Its not a job. Its a scholarship award for undergraduate. they pay every january/febraury (150k).

He would receive it regadless of where he resides but to get it he had to send his original waec cert to the scholaship body... his excuse to get 150k yearly (to be paid in full in january) was that his sec school is far... if he was a rich kid, he would not have applied for it in the first place.
Ok, just try and talk some sense into him

Edo election (Naij)The Resident Electoral Commissioner for Edo,Mr Sam Olumekun, says collation ofresults for the governorship election in the state would commence on Thursday.Olumekun disclosed this in Benin on Wednesday after a closed-door meeting with a National Commissioner and two Resident Electoral Commissioners at 11.20 p.m.He, however, did not give reasons for the shift in date for the exercise. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) learnt that the decision to commence the collation on Thursday could be traced to the late arrival of results from the 18 local government areas of the state.A Correspondent of NAN who visited INEC office in Benin reports that security wastight while movement to the area had been restricted to only accredited officers and staff. At the INEC office, party agents, Journalists and election observers were seen waiting for the commencement of collation of results from the local government areas.A source close to the commission told NAN that those waiting for the collation had the option to wait or come back on Thursday for the exercise.

I'll advice u not to close down ur business in ur home country, find someone who can manage it for u,then maybe u check on things once in a while so u'll have somewhere to go back to in case things don't go as planned, then come over to Nigeria go to the state you have in mind, enquire from those in that same business because i know the competition will be much and don't be deceived by the population....just come and check the business environment

Really, what can one safely say is the Igbos interest in Lagos? Their Voyage in Lagos is to achieve what ?

You will agree with me that igbos are in need of an economic, viable, peaceful Lagos. Large number of igbos live on commerce, from this its safe to say that the Igbos want a Lagos where there are government policies that promote the growth of commerce and business. A Lagos where infrastructural developments (e.g roads, bridges, hospitals , good transportation system , lighting ) is generally alive to their duties.

What do the igbos really want in Lagos?

Truth be told igbos are just strangers been harboured in Lagos Land. Lagos belongs to some people, in same way Enugu and IMO belongs to some people. Its high time the Igbos understand this and desist from going on their normal activities. Lagos is a no Man's Land. its own by the Yorubas.

So quick, the igbos have selected Jimi Agbaje and even sideline with him, as an adopted son same way they adopted the outgoing President Jonathan in the last election against their interest as a people, which has left them in serious political Quagmire / Ramshackle, to the extent that igbos senators are looking for way to be admitted into the APC

Taking a cursory look into the two Governorship Aspirant for Lagos state, let us ask deep down and answer truthfully some questions ;
A. what sets these two candidate aside?
B. Is any of them Igbo?
C. What is the igbos problem?

The Igbos have had a fair stay in Lagos. The igbos, live peacefully unlike Kano state. The yorubas are highly politically sophisticated people, with great wisdom and understanding that its better they having a government in Lagos that belongs to the same party as the party at the centre, and now you want to destroy this.

Conclusively, its allowed for everybody to vote any candidate he wants, but a collective move to vote against the strategic interests of the people who own the land where you all live and make your living is not allowed. Lagos has been good to Igbos, a lot of you have succeeded in Lagos. Do not disrespect the people of Lagos. Nobody has murdered the Igbos in lagos like what we have, are , and will see in the north. Lagos remains the only state in this country where Igbos hold top government positions. Even your acclaimed, Rivers State have never given the igbos that privilege despite their huge population and presence there.

The people of Lagos / Yoruba's wants Lagos to progress and on Saturday, They will proudly vote for Akinwumi Ambode. A+

The Change they want is here. And that's the change from difference between party to same party. Just imagine a beautiful Lagos with no political differences of any sort with the federal government.

Last Quote Advice: " Igbos should stop trying to be more catholic than the pope "
bros if that is the change they want why wait this long.....omo you guys should vote for who you feel is right, don't let anybody make you feel you owe them because when you vote the wrong candidate and their policies starts affecting you negatively OYO ni case e ma je

@Lurcky I would love to react to your post bcs I love your approach, A TOUCH OF MATURITY I must say.

My love for your presentation kinda give me hope that there are still people around who can reason with their brain.

Now to the main issue, you talked about electricity, you gave him some marks though not EXCELLENT. You talked about agriculture the same you gave him some marks though not EXCELLENT. You talked about transport and still gave him some marks but not EXCELLENT.

In all these the only thing I would say to you is THANK YOU. You are the only person on this forum who has picked holes in this administration but still gave this man some marks, others have been like ''HE HAS NOT DONE ANYTHING IN THE LAST SIX YEARS''. My wonder has been ARE THESE PEOPLE HUMANS.

By your own assessment light is gradually improving, people have started to traveL on the rail condusively again and agriculture is coming back. All these are steps being taken to better the economy and like mother used to tell us then-TAKE A STEP AT A TIME. But you want some more.

You forgot to mention education. His has built university more than any other commander in chief but it is not achievment bcs it from poor Jonathan. The beauty of his forsight in education is immaculate. He identified the region which is lagging behind. He built special schools for alamajiris and out of the 12 federal universities he has approved in the last six years nine are in the north. Did you skip security? This where the fools are messing themslves up. No past government has faced the enormous challenge security wise like this government but don't be decieved by the cheap talk of incompetence. Not even a retired army general OBJ could solve the problem of militancy in the niger delta, these are people we know their names not to talk of people without identity and coming from people who do not have the commonest of education. If crushing insurgency is that easy why has the world not crushed ISIS? AL QEADA drove almighty Russia from Afghanistan.

Untill we know that this country belongs to all of us and not Goodluck's only, untill we are ready to help the head with much we can do to move forward, untill we change the strategy of letting things go worse so we can score cheap political points, we are not serious. Anybody who expects Goodluck to turn Nigeria into Dubai in six years is a MAD FELLOW.Not Buhari not anybody can do it. Gradually but steady we are moving foward and not using cane on 50 years old woman to clean gutter, it barbaric!

What sort of comment is this? Will selling wares on Konga pay my rent, feed my wife and kids, pay school fees for my kids till university?, cloth myself, my wife and my kids?.

You all forget not everyone has entrepreneur skillz! Some people are born hustlers and some are not! That's the way life is. To come and generalize is to lead one astray.

Frankly I don't get your point!.
so you expect the govt to come to your house, feed your family, pay your rent, pay your kids fees till university, cloth you, your wife and kids.

Sir get up and hustle and if you no fit hustle HUNGER finish u....dats all
