Mr Vincent Egechukwu Obetta,

Many Igbo leaders are interested in wading into the matter and possibly brokering peace in this standoff, is your client opposed to this?

My client is not averse to peace. Remember that his strategy is that of non-violence. Non-violence is synonymous to peace. /
Mr Counsel you are a lying liar.

The accused, that will surely turn to a convict, is averse to peace.

All his hateful speeches against other ethnicities are well documented, in his bid to turn Nigeria to Rwanda.

Joggers can keep jogging, the jobless can keep protesting and wailers can keep wailing, one thing is certain, THERE SHALL BE NO FREEDOM FOR THE LUNATIC ALBINO.
PoliticsPanic In Abuja As Hijab-wearing Young Girls Besiege Cars In Traffic Junctions by Super1Star(op): 9:46pm On Dec 20, 2015
There was panic in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, at the weekend following the sudden emergence of several hijab-wearing young girls and some boys, asking for alms at strategic traffic lights and junctions of the City Centre.

THISDAY findings can reveal that most of these girls within the ages of seven to 15 years can be found along Kashim Ibrahim Way, Wuse II, at very odd hours of the night, from where they lay siege to cars at the traffic junctions, asking for alms.

This has however created a sense of insecurity amongst the residents and commuters who quickly locked up their cars and sped off on siting the alms-seeking young girls.

One of the eyewitnesses who spoke to THISDAY said he was terrified at the sudden appearance of these young girls and boys at such strategic points around 6-9pm.

The residents with ample knowledge of how Boko Haram terrorists have been using such young girls as suicide bombers, in addition to the recent revelation of several terrorist cells within the nation’s capital, have expressed apprehension about the development.

Pleased if u don't know, igbos were actively involved in d June 12 struggle same with d people from d Niger delta. Olisa agbakoba was detained for it, one chuma that died in a car crash was in prison for it in fact he was among those that made campaign for democracy thick. Ralph obioha went on exile for it he was among d original founders of nadecco. The eastrrn mandate union as lead by Dr Arthur nwankwo and Dr udenta udenta went to jail for. U had the likes of ebitu ukiwe and ndubuiai KANU who supported nadecco as well. In d Niger delta, frank ovie kokori used nupeng to fight for d struggle and he almost paid with his life. John oyegun was there in d struggle while pa Alfred rewane lost his life in d struggle after he was brutally assassinated. One of d ibrus lost his sight because of the struggle in a failed attempt to assassinate him. Yoruba obas, olu onagoruwa, Ebenezer babatope were some of d Yoruba sellout of June 12. Ibb annulled june12 not Arthur nzeribe
Arthur Nzeribe got the court injunction for the annulment of the election. He was a willing tool in the hands of the northern oligarchy, in.the pseudo alliance, as seen in the case of Balewa and Zik and Daniel Kanu support the Devil's Incarnate

If you adduce to the fact that those handful of people that supported our June 12 struggle translates to Igbos or whoever supported us during those dark days. Fine.

Then you should say same of that fraud of a nation that Victor Banjo fought for and the sissy warlord killed him for a crime he never committed out of his jealousy for his military exploit. Soyinka was jailed because of that fraud of the nation and Gain Fawehinmi was a die hard advocate of the same fraud of a country.

Spare us the bullocks you spilled.

If the report of the group engaging the Army in gun duel is true, then we need to question why a religious group will be carrying guns and where the group got their guns from?

that is no more a religious group but an upcoming militia and probably another terrorist group in the offing.

Yes

OBJ should not have attacked Igbos

Look at GEJ

Did he touch Kanu.?
Even the devil knows the Clueless god of Otuoke is a liverless man and a figure head president.

Kanu infringed on the right to live of other Nigerians by calling for their killings and he must be killed first.

If a treasonable act is not an offence in igboland, it is in other sane climes. Were the Scots spreading hates about the English in their call for sessions? Are the catalonians threatening to kill other Spanish citizens?

However, why did Ojukwu killed Victor Banjo and others for the same offence?
PoliticsRe: The People Congregating Elsewhere Did Not Start Nairaland, Stop Telling Lies by Super1Star: 7:12am On Dec 15, 2015
Most of the veterans on this forum joined around 2006 and there was a lot of sanity and intellectual discourse way back, until some cavemen invaded the forum around 2009.

For 3 good years, most posters from SW were not really paying attention to them until 2012 when there was a general call for payback, after calling Seun's attention to all the biles being spewed by the sons of perdition that felt they have seen an avenue to vent their bottled up anger of 1966.

Seun never acted then and we paid them back in their coins in full measures, press down, shaking together and running over.

If seun had done what he is just doing between 2009 and 2012, they will not be here telling him rubbish today. We warned him but he was too naive to act against them then.

Anybody that is not happy with the sanity of NL, can jump inside the deepest part of thr Atlantic Ocean.

My grouse with Seun is we were running a wonderful Yoruba Commonwealth thread and those bastard.s invaded a very sane thread that was growing at the speed of light and you danced to their tune to remove our thread to a more obscured section just for them to be happy, when we were not even discussing anything that relates to them in anyway.

