So since we have gas in abundance and we can supply light to other neighboring countries, why can we supply ourselves?

Yes we have gas in abundance and that’s why we are currently building a gas pipeline to Europe to sell to them.

The fattest lie ever told is that Nigeria supplies Ghana and Benin Rebuplic light. When in itself it doesn't even enough capacity to serve itself

Partially true and false.

1. Nigeria does not supply Ghana electricity but we supply Ghana gas for its turbines.

2. Togo and Benin have a joint electrical grid, and they buy electricity from Ghana and Nigeria to meet its need. Benin was working on its own independent power plant sometime ago, not sure if they completed it or not.

3. Yes, Nigeria also supply electricity to Niger.

With due respect, this is not making sense compared to the former submission you responded to.

How can you say "Ashawo' is a broken English word?? This should only be suggested by people without any knowledge of english and the origin of the word.

Can any English word be broken into Ashawo? Even the English man will wonder in confusion how an unknown word is said to be broken English.

Is simply a broken yoruba word infused into the spoken broken English.

Read again where I said it was derived from Ashewo which is a Yoruba word.

Broke English by definition = A type of English that has some element of local content in it. Broken English varies by accent and local content. It doesn’t not have to be derived from an English word. Words like commot … has got nothing to do with English language nor is it linked to any local language… those are broken English words that got adopted and accepted. The Carribean patio is constructed exactly like this too.

To reaffirm, the word Ashewo is a Yoruba word, borrowed by broken English and used across West African countries that speak broken English. In parts, this is accelerated by the fact that most Afro beats originated from Lagos which happens to be a Yoruba state.

That broken version was created through "Igbonization" according to Igbo grammatical rules

Broken English is spoken across West Africa. It’s not an Ibo only English nor was it created or popularized by Ibo.

Big lie, Ashawo' is "Igbonization" of Ashewo'.
Same way "Agbero" is ignonized to Agboro in Igboland.
This is because those Yoruba words did not obey the rule called "Ndakorita Udaume" (agreement between vowels) in Igbo grammar. In that Igbo grammatical rule, there are two groups of vowels, the A-group and the E-group.
In every typical Igbo word, two vowels from different group can never be found in one word unless the word is a combination of two different words and can be separated into it's components parts. A non Igbo word that disobey this rule, igbos pronounce it with a replacement of the wrong vowel.
Now, is Agbero, also called Agboro in pidgin Nationwide?

Agbero is a different word. I did not generalize “ALL” words. My comment was about the word “Ashewo” and Ashawo being a broken word not Ibo.

Some borrow a word they have before and after sometimes the borrowed word become more popular. I'm not applying it to Ife/Benin wahala oo
For example. In Igbo language
Prostitute = Akwuna
But yoruba word Ashewo which is pronounce as Ashawo in igbo accent is more popular. Even Flavor's song "Ashawo' was a hit
I disagree sir!

While Ashewo is Yoruba word.
Ashawo is a broken English word, that was borrowed from Ashewo.

Ibos choose that word from the broken side of things. Yes broken English popularize Ashawo as the preferred word for prostitution. And broken English is not specific to Ibos, it’s spoken across west Africa. Even my Liberian and Sierra Leon friends use Ashawo without knowing its origin but know that it means prostitute.

Bobloco:

“Mr. President promised that very soon the current exorbitant prices of the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) popularly known as petrol would be “greatly reduced,” he added.

Petrol pump price was #187/litre when Tinubu came in, today it sells at almost #700/litre. if paraventure it reduced to #500/litre can that be described as "greatly reduced" The answer is an emphatic No!

The real "greatly reduced" Nigerians are expecting is below #200/litre or better still take it to the price where he met it which is #187/litre

Anything other than the above, Professor Garba Sharubutu, who is claiming to be speaking on behalf of Tinubu might actually be speaking for himself

Let’s be realistic, you know it is impossible for the price to reduce to 200/liter with no subsidy

If some sort of subsidy is not coming back then forget about that 200/liter.

Assembly.. They assemble the cars here. It's not as if they manufacture it

That’s kinda ignorant to say though. Can you mention one car manufacturer in the world that does not import parts from other suppliers or countries as input to their car.

As long as they designed, and assembled it… it’s considered manufactured. Proforce, Innoson, Nord are the only Nigerian makers.

Peugeot are designed and all assembly part comes from their headquarters in France. So they only assemble in Nigeria.

Jac and Geely are Chinese brands that does same thing, assemble in Nigeria.

But then, assembling here does make the cars cheaper, create jobs, more tax money… at the end of the day it’s all good news for us. Even we produce just car seat, it’s a progress for us.

Google is not your friend, you can find all sorts of rubbish on Google, it won't replace logic and education.
It is a propaganda talking point which claims Ukraine had nuclear weapons and gave them away voluntarily. In reality, the USSR had nuclear weapons stationed all over the USSR (of which Ukraine was a sub-territory), when the USSR broke up, the Russian federation inherited all of the USSR's nukes along with the UN council permanent sit of the USSR. All the nukes of the USSR spread across the USSR, went to Russia which inherited them from the USSR. End of story.
Education and logic are your friends, unlike Google.

Over sabi dey worry you lmao 🤣 it’s a well documented history. Google is just a search engine just FYi

Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and other countries inherited nuclear weapons. US and Russia approach them to surrender it. Besides, the weapons were useless for them because the control centers are exclusively in Russia. So they either surrender and dismantle or have to build their own control centers, but they all were broke after the breakup, even US paid them aids some countries to dismantle it.

Your opinion cannot change history and facts sir, this is well documented history.

I think you are wrong mate. Those nuclear weapons being located in Ukraine before the break up of the USSR doesn't equate to Ukraine inheriting them, and as proof, they were handed back to the Russian federation which actually inherited all the USSR nukes from every corner of the USSR, not just Ukraine.

Be ware of the propaganda which tends to claim Ukraine used to have nukes. That is just a deformation of facts. As of yet, the only country which ever gave up nukes is Southafrica.

No you’re wrong. Ukraine inherited those bombs and gave it up voluntarily. Google is your friend sir.
