I am a student of Federal University Dutsinma Katsina State. The University still carry out their activities in the take-off campus as the Permanent site is not safe, as a result of its location.
Last month (February) a student who was on a bike was gun down mistakenly by vigilante men, who claimed to have mistaken the okada man as a suspected bandit. After a week of that incident, about 4 students were kidnapped the following week by bandits from their lodge in the middle of the night, it was said that those students had a disagreement with a mai ruwa boy (those hausa boys that push water around for sale), however, same Mai ruwa boy led bandits to their lodge. They forced the entrance gate opened and he pointed at the doors of those students he had misunderstanding with. That was how they took 4 of them from the compound. Its been 3 weeks now since they took them away.
They demanded 5 million each for per student. Just yesterday they killed one of the students because his parents were not able to raised the money before a giving date, his mum is late and his Dad has been sick hearing of his kidnapping, and it was also claimed that he attempted to escape from the bandits enclave one night, as a result he was shot dead. They even had the gut to call on security to come and carry the boy's body which they dumped along a push path.
Three more students are still with them, Nigeria has happened to this young lad, a 100 level student wasted just like that. RIP bro. Viewer's discretion is advised.

Doctors in the house please help me recommend the best treatment. I have been having a chronic pile with a swollen anus for over 2yrs now, its so embarrassing. Initially I was treating it with herbal medicine but to no avail.
Lately, i discovered that I started having a painless blood dripping down from my anus after stooling, I will have to await even after i finished stooling so that the dripping blood will stop before i come out of the toilet. Please no ethnic banters. One of us is from Ekiti, and the other is from Benue. I am married for 8 years with 2 kids. It has been one problem to another.

I must be very frank, before marriage, my wife had many very questionable characters, but unfortunately we did the marriage counseling in a church were the pastor happened to be her family member. Many of the issues would have been resolved, but when I raised those issues about her character the pastor promised me that everything will be fine after the marriage.
Although this is not an excuse, but looking back now I would have been more patient and taken my decision myself instead of rushing into the marriage. For this I HOLD MYSELF ACCOUNTABLE

There is hardly nothing we do not quarrel about, I have always been the one to initiate settlement. The only way I ensure that there is peace in the house is for me not to complain about anything. Even at that, there is always trouble. If the children do anything wrong, she always says those characters the children are exhibiting are not from her and that she is not surprised that they inherited such characters from me.

She can go for months without talking to me, even if I tried to, I have done all I could do, I have begged, cried prayed. I just feel tired and exhausted from trying to make the marriage work or have peace in the home, the sad part is that she often reminds me every time there is misunderstanding that I should remember that she can stay on her own without talking to any body. 1. I can say conveniently that there is no money problem at home. Finance is okay.
2. I went to see her father 2 years ago, the man said unfortunately he can not do anything. This is true because she was raised away from her Father, she has no contact with any of her fathers family and her father has a zero say in her life.
3. she has 5 elders ones, non of them is in communication with her because of many unresolved issues. Of her 3 younger ones she only maintains a relationship with the last boy who is just 14 years. .
4. Her mum can not talk to her because she simply dares not. However, behind, her mother use to beg me and she kept saying she understands her daughter's character and that she is doing her best by praying and doing deliverance for her.
5. She is not in contact with her maternal uncles and aunt because she said they supported her elder ones when she had problem with them.

So I am stuck with no one to help call the both of us and resolve the issue.

Every year for 5 straight years, she always forgets my birthday, last year, she forgot also, three days later, she bought me a present and I refused to collect the present and I asked her why does she keep forgetting my birthday, year after year for 5 years. She just said sorry, but I left the present in the room, she never bothered to bring the present to me. Another birthday was gone yesterday 2nd May, and as I write, no happy birthday yet.

I had 2 children. When I got married, my husband had none and accepted them like his own children.

Before marriage, we had discussed about the children living with us after marriage but that couldn’t be possible anymore because we were having financial problem so we couldn’t afford to move to a bigger apartment. We were staying in a room self contain with my daughter while my son was staying with my elder brother and his wife.

Now three years after we had moved to a bigger house still my husband doesn’t want my son to come and live with us. At the moment my son is going through hard times. My sister in law has been maltreating him to an extent that he has been stealing, he was caught and beaten like an animal. My brother said he doesn’t want him in his house again. He wants me to come and collect him.

I pleaded with my husband for me to bring him with us but he said no, he should stay there because he doesn't want him to damage our children. I’m angry at him I stopped talking to him and I don’t know where my son will go because I have no mother no father it’s only my elder brother and kid sister even my sister who is married doesn’t want him. I’m pained and in tears seeing my only son suffering while I’m still alive and I’m helpless to protect him.
