Put an mtn sim in your modem. Then on pc, open your MTN fastlink interface, click on tools and click Diagnostics you will see the IMEI number then.

Put an mtn sim in your modem. Then on pc, open your MTN fastlink interface, click on tools and click . you will see the IMEI number then.

Kk. Thanks for d warning! I'm currently on 4.2.1 and I will like to jailbreak and upgrade to 4.3 because I need to install garage band which requires ios 4.3 to run. I will be glad if any one could explain to me how I can jailbreak and upgrade as well. Thanks!

Ok, if you got your iPhone newly, it is possible you don't have 4.3 shsh if you've never jailbreak before that simply means you cannot upgrade to iOS 4.3. Anyway you are still in luck, Apple is still signing iOS 5.0.1 and 5.0.1 is fully jailbroken which means you can still upgrade to iOS 5.0.1 now and have an untethered jailbreak. But remember, if you rely on Gevey or Rebel to unlock your iPhone 4, make sure you preserve your baseband while upgrading so that you don't lose your unlock.

Coming from symbian, it was a joy having so much access to an iphone's guts. So many tweaks, so many apps, almost the entire appstore for free, usb drive function, anythg i could think of! I've pushed it to limits twice now and [b]each time i get stuck, i Just restore to factory full warranty state. [/b]Running iOS 4.3.3 now but I'm stuck again. Think I'm going up to iOS 5.0.1 next so Yes. It's very much worth it.

Im sorry, i dont really know how they reunlocked my phone to make the apps work but no recognization of my mtn sim. The phone was made in America but it came locked.I had to send it to computer village to be unlocked.when unlocked it could browse ,receive and make calls. i then later updated to ios5 and problems started.The carrier is now - carrier lab 11.0. Can Gevey Ultra sim fix my phone?

Since, you are using rebel sim, make sure you preserve your baseband while upgrading to iOS 5. If you don't [/b]know much about preserving baseband while upgrading, I think you should let someone that knows how to do it do it for you, if not you [b]may end up upgrading your baseband and at the end your iPhone 4 will be just like an iPod Touch 4.
