Arm chair psychologists just jump on any issue on Nairaland and talk utter trash!

It's always amazing to watch.

What is even more amazing is the fact that this whole narrative (the OP and his girlfriend's reply), is a fabrication.

Anyone with "a good eye" can see that both "accounts" (pun intended) was written by the same hand. It is practically impossible for two people, no matter how close to make the same kind of mistake in writing structure as both posts have demonstrated.

Also, someone who graduated from Imperial College London (as the lady claims) will not write or express themselves in such an incoherent and meaningless manner.

The writer is trying to sell you the story that they both work in a Bank or some financial institution of some sort yet communicates in such an uneducated manner one wonders if their bosses are morons.

Even the screenshots are meaningless.

A sham.

Religion / Re: The Great Tribulation Relative To The Time Of Rapture by Supanovarr: 5:19pm On Feb 04, 2020
annyplenty:

What you need to know is that Christians, over the years, have erroneously thought that the great tribulation is going to be for 7 years. I don't think there is anywhere in the bible where that was said. I stand to be corrected. What the bible is very clear about is that the antichrist will rule for seven years. And may be that is where the thought that great tribulation will be 7 years come from.

Now, consider the scripture below

Revelation
9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,

12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.

13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

John, the beloved, saw people from different parts of the world, who made the rapture, in heaven. And John was told that these people came out of great tribulation to heaven.

This statement clearly makes us to know that these people witnessed the great tribulation before they were raptured to heaven. For how long they witnessed the great tribulation we don't know but they witnessed it. After the rapture the great tribulation develops into the wrath of God and reign of antichrist. This we are clearly told will last for 7 years.

The scripture and explanation above agree with the underlined part of the scriptures below

Acts 14:22
22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much (great) tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

I Thessalonians 5:9
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

While the first scripture says it is through the great tribulation we will enter the kingdom of God, the second says we will not see the wrath of God.

Hello,

No where in my post did I say or imply that the tribulation will be for seven years. While you are right that the Antichrist will rule for seven years, you have used some scriptures wrongly to buttress your point concerning tribulation as a whole. I am afraid, your response did not really address my post.

My initial post was in response to your assertion that "the tribulation has started". While we are admonished to watch and pray, we should also be careful of falling into error and using scriptures to fit our narratives.

Let me reiterate, the tribulation has not started. Study your bible very well and other teachers on this topic. Certain things MUST happen before the time of trouble that Jesus Christ talked about.

Shalom.

why did you say it has not started?

The great tribulation has not started. If you read that same Book of Daniel very well you will know this. The Jews will erect another temple first and the Antichrist will sign a peace treaty with Israel that will be broken after three and a half years.

Besides, there is yet one great revival that will happen before these events. One final surge of the Spirit of God that will cause the power of God to sweep through the world. We are at the verge of that revival.

What we have currently are signs of the end of days, and persecutions of Christians. The Bible says the great tribulation will be so horrible that "there will be no time ever like it nor will there be any like it upon the face of the earth"

There will not be a great tribulation (global persecution of Christians) anytime soon because Christianity is the most popular religion in the world. Christians are more likely to be persecutors than the persecuted today. Persecution happens to minorities and the powerless; Christians are numerous and powerful.

There will be a great tribulation. If you are alive then, you will see it with your two eyes. It has nothing to do with popularity but everything to do with divine agenda laid down in the scriptures. Everything the Bible says about The kingdoms of the world up until the time of Jesus Christ(in relation to the Jewish History) has happened precisely. From the time of Christ(using a lunar calendar not a solar one) the 2000years before the last seven years of the great tribulation has run out. We are living on borrowed time. Whether you believe it or not does not mean a single thing. Intellectualism, politics, money, nothing will matter. Only two things will matter: do you believe in Jesus Christ or do you serve the Anti Christ?

I want to really appreciate God for your life sir.

It was really refreshing reading your contributions and maturity displayed.

God bless you sir...

I believe the lord would raise great bible scholars like you who would be able to help bridge the gap between the prophets and the teachers.

My 2 cents is this...

Every man callled by God, works first by the word of God then by the encounters that he has with God.

The OP has been able to carefully outline his, but not all of us, can or would be able to do this has the OP has done.