I feel and most guys also felt, that was over indulgence of some clowns on your part and those are parts of the actions that emboldened them to almost hijack your site.

PoliticsRe: Seun, Listen To The Voice Of [Biafra Supporters] by Super1Star:
OP, there are rights and there are responsibilities attached to those rights.

People have the right to air their views about any topic or issues under the freedom of expression, but your right stops when you are abusing your freedom by undermining the integrity of a nation. Your right turns to abuse of of right when you are using your right to call for violence and killing of other ethnicities.

People have the right to protest, but your right stops when you start disturbing other road users and taxpayers that have the same right to the same road, by disrupting vehicular and human movements.

Seun having a vibrant social forum is his right and he also had the right to determine what he wants to use his forum to project.

Do you know whether Seun's aspiration is to use his forum to build national cohesion and promote peace within our country, while also giving people the avenue to air their views in a constitutional way. If any of the way you are exercising your right is infringing on his own rights and objectives, he has every right and authority to throw you out.

Anybody that cannot comply should find his way to Linda Ikeji's blog, where he can be discussing Kim Kardashian, North West and Kanye West lifestyle.

PoliticsDPR Suspends Import Permits Of Capital Oil, Sahara & Folawiyo by Super1Star(op): 1:11am On Dec 12, 2015
The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) has suspended for three months fuel import permit of Capital Oil Petroleum Limited, Sahara Petroleum and Folawiyo Petroleum in Lagos for profiteering.

Other suspended companies are Samon Petroleum, Fynefield Petroleum, Calabar and Stalliionaire Petroleum Limited.

The DPR said in a statement that the companies sold fuel above government regulated price.

Besides, the DPR slammed the companies N10million fine for their action.

A statement signed by Mrs A.Y Ogan said: “The Petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency(PPPRA) has been advised to revoke the companies allocation, while the Petroleum Pricing Marketing Company(PPMC) has been informed not to allocate fuel to the erring depots for the period of their sanction.

“The DPR has put in place all necessary machineries to curb all incidents of profiteering, hoarding and other unwholesome practices by operators.

“The public is hereby advised to shun panic buying and report any noticeable infraction to the Department of Petroleum Resources office nearest to you.”

PoliticsTribune Denies Receiving Money From Nduka Obaigbena by Super1Star(op): 12:59am On Dec 12, 2015
THE African Newspapers of Nigeria (ANN) Plc, publishers of the Tribune titles, has denied receiving any money through the publisher of Thisday newspapers, Mr Nduka Obaigbena, as compensation for attacks on its operations and personnel by soldiers in June 2014, although it filed claims like all other newspaper companies as requested for by the Newspapers Proprietors Association of Nigeria (NPAN).

A statement signed by the company’s Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief, Mr Edward Dickson, faulted claims made by Mr Obaigbena that the Tribune was one of the 12 newspaper companies compensated by the Federal Government for the June 2014 attacks on newspapers, their circulation personnel and vehicles by soldiers in Abuja and parts of the north.

The two-paragraph statement reads:
“Our attention has been drawn to claims by the Publisher of Thisday newspapers, who is also the President of the Newspapers Proprietors Association of Nigeria (NPAN), Mr. Nduka Obaigbena, that a sum of N10 million was paid to our company through NPAN by the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) as compensation for the disruption of our circulation operations, seizure of our newspapers and damage to our property by soldiers in June 2014.

“Although, like other NPAN members, we filed claims as requested for by NPAN, the fact of the matter is that up till this moment, 11th December, 2015, our company is yet to receive a kobo as compensation through NPAN for the 2014 disruptive activities of the military to our operations.”
New Telegraph too

Also, the management of New Telegraph newspapers, in a statement signed by the Managing Director/ Editor-in-Chief, Mrs Funke Egbemode, denied receiving any money from Mr Obaigbena despite repeated demands for same from NPAN.

The statement reads:
“Our attention has been drawn to the inclusion of New Telegraph Newspapers on the list of media houses that THISDAY Publisher and President, Newspapers Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria (NPAN) claimed he paid N10 million each to, from funds he received from the immediate past National Security Adviser (NSA), Col Sambo Dasuki (retd), as compensation for the illegal seizure of some newspapers by the military during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

“It is on record that following the decision of NPAN to seek compensation from the Federal Government in the aftermath of the seizure of editions of newspapers by the military, New Telegraph computed its losses, which were passed to the association. However, since then, the company has heard nothing from the association on the matter.

“Following a report that NPAN has begun paying N9 million (not N10 million as contained in the report that has gone viral on the internet), the management of Daily Telegraph Publishing Company Limited, publishers of New Telegraph, Saturday Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph, has written three letters to NPAN for its share of the compensation; but regrettably, as at this moment, not even a kobo has been received.

“The first letter was written on May 22, 2015 followed by another on July 16, 2015 with a reminder written on November 19, 2015.

“Therefore, it is nothing but sheer falsehood for the NPAN president, who claimed he received the money on behalf of the association, to have included New Telegraph Newspapers as one of the beneficiaries of the funds, which as it has now emerged, was disbursed by the former NSA.”
