Yes in China you can apply for MS or PhD before completing your studies. You should be in the final year or semester.
You submit your application with your current transcripts and a pre graduation certificate, progress report kind of thing
Thank you sire..

I am not sure Nigeria Universities offer such, do they?

Good Evening everyone,

Regarding this, I reached out to a lot of Radio stations. Most responses I got from them was that there is no space, or they totally Ignored me.

This was why I needed a sort of Recommendation per say. I am not asking for a job, rather I am asking for a space to learn, even if I must be Auditioned.

I know that Nairaland is a huge community. I know I can get a recommendation from here. Please I need help, please.... A good Samaritan should help please.

Thank you.

I never said I am scared of competition. Most of them do not accept uninvited interns, save they were referred by ppl they know. Thanks all the same.

Good Evening, My Nairaland family.
I am a budding radio presenter(Intern) in Owerri here, but due to relocation issues, I am finding it difficult to find a place to intern here in Lagos.
please my family, all I need is an opportunity to complete my learning process as a presenter. For now, I have no interest in what I will earn, as I am willing to put my all to learn as much as I can within a short period of time.
I am to an extent, conversant with News analysis, Writing, editing, sourcing, correspondence/news reporting, voice editing.
All I need is a platform where I can get to work better on my Diction, Voice over and confidence level.
I am willing to serve in any capacity I will be assigned to.
please, someone who can refer me to any station in lagos will be forever appreciated by me.
Thank you so much sir's and Ma's.

Thanks, I am happy that our views are actually aligned.
I have never liked students having to bear the brunt of ASUU-FG face-offs. Believe it or not, a part of me is happy that most lecturers (including me) have not been paid for months because at least, it isn't just the students suffering this time.

We can only hope our country gets it right, because guys like me are finally giving serious thoughts to just leaving the whole mess and emigrating.

Nigeria is Indeed a country.

How can you defend the above assertions? Are you a member of ASUU? Well, I am. And as a member, I have provided the relevant info. Take it or leave it.

But no wahala. No need to argue with you. I believe we both want the same thing, namely peace in the universities, ba? It is on its way. When it comes, the identity of the real victims in this matter will become clear.
Don't get me wrong Prof, ASUU members are legitimately fighting for their Right which FG has refused to be positive about. My only annoyance was that students are the ones at the receiving end. I am sorry if my first response sounded Insensitive...

My point is ASUU is not to take blame. Do you think they have not done all these? Do you know the level of consultation ASUU put on before going on strike? The other day, ASUU president was explaining the pains they go through. From traditional rulers to different levels of politicians to government agencies, all for mediation and nothing works. The only time FG tend to behave as if something is happening is when they strike.
With the position of Prof Yemi now, he can no longer be regarded as a member of ASUU, on the contrary he is now a staunch member of the government and politicians. His interest and loyalty is with the government and not the other way round. It is quite unfortunate that our government is so insensitive and understand only strike as a spoken language. It is very unfair that students suffer most in all of these.
In All sincerity, I know ASUU demands are legit..They deserve their pay for the work they do, so their welfare is paramount. I just feel so bad that Innocent students are caught up in all these.
FG is just being uneccassarily difficult, and it is unfair!

Then you don't have the requisite knowledge to contribute effectively on the subject matter. Little wonder, you interjected ignorantly the way you did.
For your information I graduated in a public University and I am not a lecturer. However lecturers are not to be blamed in any way for students staying at home, the government should be held solely responsible. Tell me, you sit on a round table, negotiate, agree and sign a plan of action, then the government will totally renege for no reason, why will there not be unrest. Then, the situation in the universities keeps becoming dire by the day. The public universities are fast becoming like the already killed public primary schools and secondary schools. Government need to live up to its responsibilities and stop all these grandstanding.

I didn't Interject Ignorantly.
I have been aware of what has been Happening between FG and ASUU since 2009.
But in all these, the students suffer and keeps suffering. How do you juxtapose the clean intentions of ASUU and the careless action of Government?

A member of ASUU is the VP now they can reach out to him for quality negotiation, there are still ways of dealing with this without making the poor students the Boxing Platform.

The evidence-free way people proclaim some random idea as fact is truly unbelievable.
Revitalization is a smokescreen? IPPIS is the main issue? Really?
Daddy, ASUU has been in the trenches fighting recalcitrant governments for decades, long before anything called IPPIS existed.

But I promise you: that fight will soon stop largely because we are tired of being vilified by the very people we are defending. The truth that some ASUU members refuse to accept is that student fees are a major portion of the IGR of (capitalist) universities. This is one area where the Nigerian government is right: if we are serious about autonomy, we should be ready to stop depending on government for 95% of our funding. When that happens, each university will be able to generate something of the order of 5 to 10 billion naira per year from just student fees. Then we will stop needing to fight for "revitalization" every few months, and there will be peace in the universities.

I look forward to that day, and I am happy to say that it is coming soon.
If ASUU wasn't forced to enroll into IPPIS this year, there wouldn't have been a strike, atleast not yet.
This Present strike is all about IPPIS, and all ASUU wants is a compromise from FG and they will rush back to school.

unfortunately for you, government knows it cannot do a thing. This is the major problem, the Nigerian student. Instead of you to stand up and support ASUU in demanding for a better learning environment as it is obtainable in your favorite saner climes quote, you prefer overcrowded classrooms, non equipped laboratories and non existent general infrastructures. These are all as a result of poor funding of education sector while the same people you are supporting are stealing billions meant for the good of you. Is UTAS going to increase lecturers salaries? Will ASUU collect the revitalisation fund so far released to the universities? The answer is no. All of you prefer to graduate with nothing in your brains, a science student not knowing what a microscope is or cannot not differentiate a lab equipment from lab apparatus. Then, there will be cries of no jobs while your counterpart from covenant etc are rejecting jobs.

I graduated long ago from a private University.

Did that solve the problem you are creating in elongating student's stay in School?

You are just a careless and insignificant ranter.

Perhaps, you are yet to realize the importance of quality education which is why, going by your statement on wasted time, you are so comfortable with displaying a meaningless certificate up and down all in the name of answering a graduate.

ASUU is fighting for the revitalization of our public tertiary institutions, first and foremost.

Yes, ASUU is also fighting for IPPIS.

To tell you the truth, an unsatisfied lecturer who is disgruntled because his take home pay cannot take him home is the worst thing you will ever wish to experience in your academic life, trust me.

We make war so that we can have peace.

ASUU is fighting today so that tomorrow there will no need for strike.

You staying at home and doing nothing could be the small price you are paying today so that you can have quality education tomorrow.

Bear with us.
A very careless statement that Endsars protesters kept making during their protest....
You are fighting for your welfare legit (We all know that the whole revitalization song is a smokescreen, the real issue has always been IPPIS) and you want everyone to bear with you, when you won't be ready to bear with them in their own wahala. Keeping them at home when all odds are stacked against the students is insensitivity. You guys can always get your salaries and allowances back, but will students get the time wasted back?

I will support the Government if they choose to open the schools using force after this last meeting! Enough of Nonsense!!!!