One thing I would encourage the body of christ to do, Is to calm down and understand through the help of the holy spirit, what ever revelation a man is sharing.

We see in part, prophesy in part, it's all part of the body.

Dont be too quick to being down any one..
Dont be too quick to look for revelation, when its time the lord would reveal himself, not everyone would have that opportunity. If you do good for you, if you dont it is well with you.
As we mature in the things of God.. we continue to know him better
...

Lastly, No man can vouch for any one, We are all men operating under grace.. The man that you thinking is standing with God might be far from even though he is still exhibiting the anointing and power of God.

Thank you very much dear brother. Amen to your prayers.

The bolded parts in your post here are the meat of the matter.

May God bless you richly.

The Sixth And Seventh Book of Moses is an educative and good read bar any desire to be reciting the citations, in the book, which actually are glorified incantations (i.e. "ògèdè" and/or "ọfọ̀"wink It really, is not a book for baby believers/christians though.

Hello, good evening. Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I realize that as Christians, the desire to "know" can be very powerful.

It is a blessing that God our Father put into us and it is good.

But, if not curtailed with self control and spiritual sensitivity, it can lead to destruction.

Having said that, let me bring that to bear in light of your post here. "The sixth and seventh books of moses" should NOT be read by ANY born again child of God. Not even to satisfy curiosity or "educate" one self.

It is a book not written by human mind. The words of that book are straight from Hell! Please stay away from it.

It is a manual for the occult, new age doctrines, and dark spiritual encounters.

Please I beg you in God's name, do not trifle with that book. Please! You will open up your life to demonic infestation and torment.

I speak this to you from my heart. The Bible may not contain all we need to know about God and heaven but it is ALL we need on this earth. The words of the Bible are "spirit and life". The ONLY one you need.

May The Spirit of God breathe upon you.

Peace.

That's why I normally say like I said in one of my posts in the other thread, that the Bible is a spiritual book and not a story book , which one can't understand without the input of the Holy Spirit.

There are so many things in scriptures that I can't even say on nairaland cos many won't understand it.

The Holy Spirit deals with people according to their level of maturity.
The more matured , the more the Spirit open up to you.

That's just the main point of all this. As far as your eye can see you will possess. It is not everything one discusses with some Christians because they won't understand. It will only lead to confusion, arguments and division.

Thanks for all your input. I hope you will begin posting the main things that concern this thread again. That's what I am really here for. I try to avoid bickering and arguments as much as possible. Taking the backseat again after tonight.

Good night and God bless you.

There are scriptures that supports that.

1- Elisha asked Naaman to go dip himself in Jordan and his leprosy will go, and it worked.
2- The Bible talks about the pool of Bethesda where an angel always came to stir the water and Whosoever entered will be healed.
3- Jesus Himself told told the blind man to go wash himself in the pool of Siloam and he did and was healed.

The 2nd and 3rd references were from the new testament.

In the days of Babalola, he normally prayed on water and Whosoever used it was healed and delivered, go read up his biography, same for Orekoya.

Water can be used as a mantle, just like aprons, handkerchiefs, anointing oil, e.t.c

Thanks for your input brother. I actually understand this. What I tried to explain is you wouldn't see places where water was prayed on and then used to minister in the Bible.

However, I have never had a problem with this ministration because I grew up knowing it. I have been blessed by it. I actually grew up in C.A.C. My mum is actually a minister in C.A.C till date. So I know a lot about Apostle Babalola.

In Living Faith Church there is equally a use of water in ministration.

There are many Christians I have met who do not accept or believe this because they want a clear cut instruction from the Bible that says "pray on water and sprinkle, or drink or wash with it.

And, no godly seer or prophet can be hard pressed to say anything outside the Word when the very Word is the Spirit of that prophet. If any man gets led out of the Word of God even by 1% let that person know that he has just taken 1 step towards error sponsored by a deceiving spirit.

Sister,

I will still repeat, we are not in dispute. I have come to understand that a fellow Christian can disagree with another completely on an issue, but it doesn't make them any less saved or members of the same body. As long as the issues or positions they maintain are not heresy and demonic doctrines.

