I am Ika by tribe,I am living in nsukka.The Igbos are another version of fulani.For over four years in nsukka,I have come to realise the true nature and motive of this Igbos,they are not what they claim to be.

What happened was that after Yaradua died, Jonathan who was the vp was sworn in as the president of the federal republic of Nigeria. The vp slot was then zoned back to the north west and it had to be a serving governor in the region. When Yaradua and Jonathan contested for the president and vp post they were both serving governors in Katsina and Bayelsa. At that time Jonathan was still very much loyal to Obasanjo, because it was obj who fought for Jonathan to get to that position. When it was time to pick the vp, Obasanjo made sure Sambo was chosen because he knew the northerners would not rally around him, because they see him as an outsider and not a true northern muslim. Obasanjo knew what he went through with Atiku when he was president and that even as an ex head of state and a retired general he was pushed to the limit because of the support he got from the north. Obasanjo wanted to use Jonathan as a third term without the interference of a strong vice president.

Let me explain something to you, Kaduna was just like Lagos, it was the place where all the rich and influential people in the north lived before Abuja took over. So just like Lagos you didn't really need to be an indigene to be governor or hold political office. If you were born there or you have lived their for awhile, then with the right people around you, it can be done.

Have you not wondered that even though people felt Jonathan was weak, the north never rallied around Sambo to fight him for the presidency.Their was even a rumour that during the election that Jonathan did after completing Yaradua's tenure, he was told to sign an under taken that he would not hand over to Sambo as a condition for the north to support his candidacy.
