I own a DC too, and it's a very good ride, never had any major issues. In fact, as someone said up there, my gear oil was leaking too, without my knowledge. By the time I got home, trying to drive inside, the gear was slipping. I checked and found out the gear oil was empty. After I bought original ATF gear oil and put, and rectified the leak which was a bad seal, it's over a year now and anytime I drive the car, no issues at all, parts are relatively cheaper too and less likely to be stolen, especially in the southern part of Nigeria where they are fanatics if Toyota, but in the north, OYO, cos before you see 2 Toyota's there, you would have already seen 10 honda's.

There was a time my estate drainage was being fixed, we couldn't drive in for almost 2 weeks, in that 2 weeks, 3 of my neighbors camry and matrix was broken into, their battery and stereo was stolen, my car was between the two cars, but they couldn't open it, I saw that they tried to manually open the bonnet from under cos I saw marks after I opened my bonnet, but they were not successful, but that was the same way they accessed the Toyota cars.

I just laugh, car wey be say the day a car wash guy mistakenly broke my key fob, car no gree start cos it thought it was a thief trying to steal it, even with spare, I had to call a key guy to program it from scratch. If e dey lock him owner out, then wetin be thief fate?

Car that if you're not careful, it will refuse to open/unlock.

Avoid that particular year Camry. E get why.
Toyota wins in suspension, no doubt. Honda uses soft suspension. And then maybe ball joint issues ( My model (CRV) is not the type that has ball joint issues. So, I can't relate.).

But engine, balance, interior, exterior etc Honda wins.

Anyways, while it's not right, landlords often see themselves as the Lord of the Land on which their house was built - this is a lesson, don't try to be a hero if you can't lead others to join you in doing compound thing.

If you even go to court, the landlord can say he gave you the quit notice because, having considered that the house not having light will be an inconvenience to you, he has decided to terminate your tenancy agreement so you can get a proper house that meets your demand.

Wisdom is always profitable to direct - Landlord wey hold beef with full street naim you think say intimidation by few tenants will faze? You guys could have asked for a general meeting with him and sweet talk him into paying the dues, even if it means contributing small small to assist.

Colour TV

In 1979 we got a colour TV in addition to the black and white TV. I remember that we got that TV set in 1979, but I don't remember what happened to it afterwards. The body was wood brown and it had push buttons instead of the usual VHF and UHF dials. It's not exactly the same, but it was kind of simar to the TV in the first picture.


We later got an Orion colour TV. It was silver and had UHF and VHF dials. It kind of looks like the TV in the second picture, but it's not exactly the same.

In 1985 my dad went to Japan and came back with a futuristic TV set. I had never seen anything like it. It was my favourite. It was a Panasonic. It was completely different from the other TV sets in the house. This TV set had numerous buttons, could get 100 channels and had 25 spaces to store channels. No other TV set in the house had that. It also had a cordless remote control! It kind of looks like the TV in the third pucture, but it was slightly different. Ours had a panel with a door that easily blended into the rest of the TV. The many buttons were behind the door.

There was a time that we damaged all the TVs around a week or two before Christmas. My dad was very happy. At last there would be peace. He refused to repair the TVs. There was no TV on Christmas Day. We had to wait for my dad to go to sleep, then we would put on the old black and white TV (which had volume problems) and then someone would sit close to the TV (to hear what was being said) and that person would tell everyone else what was happening on Another Life or whatever series we didn't want to miss.

My dad eventually fixed the TVs before New Year's Day.

We had all these too except the telephone and game console.
When my father passed away, I couldn't discard them and kept all his electronics for years.
I still have the black and white TV at home right now.

Meanwhile for this to work, you need the following:
A 12v 40ah battery
A UPS (650va) and
A smart charger.

Can anybody explain what the function of the UPS is? Since you already have the 12v 40ah battery.
Is it to serve as an additional power source (it contains its own battery)
Or is it to serve as an easy outlet for plugging your electronics?
You mentioned empty UPS. Does that mean you can use a UPS without a battery? i.e just the shell?

Okay, Sunday I am interested and want to try this but how do I start?

Now that I have convinced you to give this a spin, I will show you how to create cool, visually enticing pop ups on your wordpress website.

The great thing about wordpress is that you can extend its functionality with the use of plugins. There are two ways to go about this: the free option and the paid option. I have tried different plugins from the wordpress repository without being satisfied with the results until I finally discovered a free option called dislet pop. As at the time of writing this post, it is no longer being actively supported. If you are cash strapped and cannot afford to spend money on a premium plugin, you can use dislet pop for now.

Even though it is no longer being actively supported, this is a great plugin that will create different styles of pop ups and offer you the option of changing the colour, how many times to show the pop up and some other customizations.

After activating the plugin, you will need to go to your WordPress dashboard, and go to displet tools as shown in this image. Create pop up

By default, you will have some ready made pop ups which you can choose as a template and and generally configure the way you want the pop up to appear.

If you are to check the test mode, the pop up will appear each time you load any page or post on your website. This is to enable you tweak and adjust the pop up to your taste. For clarity purposes, I have included the screenshots of the settings page.

There is a little catch though. You will have to go to the widgets page to add a contact or subscription form. This , means you can use your already configured contact form plugin or other newsletter and email plugins.
Now check test mode and tweak until you are satisfied.
