Infant analysis, biafra will be a failed country with alot of Visa bans while oduduwa and arewa will be no different from Benin and Niger republic, look just face the truth because as it is now no region can be self sufficient except the Niger Delta in short arewa and oduduwa have better chance because of sea access and agriculture if you know you know. FYI Ireland can never be more developed than the uk
Ur analysis is not balanced. If u go by geopolitical zones, stop deceiving yourself by mentioning Arewa. Will u finally kill off d indigenes of Benue, Taraba, Jos etc and add to your Arewa? They don't want you. Stop forcing yourself on them.

Agriculture, desertification taking its toll on the north. Esp the core north. Even with the government subsides like fertilizer, tractors etc. The yields are insignificant. We import more food than we produce in this country.

Biafra, even if they are forced to go with their 5 SE states as you always pray and wish, only their unexplored oil wells can run the economy.

Look Mr Man I have been reading some stupid comments of how economic activities will crash in Nigeria if igbos leave, but what you fail to understand is that business is all about space when you guys leave others will take over in short I remember when northern leaders asked igbos leave some people we're happy saying let them go so they can take over those shops and type of business they do.
Well, You can take over their businesses... But know it that hunger and starvation will finish the core north in no distant time.

Majority of core northerners earn salaries from government agencies Army, Police, Nnpc, immigration, Phcn, Civil service etc. There will be no more funds from oil sales to finance this.

Don't think that groundnut pyramid will do any magic.

By the time all d oil blocs and wells will change hands, u guys will be grateful to even be alive.

How was security under Yaradua? Where they herdsmen, BH, Militants etc?

Did he witch hunt pple with state agent like DSS, efcc, icpc?

He was so much criticised by pdp and oppositions... Was there freedom of speech? Did he gag the press?

So why would an igbo person sabotage amotekun? This is really sad. Honestly.

YarAdua is a bad leader and he has nothing to offer Nigerians. He spent 3years on the seat shouting 7 point Agenda without executing one point till his death.

Wicked beings, Keep showing your selves. You are a Fulani jihardist.

You are angry your brother was a liberal Muslim that didn't play your Islamist agenda ball and you poisoned him.

Buhari has done his worst already. Ruga didn't sail through. Self defense is getting awakened in Nigerians. I pity you ordinary herdsmens defending him. You will all bear the brunt in due time. Keep supporting evil.

Yaradua was one of the most criticised presidential candidate by Igbos in the history of Nigeria.

They called him
sickler
slowpoke
They wished him dead even when he was alive.

Niger delta and other militants sprung up in the SS and SE when he emerged the president. Yaradua was looked down upon only to out performed Jonathan.

Yaradua only became hero when Jonathan performed less to expectation unlike yaradua.
Lair, shame on you!

The Igbos supported him greatly for he was a man of rule of law. He undid a lot of injustices meted to Igbos esp by the OBJ administration.

Ibeto cement factory was reopened. Yaradua even acknowledged the unfair treatment done to Ibeto that he gave him import waivers to cover up damages. Even to the chagrin of Dangote who challenged the order in court.

He began working for Alamesigha's case to be transferred to Nigeria, so he can grant him presidential pardon. For he saw Alams was witch hunted by OBJ, though of them were corrupt. He wanted sanity.

He gave ND militants amnesty, for he saw that they had been treated unfairly. His Islamist brothers starred Boko Haram, thinking he would support them, he fought them to extinction.

He was a liberal Fulani moslem. This was the main reason the Fulani islamist Mafia hated him.

Biafra agitators then, Massob wasn't getting attention from people because their wasn't anything to agitate for again. He has corrected a lot of evils OBJ started.

He was correcting a lot of lopsidies in federal service like postings and promotions in the Army, police etc. much to the annoyance of the islamist.

Stop twisting arguments. Igbos love him, He loved everyone. He wasn't partial.

Pls feel free to name anywhere in the east where a non igbo is ever short changed? Just one, I bet you, I will give you 10k now.

