A clear case of Discrimination against non-muslims. Sanusi is looking for trouble. Such a policy clearly presents an unfair advantage to muslims in business. No doubt 'interest payers' will some how have to subsidize the 'non interest payers'. Possibly as a counter measure non-muslim businesses may have a include a 'Charge' or 'Levy' on Muslims they transact with. |
Who are these thieves trying to fool? |
krixik:I think Florida' was selected for a reason - its the 'TORNADO' Zone and i think its Tornado Season right now. Seems like the plan has back fired on GEJ - Unless he can convince them to go to Fukushima, Japan for some training - |
You can take the 'Militants' out of the bush but you cant take the 'Bush' out of the militants. Rebels will be Rebels. Personally, I think our past and present politicians are in more need of rehabilitation than these so called militants. |
He may have raptured himself - ![]() You better leave the gate permanently open for now. |
Its not even about the value of the land - But of the value of the minerals underneath the land. She holds the mining rights. Bloody crook. |
I listen to 'FELA' - and sing along with him at the top of my voice. |

Mods/Seun - Front page please. (4000+ views in a day - clearly a subject people are interested in) |
I think 'Soludo' is jobless at the moment. (Maybe they should give him a 3 month trial) https://www.africansuccess.org/docs/image/Soludo.jpg |
All she wanted was £100,000 - Mr Giggs should have just paid. He probably earns that in a week. Now he's probably going to enter the history books as the guy that fought and lost - Against the truth coming out. |
manny4life:The economically inactive cannot/should not be expected to repay debts incured by the Govt of Lagos. Even the 'poor' should not be taken into consideration in such calculations. With such huge debt levels, Lagosians can expect tough times ahead - AUSTERITY MEASURES AND INCREASED TAXATION. |
As I said let them keep 'racking up' the debts. I expect 'Lagos' to be repossesed any day soon. Governemts come and go but the debt will always remain. As as a previous poster stated - stop decieving yourselves. Especially with the flawed calculations. Children, the elderly, the unemployed, beggars etc make up a significant amount of the Lagos population. They cannot/should not be expected to contribute to the debt payments. |
Let the debt level increase - it will eventually dawn on the residents of Lagos that they are the one's liable for the debt - not the government!!! The money was borrowed for the indigenes of 'Lagos' and they are the ones that must repay the debts - through taxation. I wonder what the interest rate on the debt is? |
its self explanatory the two creation stories came from different source hence the contradiction I have nothing to elaborate on
Well - hold your own beliefs.I've only ever read the 'King James Version' of the Bible and everything I quoted so far can be verified. Unlike your 'very vague' statement you cant elaborate on - ![]() |
Sun of god the first creation story was from the Priestly source(p) while the second was from the Yawistic source (J)
Please elaborate (for all) |
buzugee:Incorrect - I'm saying human beings were on this earth before adam was created. |
buzugee:Read throught the previous posts - There's no need for the ''Tribalism' here even though the poster has kind of invited it with the threads title. Your actually now 'dissing' yourself - not Igbo's. There was no such thing as Igbo/Yoruba/Hausa in the begining. Genesis chapter 1, verse 27 (God creates man and woman) Genesis chapter 2, verse 7 (Lord God creates adam) |
macjive01:Read Genesis chapter 2 for that 'gist'. And note how whereas the word 'God' is used throughout Genesis chapter 1, the term 'Lord God' is used throughout Genesis chapter 2. (Different entities) African's are the 'original man' first created. (In chapter 1) |
Type Ryan Giggs into google and notice what comes up - ![]() |
denzel2009:I think he's wasting his time trying to sue twitter. Such a move is going to be costly and will certainly backfire on him. |
komando77:Genesis Chapter 1, verse 27 (Please I dont want to start giving Bible Studies here) |
'Thread Of The Month' (Keep 'Bashing' them - they deserve it) |
afam4eva:Maybe they are 'Awakening' - Dont abuse them for that. |
I dont understand why 'Jesus' was included in the threads title and why you limiited it to Igbo's only as opposed to 'Black Africans' but I agree with the theory. Unfortunately most people dont have a solid understanding of the Bible. The book has been corrupted over time but there is still alot of knowledge that can be derived from it - IF YOU THINK WITH YOUR BRAIN. If you read the first few chapters of genesis carefully you will eventually see that 'God' created man and woman at the same time. Later on the 'Son's of god' created Adam and then Eve and placed them in the garden of Eden. The rest is history. . . . . . . Anyway, I dont want to get bogged down in a 'Religous Thread' so I'm out of here. |
Seun - Dont Panick, they 'no fit' sue you. However its a 'case' you need to follow. Here's an example of how to drive traffic to your site and help it achieve 'Notoriety'. You need an 'Exclusive'. British Soccer Star Sues Twitter Over Privacy Issue For weeks, British tabloids were prohibited from outing a soccer star who allegedly had a longtime affair with former supermodel and reality-TV star Imogen Thomas. It was due to something issued by British courts called a “super-injunction,” which many British celebrities and personalities obtain, so salacious personal details aren’t published by the papers. Of course, information wants to be free, so that little roadblock didn’t hold back the aptly named @InjunctionSuper, who went public with the allegation May 8 with the above-mentioned tweet. Now the soccer player (still officially unnamed) has turned to the courts yet again, this time with a decidedly harsher legal action. In papers filed Wednesday with the High Court, an individual identified only as “CTB” sued the social media giant and at least one anonymous user for violating the super-injunction. Of course, after @InjunctionSuper’s tweet, many media outlets began relaying the information. Ryan Giggs, who’s named in the reports, is one of the most decorated players in the history of Manchester United, the most valuable sports franchise in the world and Britain’s most legendary soccer club. London-based lawyer James Quartermaine told Bloomberg that there’s little chance Twitter will cooperate with the suit, even though the British courts claim worldwide jurisdiction. Twitter is headquartered in San Francisco. “Twitter will probably just ignore it and consider it to be offensive to their First Amendment rights,” he said. “It’s probably an attempt to try and show that actions have consequences in cyberspace.” Twitter has so far refused to comment on the legal proceedings. Seun:Maybe one day you will find time to read through your complaints section. There is a lot of feedback there that if acted upon would vastly improve the quality of NL. Ignoring such feedback is both arrogant and dangerous. And I'm sure NL has lost countless users because of this. And as for not wanting Govt attention - I think the attention world Govt's paid to the likes of Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc contributed to their massive success. But they only got that attention by constantly improving the quality of their sites and acting on their user's feedback. The same cannot be said of 'Naraland'. Imagine this - A Govt 'Big Wig' such as a Minister or Senator publicly Complimenting and Endorsing NL as a site that the Govt approves because of its 'Quality' and constant 'Innovation'. |