Some of the things I explained are borne out of study and divine inspiration and experience.

I wouldn't want us to argue over this. Or bicker. I will give you two examples of what I mean here.

1. The late man of God Kenneth Hagin operated in the prophetic anointing. One time while ministering healing in a Church meeting, the spirit of God asked him to punch a certain woman who had a growth on her tummy. Hagin got scared and found it difficult to obey. Why? He couldn't think of a single place in the bible where the apostles did this. Actually you won't find any. But a fellow pastor asked him to go ahead if he was sure he heard God. Hagin said he had to even tell the lady first what he needed to do. He punched the woman in the tummy and the growth disappeared.

2. A man of God I know who has the prophetic gift has experienced something similar. His is more relatable because he happened to be the same pastor who did my wedding solemnization. The instruction from the spirit was strange and he was scared because he thought he heard wrong. How do you go hitting people in the name of healing? The resident pastor of his Church had a witness in his spirit and the instruction was carried out and the person was healed instantly.

3. Finally, the OP of this thread once shared on his other thread that God once asked him to fetch water and pray on it and sprinkle it on people's foreheads at a meeting and there were diverse manifestations of God's power as a result. The truth is, there is no clear cut scripture that supports that especially in the New testament spirit that we operate. But, these things happen.

Once again, we are not in contention. I am not pushing you accept nor force these things. But when the Bible says God works in mysterious ways and His ways are past finding out, it really is as the word says.

Peace.

God bless you big. I don't know you but you are definitely very knowledgeable in the unseen...

Remain blessed and thank you for helping straighten things out. I learnt quite a few from you.

The awesomeness of God is inexplicable, we only have to open our hearts.

I'll make reference to what I said earlier, Father God is the sole creator, satan only counterfeits and perverts. Jesus can take whatever form he likes, he is after all the Creator and Spoken Word of God.

I have read that book by JP Timmons. Great read!

Shallom!

Amen! God gives wisdom and insight and understanding.

One thing I am very sure of about prophetic encounters and revelations and spiritual encounters is: you cannot "receive" them or experience them if you keep your understanding of God's might and greatness at a boxed in and "religious" level. Unless the eyes of one's understanding is enlightened, it would be difficult for many Christians to relate to spiritual things.

However, we should still rely on the Holy Spirit and "test" the spirit behind them.

Thank you.

Peace.

Alas!...my brother!!
You've spoken truth and nothing less.
I'm rigid, in fact, very rigid when it comes to spiritual matters. I'd rather be wrong physically than spiritually. If a "prophet" or "seer" declares something that I can't find perfectly in the bible, I find it almost impossible to believe, even if it's just off by 10%. You must understand my fears, I've been burned before by false teachings, the little scriptures I know today is just me trying not to fall, "my people perish for lack of knowledge" declared the Lord. I most certainly would like to know God more, but, truly, I'm afraid. Like I always tell myself "give it time", maybe when I come out of this cage that I've shut myself in to study the word, the Lord will lead me to greater truths.
I must thank you my friend for writing me this.
God bless you.

All Glory to God. All wisdom and insight comes from Him.

My brother, the word of God is powerful beyond compare. But many have limited and even harmed themselves from trying to maintain a rigid approach. You don't need to be afraid. I understand you very well, because I have equally had experience with false teachers. But 2Timothy 1:7 says we do not have the spirit of fear, but of love and a sound mind. Where the spirit of God is there is liberty. Always rely on the Holy Spirit. Ask Him to reveal to you and teach you what confuses you. The following scriptures will help:

Psalm 32:8 and Ephesians 1:17-19. Pray them always. Think on them always. And God our Father will definitely unveil to you that which you require.

For me, I always try to be sensitive to the witness of the spirit. The inward witness never fails. Too bad we don't listen as much as we should.

God bless and keep you and may his light shine upon you.

The way I understand the Bible makes it hard for me to relate to some of the last few comment before this one.
When the Bible says the Holy Spirit descended like a dove upon Jesus. It mean It descended like a dove and not that It "descended as, or in form of a dove".

The Bible is largely an analogous book full of analogies. It also uses symbolism a lot because the world is basically a spiritual world with a physical angle to it.