Stop repeating all these malicious lines invented by politicians. Lands are bought with money, how can a mai ruwa, kiosk operator, agbo seller, tailor and other low income earner have so much to buy land. You can only buy land if you are rich enough for it.

Not all igbos are rich enough to buy lands in the north. Will they now say, they were denied of buying lands.

ibo people don't hate northerners, but they insult, abuse and ridicule them everyday.
Insult, ridicule them... Where? In their land Kaduna, kano where?

Apart from nairaland and some social media platform where racial/ tribal bickering is the norm. Where have they been ridiculed?

Nigerians do engage in banter with Ghana, Kenya, South Africa etc online... How is that hatred?

The only reason you are in the North is for survival and your daily bread which pretty much doesn't exist in ibo land. You are not there to help or give medicine to anybody so stop condescending as if you are better than them.
Saying that daily bread can't be gotten in IBO land is out of malice. It's subtle hatred. It's all part of the ugly life style we Nigerians live.

People migrate to wherever they feel they better opportunity.
If I say your brothers in the UK, also went there because they would have died of hunger in Nigeria... How is it?

Just the way the Hausa are in the east operating kiosk, mai ruwa etc. The yourubas selling agbo drugs, tailor, taxi etc.

It's business interest don't twist the argument on its head.

And am not saying that am better than anybody if I decide to give back to the Society from where I made my money.

The Igbos cannot learn, they cannot change..
Honestly, you are the ones hating here. If the Igbos hate the north, will they buy their lands and build houses on it. If the Igbos haven't moved on will the NGOs they have in the north be giving free meal, cloth, medication etc to the less privileged in the north.

Ipob is different from igbo.

Ipob are still agitating because of the injustices that are still being meted to them.

A chain reaction indeed. Nothing can be more truer my brother.

Sadly, the final nail to our coffin was Ojukwu RiP

It's high time we free ourselves from Ojukwu Syndrome.

1. Riding on the sympathy of the people, He got into power and started an ego contest with Gowon. Instead of seeking for justice for massacred by the going to the UN or Brits he started seeking for an independent nation.

He wanted to be president by all means.

2. USSR first came to offer support to him, he rebuffed them and they went to Nigeria. He got no major world power backing. War is not fought with bare hand nor bluff.

3. He ran the great Biafra down with no cabinet. Only him alone took major political and military decisions alone. At one point, the great Zik was bundled onto the plane for peace talk against his wish.

4. He didn't surrender until everything went down. People were getting starved to death, being bombed in their homes.
Old men and teenagers were conscripted to fight to death with little or no arms.

He didn't feel the suffering of the people at all.

If he believed so much in this war, he should have refused to leave the battlefield alive or better still commit suicide. Nzeogwu and many others went that way.

May we never experience anything like him again. We shall surely rise, we have risen and we are rising.

1966 Coup by Maj. Nzeogwu – The Biggest Mistake of The Igbo Military Officers & Political Elites

Whenever I read a new book on the January 1966 bloody coup that ended Nigeria’s first indigenous government led by Tafawa Belewa and Nnamdi Azikiwe, tears roll down my eyes.
You are so right my brother, I have always wanted to write about this issue. It so painted the Igbos bad in the eyes of Nigeria. We Nigerians have now hated ourselves so much. And this is the genesis.

I think for proper national reconciliation and healing to begin, the Igbo leadership should have to resitiute to Nigerians first on behalf of the Igbos.

Then the northerners too, for their retaliation was worse.

Boko Haram started during his regime though.

His death is still shrouded in mystery. Some part of me believed he was poisoned by pple who don't want Nigeria to succeed. Maybe CIA or some northern cabals who seemed not happy with his way of enthroning equality at all levels.

Instead of facing their region that is being ruin by their selfish politicians! Their problem is north... Which area(s) are experiencing this betterment in

Ordinary peace, El rufai can't maintain between north and south. He will rather keep supporting one faction against the other.

Zamfara, kebbi govts keep paying bandits to stay away. Is that developments?

Education is a no go area, Industrialization is still dream.

Farming, which the north is known for, has not witnessed any improvements. Their failure at ranching has let their herdsmen loose running over pple's land even with federal backing...
