coolsammy1: Hello house,

congrats to all those who have gotten their trv...and for all others still waiting God will do your own....

please I want to hear your opinions on the chances of a Bsc degree holder in one field with an admission to do a diploma in another field getting a visa. I heard its difficult getting a visa with a diploma...how true is that
Someone once told me that its so very dificult getting a trv with ordinary diploma, I looked down on that chose ordinary diploma went ahead and applied for my trv in oct but was denied based on purpose of study and lenght of study. All still came down to that fact that u can't get a trv with diploma. Pls if u already have bsc go for pgd and if u do not kindly choose bsc or BA in ur field o.

Anointed111: . The course thing doesn't really matter except ur denial was based on the facet that d deploma course u wanted going for is not in line with ur BSC..... 2ndly, saying anyth contarary to what u said in ur 1st application...( Am now making reference to the marriage ish).. Would not only hand u a straight denial...but might stand against ur subsequent applications in d future..... So pls maintain what u said earlier if u want to be trusted.......... Am just saying though frm what l think..the gurus would make it clearer to u by taking it up frm here..grin
@ Anointed111 thank you for your response, just a littly clarification. The course thing doesn't really matter except ur denial was based on the facet that d deploma course u wanted going for is not in line with ur BSC.. Do you mean I can change my course of study?
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 5 by sunshineendles: 8:44pm On Dec 23, 2013
ChriGo: ....On a normal day its cool to remain consistent with Embassy...but since the new course goes inline with ur previous course then I see nothing bad in changing it....as for the marriage, I advice you think twice about it...the date of marriage reflects on certificate and Embassy might wanna wonder why you lied in the first place that you aint married...this might affect your second application and I think consistency plays a huge role with visa App as ur previous file with them can always come in handy should incase they have any doubt......

@ Chrigo! Thank u very much, I sent you an email concerning this. This is a big relief

Your post is a little confusing.
You seem to be changing your story a lot from your first application.
What story is the TRUTH.
If you have lied or are going to lie this time
they will find out and you can expect ban.

Your response to my post shows u don't understand my question! Can I change course of study to one that's related to my bsc field?

Can I also change school because the school next intake is september and I cant wait that long?

Thirdly married but seperated, said single cos I don't have any of my docx that shows my husbands name

Please I need advice

Hello house! Please I need someone to advice me concerning this. My visa was denied last month, I'm about re-appyling, someone adviced that I should maintain my previous sourse of study and I already have another LOA of another school. Do you think I should go ahead with pgd hrm of another school which is related to my bsc, or I shld maintain social service worker ordinary diploma that I previos chose, what do you think?

Secondly can I mention that I'm married contradicting what I said in my previous application? Also I don't have any of my docx in my change of name, but I have afidavit of change of name

monique2002: hey guys kinda need some advise. i ve been going thru this thread for days now (parts 1 to 4) and also some other research, but just decide to ask a straight question, if anyone has got an answer. i will soon be thru wit my masters in Germany ( just remaining my thesis) and am thinking of migrating to Canada to study a one year PGD in social work cuz i don't want to study for another two years masters course. so my question is will i be able to register and work as a social worker after graduation? and what is the best province to do so? i also hear u are give one year work permit for PGD courses. i don't mind, but i just want to know where will be easier to get a social worker job. thanks

I'm also going for social work(gerontology) at sheridan college ontario. Its always good to apply for a program that has minimum of one year and half. Because you would be given 2years study permit. Never go for a program with short duration. Its at your disadvantage

You would understand better....

You don't need any agent. If you do, you are giving him or her free money. There is nothing so serious about it. Wise up

francspencer: Hello house, wish someone could answer this questions for me,

Am planning on travelling to the UK, but at same time want to apply for Canada study permit while am away in UK, will this their online application work for me?

My major fear is they will tell me to drop my passport when i go for Bio metrics how true is that?

Or should I travel to the UK and apply from there?

Abeg which levels sef?

Sure!!! Online works everywhere, my fear for is u might need to do medics and biometrics there. You might also be required to pickup ur TRV where you do your biometrics you know? As for wether your passport would be needed for you biometric, I don't think so because when I went for mine, I gave them my intl passport and the lady doing biometrics asked me wether I'm aware I'm nt supposed to come with my original intl passport that only the data page is needed.and I aswered NO! But to be on the safest side, I ll advice you go with it.

Amazing information. I never knew candidates are allowed to do medics upfront without CIC instruction. .hmmm

So how did you get the medical form and details such as UCI and IME numbers? Please shade more light on this info.

UCI and IME would be generated automatically after payment of application fee, it comes in form of something that looks like receipt. And another informing you to go for biometrics. As for medics, you will just tell them you want to do upfront medics, a form will be given to you to fill and a copy of ur intl pasport data page would be needed. That's all. At the end you would be given a form stating that you have done medics. Meaning u need to scan and attach with ur docs
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 5 by sunshineendles: 6:07pm On Nov 07, 2013
Yep Chrigo, I did upfront medics, even biometrics, because my sister adviced I do that considering the duration of period btwn now and the resumption date (winter 2014). That prompted me to gather all my docx b4 submitting my application online. including medics, police reports, I have also paid the schl fees. I scanned all my docx and uploaded them on cic.gc.ca website.