In fact many things in the physical are meant to communicate the dynamics of the spiritual works to us.

Hello brother, thank you for this comment.

You are actually right, the Bible is full of symbolism and the physical gives expression to the spiritual.

Having said that, let me point out again as I tried to expound from my post. The bolded is exactly one of the things I am talking about. God told Abraham in the Bible in Genesis 13:14-15: And The Lord said unto Abram after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes...for all the land that THOU SEEST to thee will I give it.

In the kingdom of God, it is as you see, or know, or understand that you will possess. It is based on that, that God will relate to you. God often doesn't relate to you based on what you don't know because you can't bear it. He knows it may confuse us and fragment our faith. You see, He loves us so much that He protects us from knowledge that we need but are not ready for.

What you know of the Bible and understand is your experience. God will bless you for it. What another knows more or less will still cause him to be blessed for it.

Now, God can and does take forms. He can because it is under His function as The Almighty God. Job 42:2. However, Bible gives us a guide line on what to expect some times. There are specific forms associated with God. A dove, fire, wind, water, lightning, oil, a rock, a lion. I don't have the time or space to expound them one by one. But, they are symbols as well as forms. The forms speak something of God's nature that's what God chooses these forms.

Members of the kingdom of darkness can assume forms to scare and afflict. Do you know how they can do that? The kingdom of darkness is a corruption and mockery of Heaven. The dark powers corrupted the gifts given to them before the Beginning we know. They can change forms because they learnt to do it. Do you get it?

However, in my Christian experience, I have never seen nor heard of a single instance where a dove appeared to someone to torment or scare. Demonic powers can mimic the forms of fire, water, lightning, wind, rock even lion in order to trick, attack, and destroy lives.

But a dove, no. Why? I don't know.

Brother, I thank you very much for this reply.
1. This you have written is very correct, however it is the way he(micha) described the Lord that is very wrong. As you said and as I reiterated in confirmation that the dove is unique to the Holy Spirit and the lamb to Jesus, this doesn't mean the Lord transforms from lamb to man, he appears in that form mostly to symbolise a certain virtue of His, meekness and sacrifice in case of the lamb. Saying Jesus transforms into an eagle he calls chazah is as blasphemous as saying the Holy Spirit transforms into a serpent called, say "lona". I agree that the evil one corrupts God's works but that is not enough reason to say the Lord transforms, God is represented by certain animals for symbolism mostly, all of my spiritual convictions are based solely upon what I read and understand from the scriptures, so far I've not seen anything to confirm that God changes form for show.

2. This is also true but let me contribute to it (to show distinction between certain terminologies). Micha said the dragon carries the burning Holy Flame of God(God's SPIRIT) contained in his heart. If any creature can CONTAIN the spirit of God, then that creature is, in essence God. Only Jesus contained God's spirit because he was/is God. The spirit of God had rested ON but never IN man, it is the spirit that leads, the flesh profiteth nothing. The spirit rested on Saul and he was changed, the spirit rested on David, Moses, Abraham etc and they did good works, but the Spirit rested IN Jesus as He was God, by the spirit of God in Him, He forgave sins even as a man upon the earth as He was exercising His right as God by the spirit dwelling IN Him.Now micah said the dragon had the Spiritof God IN it, making the dragon a carrier of the devine. I wish to say this, the Holy Spirit does not literally put the spirit of God in men but the fear of God, as it says to "work out your salvation in fear and trembling" and again "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom".....and to be wise is to know truth, and to know truth is to know the Holy Spirit(spirit of truth), and to know the Holy Spirit is to fear God. Truly, it's a cycle that keeps the ZEAL of God burning in believers.

3. Truly, my brother, I don't know much about science. But this I know, the founding fathers of such scientific theories were all satanic freemasons. Can evil beget good?.....I know there is a firmament(dome) above the skies, I know that the firmament is as MOLTEN glass according to the scriptures, I know nasa has never done a live feed from "space", I know the photos of "planets "and "galaxies" from nasa are all cgi, and I know God made everything for a purpose...I do not yet know the purpose of "galaxies" and "planets".

I would like to thank you once again.
Peace to you, brother.

