The US, Russia both have their communication line since the Cold War specifically intended to avoid world war mistake. Both countries always inform each other when they are attacking near each other and when deploying or testing a ballistic missile.

They both do it all the time, when US and Israel want to attack Syrian positions near the Russian bases, US always inform Russia in advance.

It’s a courtesy both countries extend to each other since the Cold War. Not out of fear for each other but for mutual respect and nuclear war avoidance.

Wrong move. FG should get rid of dual citizenship. You cannot become a citizen of America, England or wherever and still maintain your Nigerian citizenship. The US is one of the few countries with foreign tax, there is a certain amount you have to make before you’re asked to pay tax on it e.g. you have to make atleast 200k and above “abroad” before you’re asked to bring tax. Here you are proposing to send 10% of all my income to a country that I don’t live and offer me no benefits whatsoever for being a citizen living outside of the country. We have no effectively perfect our tax collection nationally, you’re jumping on abroad income 😂😂😂

3. Close all embassies and consulates? This is pure ignorance cos embassies and consulates don’t exist only for their citizens abroad. Even North Korea maintain embassies where they are allowed to have one, they have atleast 40 of them across the world even though their country has been on lockdown for decades.

Here’s some insights for you …
- Somalia is one of the fast growing countries in Africa because it’s making progressive policies to attract their citizens abroad. I can say for certain that Somalians who seemed asylum in the US 10-20yrs ago are heavily investing back home now.

- Iraq, El Salvador, Ghana, Benin republic, Zambia, Dominican Republic … are example of countries that are constantly attracting their citizens abroad to invest home and some moving back permanently to invest. All they have to do was make progressive policies that protect investors.
