I beg to differ that Iran doesn't have this kind of capability apart from long range missile attacks.
Note... Israeli air force took out all of Iranian drones outside of Israeli air space in their first direct attack on Israel.
Israel and it ally will detect Iranian aircrafts immediately they left the Iranian air space and Ambush will set for them.
Another reason is that Iran doesn't have air refueling tankers to support long range air attack like this. Iran jets have very short range distances to travel.

1. Long range missile is a solid capability if coupled with hypersonic ones.

2. I’m not sure if it was Israel that detected it or the US radars from the carriers. In other words, allys did this.

3. Israel took out all the drones from out of Isreali space ? Big No! It took the Jordanians, Saudis, US, and UK to help in that operation. In fact US and UK alone covered over 60% of the intercepts.

4. Yes, I agree Iran entire air force is nothing to write home about due to its sanctions. And I believe that’s why they focused on the air defense and long range missiles and ballistic capability. And they stockpiled them a lot.

That’s not how air defense works, the only coordinate you can get like that would be that of the launchers not the radar or control systems.

Israel knew before hand where the radar are location and targeted just that. And Iran managed to intercept most of the projectiles.

Now can Israel do more damage to Iran? Yes they have that capability.

Can Iran retaliate in like kind, yes they also have that capability.

Bottom line is that both countries are not ready to confront each other in an all-out way, hence the reason they are both causing minimal damage to each other.

The US is also not interested in an all out war right now, nor does Israel and Iran want one.

It’s been confirmed by many news media now that Israel fired long range missiles from Iraq airspace.

No isreali jet got to Iran airspace.

Again, i was correct that Isreali jet cannot make the trip, and they don’t have 100 jets to sent to Iran airspace for a limited operation, also they must have used air launched missiles.

And yes, a couple of air defense radars were hit. And a missile factory sustain damage too. That’s that has been independently reported so far. There’s more to come.

Israel has f14, 16 and 35IL… none of them have a distance range of more than 2,000km plus carrying payload weight will reduce that effective range by 30% or more.

2. For Israeli jet to cover that distance, they will need an air refueling or a closer air base to start the mission and refuel then back home. There’s no aircraft that can make that journey without refueling. There’s use of nearby US bases is ruled out because all the gulf states pledge to now allow IDF to use its airspace or US bases on their soil.

3. 100 jets? How will they refuel 100 jets by air on a limited operation ?? Let me know if you have answer to that before you share news within reasoning it.