Peace to you too. We are all at different levels of understanding and experience and we are to help one and other. All we know we have received. So no man can glory.

Like I stated before, I sincerely do hope the Spirit of God ministers to your heart on some of these things.

In light of that, I want to say something to you. Please I beg you in God's name do not take this the wrong way. It is very important to me that you don't. My desire is that it leads you and myself and everyone else on this thread to fresh encounters with God. I believe in my heart that you need to know this:

1. While the word of God is the foundation for everything we are and seek, there are certain dimensions of that word and experiences of a prophetic and supernatural nature that you will not encounter unless you have faith like a child. Please my brother think carefully on these words. I sense the Holy Spirit wants to unveil something to you.

Being a Bible Scholar is great, but don't let it box in your mind. Especially when it is a narrow view of the Bible. This is one reason why "Teachers" of the word and "Prophets" always clash sometimes. Because those who are "Teachers" often follow to the latter what they can see and sometimes literarily interpret from the Bible. The "Prophet" sometimes may be led to do something or say something that he can't find a clear cut direct reference in the Bible. They ignore the instruction sometimes because it doesn't seem to agree with the word.

I feel pressed to tell you that you need to develop your mind like a child when it comes to the things of God. Job 42:2 comes to mind here. God will only show himself to you based on what you know of Him and believe. When you believe God can be more than you know and believe, He will give you access to more of Him and things of the spirit that you never believed were possible.

I sense a rigidness around you and it has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with you accepting my views or what I post. Because it is the Holy Spirit that convicts and reveals not man.

There are certain things in my life I never thought were possible or God could grant a man. But I have learned. Please I apologize if you feel offended. I was emboldened to share this with you based on your last response to the OP. Ask the Lord to show you or breathe upon His word for you. You will be amazed at how eager the Holy Spirit is to answer your questions. Even on the little seemingly inconsequential details of your life.

Once again, I hope you take this in love and understanding.

God bless you.

Wow.
I'm super impressed.
If you check my own reply to his statement I said most of the stuffs he saw on Micah's blog are blasphemous.

I agree with everything you said in totality, I intentionally didn't want to point out the little mistake he made there, cos I felt it was necessary I encouraged him, but thank God who saw my heart desire and decided to use you to make the corrections.

The universe is actually Biblical, however God doesn't carry it on his head, and Jesus doesn't transform to an eagle, that's an insult, neither can any man claim to see the heart of God, heaven can't celebrate Christmas, and Jesus can't invite him to sit on God's throne and other blasphemous stuffs on that post.

We Christians can indeed carry the seven spirits of God, will talk about this in another thread.

Your contributions on my topics have always been spot on.

Concerning Micha's Blog, even though I know of modern day people with the seer anointing, I find it troubling. A strange kind of troubling. I am going to pray and ask for more insight over this. There is a specific reason why. I hope to share my thoughts later.

People of God, I just read that micha's blog and these are the absurdities I found therein:
It says;
1.that Jesus transforms to an eagle he calls chazah.[the son of man is not a shapeshifter, that's the work of demons]
2.that aviok atune (the dragon he spoke with) had the holy flame of God burning in his chest. [The holy flames of God are the seven lamps burning before the throne of God which are the seven spirits of God. They don't burn in any creature.]
3.that he (micah) looked right into the face of God. [No man can see my face and live declared the LORD, even the angels in heaven don't see God's face].
4.that he wanted to fall before God but kept his gaze on the LORD. [All the prophets in the bible didn't choose to fall and worship God(Jesus), His glory brought them to their knees whenever he appeared to them, even the glory of a cherubim brought prophet Daniel almost to a state of unconsciousness]
5.that the appearance of God is like silver and gold. [In the book of revelations it says that the appearance of God is like jasper and sardine stones].
6.he saw God's heart and heard God's heartbeat. [He saw the core of God?]
7.he said God carries the universe on his head like a crown. [The Lord made the Heavens and the earth...the universe is science fiction.]
8.the veil of fire initially covering God's face lifted and he looked into God's green eyes. [The blasphemy is obvious here].
9. Says he entered into God's heart.
10. Says Jesus wore a leather jacket and jeans. [The most high cannot break the law by wearing clothes of diverse fabrics ie jeans]
11. That a small angel landed on his shoulder to rest. [Angels are spirit and they rest neither day nor night].
12. That they celebrated Christmas in heaven. [Christmas is a pagan, man-made holiday and the Lord does not celebrate man-made let alone pagan holidays].
13. That Jesus invited him to sit on God's throne with him. [Jesus doesn't ever sit on God's[the father] throne. He sits on His own throne on God's right hand].

