takes. In times like this, what we need do is to look inwards; put our house in order, be truthful and show love, solidarity, loyalty and contentment.

We must also work together in unity in order to achieve our individual and corporate goals and aspirations. We should join forces together and realise that it is not over until it is over.

Lastly, I extend my warmest salutations and deepest respect to all my amiable leaders, elders, supporters and associates for their steadfastness and love for the PDP in the face of daunting challenges. Together, we shall win. God bless you.

Senator Buruji Kashamu's Act Of Showing Clemency Keeps Growing In Volume.

By Yomi Sholanke.

Positive aura is like a Siamese twin when we show clemency to one another; and are surrounded by peaceful environment, especially if accompanied with philanthropic gesture.

However, only a truly fortified mind, soul and spirit would heed the quiet clarion call of nature to all mankind through our conscience.

Senator Buruji Kashamu, bears this in mind and ensure that he does not give things that would not directly affect people's lives; but also give things he could use as an individual; especially things that add real value to life.

He is not too comfortable not to be mindful of the masses necessities. Not because he lives in the midst of the peoples, but because he is on a divine mission to liberate the poor masses from abject poverty to prosperity.

Senator Kashamu's philanthropic programmes radiate, illuminate, positively contagious and spread like whirlwind in and around the masses; and this is evident in their countenance.

This has however continue to create new aura of hope, greater beginning and positivity for the youths and the next generation.

No doubt, he is divinely called by Almighty God to serve humanity.

Senator Buruji Kashamu:Leadership par- excellence

By Oyejide Sunkanmi

Clarity is a simple concept, and is key to staying on the same page as a team. Clarity means knowing what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. Unfortunately, lack of clarity of responsibility is common in most of our political office holders.Lack of clarity of responsibility leads to non performance, disagreements about prioritization, and endless meetings just to figure out, “What did we do last week, and what should we do next week?”

As with most popular sayings, there is some truth in the adage, “Great leaders are born, not made.” To some extent, the capacity for great leadership is innate. However, learning how to be a more effective leader is within everyone’s grasp – whether you lead multiple teams, a country or just a community.

Senator Buruji Kashamu leadership styles and exceptional humanitarian gestures stand him out from the crowd or mere capable elected  office holders.Kashamu timely response to the SOS messages of the civil servants in Osun State is still recieving commendations from all walks of life.

Below are  few of the qualities and traits that distinguishes great leaders such as Senator Buruji from mere capable leaders.

Sharp perception: Do you know how people really perceive you? Effective leader such as Senator Kashamu  do. SBK has an easy level of honest communication with his constituents and his team, and a thorough understanding of how he is perceived. Senator Kashamu is aware testing others’ perception of him can be as simple as observing his behavior. As a political office holder are your  people relaxed around you? Does all conversation stop when you enter into their midst?

If you really want to know what people think, just ask them. You may receive feedback that you’re not listening or showing appreciation as well as you could be. If you’ve established an environment of honest and open communication, you should be able to ask about your good qualities and the areas you need to improve on.The electorates will appreciate you more. This was the difference Between Prince Buruji Kashamu and Mr Dapo Abiodun when they both contested the Ogun east senatorial seat.SBK is deeply rooted at the grassroot,he is popular in all the communities of Ogun east. The masses love seeing their leaders around often.

Effective leader knows the constituency overall purpose and goals,Effective leader (like Senator Kashamu)  agreed-upon  workable strategies to achieve these goals; SBK  also know how his plans fits into the big picture. Full knowledge of your terrain – inside and out – is vital to becoming an effective leader, this has helped Senator Kashamu in no small measure in winning the heart of the masses to his side.

Self-assessment:Senator Buruji Kashamu periodically take stock of his personal strength and shortcomings.  Effective leader ask: “What do I like to do? What am I really good at?” “What are my areas of weakness, and what do I dislike doing?”

Be “Going Somewhere” Call it being visionary, call it setting direction, call it having a compelling point—creating hope for the future and helping people see the way forward is one of the t basic needs of followers, according to Gallup’s latest research.

Recent studies by the Hay Group concur that to be a great leader, alongside being trustworthy, you simply must be able to communicate a vision of where you and others need to go. Not only will this inspire confidence downwards, among the electorate, it will also increase your impact upwards, among your contemporaries.

If Nigeria had more effective and caring political leaders like Senator Buruji Kashamu,it would be a more better place to live.
