The biggest trick the PDP played was deceiving Nigerians the violence was religious,
And the biggest 'Trick' Buhari played was forming a party 100% based on Religous Sentiments (CPC)

Gowon and northern christain, murder over 1,000,000 southern christain during the nigeria.

Do you think the same southern christain people  the northern christain killed 1,000,000 care what happen to northern christain. Please go and ask igbo people if they care what happen to Gowon and his people. They dont care. that is your answer.  they just want to leave on their own.

Look Igbo will like to retaliate the murder of 1,000,000 by also killing 1,000,000 Gowon  people.    so you see nigeria has issue.
Sometimes I struggle to decipher the meaning to your post but I'm going to speculate that the point your trying to make is that:

- Any Hausa/Fulani etc 'Christian' based in the North will need to move Southwards?
- Any Igbo/Yoruba etc  'Muslim' based in the South will also need to move Northwards?

I personally have no problem with that but I sense many others who wish Nigeria to divide will have a problem with this.

Is that not rather simplistic? No offence.
Your right - It is simplistic but I also believe accurate.

What do you forsee? Christians and Moslems living in peace?

- Convert to Islam
- Relocate Southwards
- Or get 'Slaughtered'
Politics › Re: How To Get GEJ And Others On Nairaland. by Sunofgod(m): 7:07pm On May 20, 2011
Personally, I think GEJ and Co need to spend their time running the country.

That's what we voted (Rigged) them into power to do.

He used Facebbok as a publicity tool.

He wont get much respect announcing he now visits Nairaland - In fact being seen on Nairaland will diminish his reputation.

@Violent & Co

Do you remember my intial response and the person I named as another 'Religous Crook'

It would appear I'm being censored whenever I speak some 'very very true truths'

Its becoming frustrating.

Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Ede, founder of Catholic Prayer Ministry of the Holy Spirit, Elele, Rivers State, is perhaps the first Catholic priest whose miracle works remain immensely popular. Ede has a penchant for breaking of curses and healing the sick through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The monthly miracle programme he organises at the Pilgrimage Centre, Elele attracts Christians from all parts of the country who desire breakthroughs in life.

Beyond the transformations Ede has brought to the style of worship in the Catholic church, he has also established reputable academic institutions. He is the proprietor of OSISATEC, a polytechnic in Enugu and Madonna University , Uli, where emphasis is placed on academic excellence and moral upbringing of students

But even at that, let's say make a few assumptions:

given no prior business background or jackpot, l would be assuming that he started his church business on a budget sum, let's assume being modest, 500 grand.

This money was to take care of renting church buildings, buying equipments, tv campaigns etc etc.

Let's assume that for the first year of this church business, he managed a seizable congregation of 200 people.  Let's say the average person pays 200 naira offering every Sunday.  Given 48 days a year, this sums to  1.92 million annually.

This amount doesn't really look like something you could build a university, biggest church in Africa, and own a fleet of cars plus an expensive jet on!

there's got to be someone paying for those--No?

It shocks me the way the poor could be convinced to part with their savings, all for the already rich guy to add more cars to his garage! I think I am going to begin a campaign against tithe giving!
Politicians and their own 'ill gotten' gains need to be added to the equation.

They normally like to pay thanksgiving via the 'Religous Men'

Plus from experience these dudes like to conduct multiple collections as well as multiple services daily.

Then you get the 'extra desperate' looking for a special request or 'emergency miracle'.

And then the 'Anti-Juju' services some of them perform.

Also the 'Prayer Warrior' services.

And then the 'Material Donations' they like to solicit.

I could go on forever . . . . . .

@ekt bear & Sun of god:

To be honest, i don't quite get why these things just happen to be a norm in Nigeria?  I used to think the Oyedepo dude was into gold business before establishing his multimillion naira church business, apparently i was wrong, thus the curiosity, how did he become so rich?

wealth is a zero sum game, unless you have a printing machine in your room, who's / what's paying for this dude's luxurious lifestyle?

why doesn't anyone question anyone's source of riches in Nigeria? it's quite disturbing to be honest!
It all boils down to ignorance.

But as the saying goes - A 'Fool' and their 'Money' are soon 'Parted'

Hope Sanusi has taken into consideration what may happen to the economy if there is a run on the banks and people rush to withdraw all their money.

Its quite possible the Banks will collapse followed by the economy.

He better go back to his 'Masters' and rethink this one.

As for the Senate, they only worry about themselves and not the average Nigerian.

Coca Cola are more than familiar with the above discipline.

From what I see it doesn't apply to all 'countres' and all 'types of people'.
None of those things are relevant. Wage should be whatever the market demands. If I can find a guy to do your job for less money then you are asking, then who cares about any of the above factors?

I remember a couple years ago when I had to hire someone to design a website. Some guy wanted to charge me $75/hour for his labor. So it'd have cost me 2-3K. I asked him to justify the price. . . he gave me a bunch of reasons. Many of which I'm sure are good.

So what did I end up doing? I found two guys in Poland to do the job. I paid both of them combined $1K, saving an enormous amount of money and actually getting a better product than what the first guy wanted to sell me.

That is the way things should work. Let everyone compete. Workers compete against each other (thus driving down labor costs), employers compete against each other (thus driving UP labor costs.)
None of the above are relevant?

In most developed nations there are labour laws that stipulate the minimum wage.

The wage level set is normally in relation to the cost of living.

Not just in the public sector but also in the private sector.

Hence employers find it harder to exploit workers as they may be fined by the Govt.

Nigeria does not have such enforcible laws - Hence Foreign and Private businesses can dictate the amount they pay their workers.

I think it would be fair to say that wages should be linked to:

Profitability - The more the company earns, the more they pay the employees
Inflation - Price of goods and services rise, then so should wages
Living costs - Wages to refelect local living costs?

Hmm, I can see I stirred the pot, people have different point of views this is a forum!! all I did was express mine and I get insults, you do not comment on the unnessesary use of profanity by 'sun of god' maybe because he's a Christian? pathetic!
This is the 3rd post in which you have labelled me a Christian.

Where did you get this information from?

Are you speculating or just trying to be clever?

The profanity used forms part of my vocabulary. Its a form of expression in the English Language.

I have no problem abusing the language because it is not my 'fathers tongue'.

In a unimportant public forum such as this I will always summon the most appropriate word to express myself - no matter how profane.

My 'Vocab' is second to none - I'm highly educated and have never had a problem communicating my thoughts in the most appropriate manner.

The only point I wish to make with you is that you didn't create yourself - So accept there must be a 'Creator' that has allowed you to experience both the good and bad in this world.