This is as far as I read before I exited his blog. As you can see from the above, that man is not genuine.
My advice to his readers(current and intending).......RUN!!.
Peace to you all.

Hello Brother. How are you doing today. I have seen your posts on this thread and even on the other cultism thread. There is something about you that I appreciate so much. You seem to possess a deep reverence and holy fear for the Almighty God. It is quite good.

Sorry to intrude but I thought I should wade in on three things you stated here. I have no issue with what your post but I feel we are all still learning about the wonders and mysteries of God. Please note, my response here relates to your words in bracket.

1. I don't think transformation or shape shifting (which is more a language of pop culture) as you call it can solely be termed "the work of demons". Revelation 5:6 shows us The Lord Jesus Christ as:"...in the midst of the elders stood, a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent forth into all the earth". We also know that Jesus is referred to as a Lion. Remember, John saw what is contained in the book of Revelation.

The Scriptures also shows us the Holy Spirit who is still God in the form of a Dove. Mathew 3:16: And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightaway out of the water, and lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he SAW the spirit of God descending like a dove, and LIGHTNING upon him

Actually, there are two transformational manifestations in this verse. "A Dove" and "Lightning". You must realize something brother: everything in the kingdom of darkness is a dark, negative inverted counterpart to what is found in the kingdom of God. The devil simply organized his kingdom as a mockery and corruption of what he knew when he was still in glory.

There is a book called Mysterious Secrets of The Dark Kingdom by pastor J.P Timmons. Quite a book. Pastor Timmons detailed an account of a former servant of the devil who was saved and delivered. According to the book, one primary reason this former satanic agent was delivered was because the Holy Spirit manifested to the individual in his room in the form of a dove! This was particularly telling to the man because according to him, the members of the kingdom of darkness can transform into a myriad of things but the one form they can never assume is a dove! This is what convinced the man that the spirit in the form of a dove was something different. It was even more significant because it wasn't a dream, or trance. The man saw a dove fly into his room and spoke to him.

It is interesting to note too that the OP describes something identical to this in page 2 of this thread. God manifested to him as The Ancient of Days and Jesus Christ was present as a younger version of the old man with white hair(the OP's words not mine). The Holy Spirit manifested as a Dove and tongues of fire. To manifest, is to reveal or show or present something in a specific or given form. Remember, God is unquantifiable. Sometimes He appears to you depending on how much of Him you know and How much of Him you can bear or interact with.

Let me provide a very practical example of this. Many Christians who are members of the Living Faith Church have detailed supernatural encounters and healings in their dreams. Many of the accounts often say that they saw Bishop David Oyedepo appear to them in their dreams and ministers healing or deliverance to them. The Oyedepo they see in the dream is not the man himself. It is the Holy Spirit that manifests to them in a way they can relate to. In that regard, God takes the form of a man to touch his children. Why? Because He can! He IS the Almighty. God came to Abraham and dined with him in the form of a man: Genesis 18:1-3
And the Lord appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre...and he lift up his eyes and looked, and lo, three men stood by him

2. You said the holy flame of God doesn't burn in any creature. We are vessels that carry the spirit of God inside us. What are the seven spirits of God?(which are all expressions of the Holy Spirit) Isaiah 11:2 gives us a first coalition of what they are: And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom, and understanding, the spirit of counsel, and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. The Holy Spirit descended in the form of fire on the day of Pentecost with the operations of this seven spirits. Note: the gifts of the spirit are closely tied to this seven spirits when you study deeply.

