Forum Games / Nairaland Age Group Survey (reloaded) by supaeagles(m): 5:35am On Jul 24, 2013
There was a recent survey done about age groups: Link which was a brilliant idea since it should have helped give us an idea of the age demographics of NLers. However the implementation was not great in my opinion as it required people to make individual posts and the final results were :
1) It ended up being 10+ pages long with one having to go through and tally each age group individually and so defeated the purpose. (Unless people actually carried out that tedious exercise)
2) There was no privacy as people were asked to identify their age groups individually. What would have been better would have been aggregated data so that there would have been more responses.
To achieve all this, we actually need a poll but since we do not have this ability on the forum (to my knowledge) then the next best thing is to utilize the "like" feature. This way, we can see all the results on the first page and also there is better privacy in submitting this information. So, with permission from the OP of the original thread, Mr. Oluwamykel, I'll borrow the age groups you listed:

.. below 15.. 15-20,.. 21-25,.. 26-30,.. 31-45,.. 46-50,.. 51 & above...

Just click "like" in your age category so that we have a poll/vote.. thanks. I'll be putting a running total manually ..I've added a chart too.

(Thank you mod(s) for putting this on FP and especially thanks to all NLers for participating in this poll)

In today's technology day and age there has to be a better way we can poll this data by providing an electronic poll hosted on this site, where users can provide data just one and ultimately what we see is the aggregated results and not the individual results like is shown here....

Finidi also achieved a bit of world wide fame with his celebration at the 1994 FIFA World Cup, when he went an all fours like a dog urinating after scoring against Greece.....
grin grin grin
Here's a video of the goal and subsequent celebration
Did he ever give an explanation as to why he celebrated like that .. cheesy.. was it in response to something that may have been said? That was a sweet goal btw and watching the build up to that goal reminded me how that was arguably the BEST super eagles team we have has till date.

Career / Re: After 2.2, He Wants To Start Again From O'level! by supaeagles(m): 8:13pm On Jul 22, 2013
Many of us do switch fields but there is no point going as far back as O levels. I would suggest that you take foundation level courses for your new subject matter and then build up upon that. Also note that just subject matter skills are not sufficient. You need to build complimentary skills sets : communication skills - people skills, time management, working in a team, leadership, requisite IT skills etc.

PS: I switched fields. Though it has been a struggle, it is beginning to pay off by God's Grace.

sincerenigerian: Stop displaying stupidity! Under age marriage is practiced in many parts of the world including USA. 13 year old can get married in US with parental nod. Take your religious war to Saudi Arabia.
sincerenigerian: You are another confused son of a slut trying to show muscle. Educate yourself more about under age marriage before displaying your lunacy.
Go through the link state by state: http://marriage.about.com/cs/teenmarriage/a/teenus.htm
@sincerenigerian & @ Bleep.u.sexkills: you are wrong! Age of consent is NOT below 16 in ALL US states : see link .
About.com is not the best source but using it for the state of Oklahoma it is clearly stated : "A person who is under the age of 16 may not get married in Oklahoma without a court order" - and good luck getting that!