We know also that the word of God is still the spirit of God. "The words I speak unto you they are spirit and they are life". Jeremiah 23:29 says: Is not MY WORD like as a fire sayeth the Lord, like a hammer that breaketh the rocks in pieces(while I wrote these words, the Spirit of God made me see that the word of God in your mouth gives tangible form to whatever the word says for a desired effect in the realm of the spirit. Because the word is creative). Also, I can say from personal experience that the anointing of the Holy spirit upon a man burns like fire. Upon him and within him. It is worthy of note that God(The Father, Son and Holy Spirit) seems to have a very strong affinity for fire! Fire is ever a constant around his throne and his presence. A Christian who carries the spirit of God literally carries the life giving fire of the Eternal God. In that regard, we as God's creation burn with his flame.

3. Finally, you mentioned that the universe is science fiction. I find this a delight! I am actually an author of science fiction. And the first thing I will tell you is this: a true Christian who approaches the greatness of God either through Quantum physics, Astrophysics, Theoretical Physics or High Energy Physics always end up awed and shocked at the implications of what science reveals(however limited) in relation to the Bible.

Brother, the Universe is not science fiction. What I may consider as science fiction is the idea of a multi verse(different universes existing). At least we know of nine readily observable planets out there in space. Every child knows this. The sun, moon, stars, planets(including the earth) galaxies make up our universe. Just last month, the very first confirmation and image for a black hole was broadcast around the world.

Science doesn't contradict the Bible. Do you know that what you call the "the heavens" from the original Greek and Hebrew text of the Bible was the only way the writers could render what they perceived as space? There is a woman called Sarah Salviander. A former Atheist and an exceptional scientist. You should check her out. She is one of the best examples I have seen for a Christian who worships God through her work and shows how science agrees with the Bible. And even more.

Also, please study The Psalms and The Book of Job prayerfully and with seeking. You will be shocked at what you will learn.

I do hope the Spirit of God ministers to you on these things. I just thought to shed some light on those three salient points.
God bless you richly brother.

It was those challenges I had that made me to fast for 8years nonstop eating only once at night , it also helped me to study the scriptures extensively and intensively.

That's why when people said it was ignorance that made me fast and read the Bible the way I did, I just laugh it off, cos they are actually the ignorant ones.

No normal human can fast that long without grace.

The funny thing is that I was stronger than people who were carrying weight.

I was physically like someone with full blown aids, after the 8years, but was extremely fat spiritually.

Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all things shall be added.

Hello brother, good morning. I have followed your threads for quite a while(three of them I think). I must say they have been a blessing. I rarely comment on topics because of the constant bickering and all. But this particular thread has been a delight for me.

May the good Lord continue to bless and sustain you.

Also, I love your knowledge of God's word and how you apply it in your responses. Your maturity in dealing with infighting and enquiries is commendable. God bless you.

I almost sent you a private message about two weeks ago to say these things and also to tell you to be wary of a particular moniker here that professes God and apparently supports you but I decided against. I didn't want to give a wrong impression(plus avoid bickering) and besides, anyone who can display the spirit of wisdom such as you have done here surely knows how to handle his business.

May God bless you and reveal himself more and more to you.

Peace.

Wow. What an edification! An edification indeed!

I really appreciate. May the good Lord continue to edify you by the Spirit of Christ.

Thanks.

God bless

Amen.

Also, try and obtain and study(if you haven't) these books: "The Kneeling Christian" by The Unknown Christian and "Tongues Beyond The Upper Room" by Kenneth Hagin. They will be of immense blessing to you in the study of prayer and growing in prayer.

Stay blessed.

Hello, good morning brother. Sorry to intrude, but just thought to say something on this question you asked the OP.

Praying for 4-16 hours a day is something you grow into. It is the Holy Spirit that gives you the grace through the spirit of Grace and Supplication and also the Spirit of Might. It doesn't start automatically. You build yourself into it from 1hour to 2hours and so on.

You must be willing to tarry in the place of prayer also. Because the Holy Spirit responds to our heart call.

In addition, praying for 4hours to 16hours can only be managed with praying in the spirit. That is praying in tongues. You really can't pray for 3hours or even 2hours in your understanding. You will find yourself repeating words and drifting in thought and alertness.

Finally, the more you engage praying in the spirit according to God's words you will be surprised to find one day that you have been praying for hours.

P.s: This type of prayer also involves "praying on the move". " Pray without ceasing" means live IN prayer. I can pray while doing the dishes, I can pray while walking or even sing in tongues, or while on my bed. But you will realize you can only do this in tongues. I hope this helps you.

God bless you

@bolded is my main point of interest. How do you perform such great a task?

Do you set the clock when praying? or is it an accumulation of different praying hours daily, thereby making it sum up to 4-16hours?

I asked this question because I'm wondering how someone will kneel, lie, stand or walk around praying maybe from 6am-10pm daily. O what a special Grace from the throne of God's Grace!

Please give me proper highlights on prayer that I may enter such grace you are in by the help and comfort of the Holy Spirit through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Thanks.

God bless. [/quote]

Ser Arthur Dane "The Sword of The Morning" is the best swordsman in the Show Game of Thrones and the books. No one in the show living or dead could/can match him in a straight fight. Not Jamie, Jon, Arya or Oberyn. Jamie spoke of him with awe. The little that was shown about him in the "Tower of Joy" scene where he singlehandedly cut down every one of Ned Stark's men was simply exceptional! It is a testament to his skill being able to wield two swords at the same time with equal impact.

His description in the books confirms him as about the best and deadliest fighter.

BafanaBafana:
Who among these is the best swordsman:
Jamie Lanistar (with two hands)
Prince O'Brien
Jon Snow
Brien of Tart
Stannis Baratheon
Ser Jorah Mornmont
Sandor Cleagane (the hound)

Your list is missing one name. The legendary swordsman who killed The Smiling Knight. Your list is missing Ser Arthur Dane "The Sword of The Morning". No one on this list comes close to his skill with a sword.

Hello applicants,

We have been receiving applications from unsuitable people – MSc, 2:1 etc.. Please note, we are only interested in third class/lower credit and lower at OND/HND/BSc level. We may consider 2:2.

If you’re 2:1, 1st or masters, please don’t apply. Yes, we hire MSc/PhD, but that is another recruitment process entirely.

Thank you

Do you know Nnedi Okorafor? She once made a statement: "when you are stupid and I tell you that you are stupid, it is not pride. It is the order of the universe".

You should meditate on that. Also, you just gave yourself away with your typical response that indicates I am proud. That is you projecting your insecurities. I will not sabotage myself just to make you feel good.

Once again in case you didn't get it. I am an experienced writer and as sure as the good Lord made little apples, I am good at what I do. I know this business. And this your offer stinks. It is miserable and it is hopeless.

Finally, drop the act. It is a sham. It will take you nowhere. No Masters holder or PhD holder will/has apply(ied) for your " jobs".

Have a nice life.

It is too quick to mention what you know nothing about.

We are a fair company. This is not a difficult task; a smart SS3 boy will do it in 2 hours. Anyone who has tested university education should complete it in one hour or less. Most of the pages will be charts. The words there won't be more than 500 and they are based on the many charts. Don't rush into saying what you have no idea about.

Meanwhile, have you heard any of our employees come to say they are underpaid? For the right talents, we pay above market rate in what we do.

Don't be too quick to say what you don't know. Not that I owe you any explanation, I do not..Just wanted to set records straight.

You don't need to apply. This is not by force.

1. Who are these "employees" of yours? Figments of your imagination?

2. You pay above market rate for the right talents. Now that is funny. Know why? Nobody who has an idea of what market rate is for real talented writers will make such miserable offer at base level.

3. You made a mistake. I had no interest in applying for your "job". Why would you even think that in the first place? *chuckles* I have ZERO desire to apply.

4. I am a full time, experienced writer. I know a lot about how the business works. I don't even accept the silly 1naira/2naira per word system most " employers " and "contractors" offer on here. I rarely take jobs here. Your post caught my eye and I will say it again in case you did not get the memo: this offer of yours is ridiculous, miserable, and hopeless.

"Employers" like this are the ones contributing to the plight of young writers looking for meaningful work/projects.

This is a ridiculous and downright hopeless offer. Even if you looking to employ Secondary School graduates, offering to pay one hundred and fifty naira per page is virtually paying nothing.

No real writer who has his/her head plugged in good will entertaining the thought of this miserable offer not to talk of taking it up.

Rubbish!
