tyketurah:I will give a contact in Exams and Records. Please inbox me a mcg. I don't think it will be good to put up his number here. |
Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program is now OPEN. 650 applications to be accepted. I bet you, this slots will be over in 3 days. Our Indian friends are good with this thing. So hurry guys! |
Sixth Express Entry Draw of 2016 for Immigration to Canada 9th March 2016 CRS 473, 1,013 ITAs Issued Clearly if your point is below 400-450 you better look for Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) to better your chance! This January, Saskatchewan opened and within 3 days it closed because it reached the numbers it wanted. The trick is: get all your docs ready. You create a profile and upload all your docs then submit once it opens. That's exactly what I did. |
zandora:Zandora, You don't know how happy I am for you. It just shows being tactful works. Congrats dear. |
koolkamzzy:That's correct. On the application guide you will find the list of occupation with their NOC codes. |
amokemi:Hello, Alberta has three programs in their nominee program. 1. Employee Driven stream, the long and short is you need an employment offer from Alberta. 2. Strategic Recruitment stream, for this one you're in a Trade occupation, an engineer with Alberta work experience or a Post graduate from Alberta institution currently working there 3. Self-Employed Farmer stream, I need not describe. So please tell me the one you need the required documentation? That's the one you think you qualify... Let's start from there. |
chimali:I like your question because it applies to me. I've always used an affidavit in all my documentation but for this Canada stuff I didn't take that chance. Here what I did. I went to the National Population Commission (NPC) in Surulere to get it. I submitted a application and an affidavit. It was processed in a week and I got ATTESTATION OF BIRTH from them. So that's what I used instead of an affidavit. |
Doggys:The good thing about this SASK list is that it meets the requirement of most if not all the provinces. Go to the website of the province, look for the application guide and check the supporting documents. It's just the same! As par the funds thing, i believe you can meet the 3 months thing if the funds can be moved to your position as quickly as possible. I hear SASK may open again around March-April based on trend. I had the same experience when I tried the SASK application but being a data management expert I was quick to realize that its one of the most robust online application form at there. The thing is, you need to just move through it. Note again birth certificate is required. If it's not ready at the time you apply, you can mail it to them. |
SlowlybtSurely:Thanks. I expected to see people like that anyway. ATTN: cutesammie I also noticed you were the first to respond to same question without providing any useful help. I'm satisfied with the lovely "thank you'' I got than your 'I TOO KNOW' insight. |
cutiefy:371 is a low CRS but it doesn't mean no hope. You just have some work to do and it's called PROVINCIAL NOMINATION. If you get it, you get additional 600 points on your EE profile. And you get Invited To Apply for Permanent Residence. See the documents you need for SASKATCHEWAN Provincial Nomination (http://www.economy.gov.sk.ca/immigration/sinp). You will require less for NOVA SCOTIA. The two programs are currently not open and it gives you the opportunity to get all the documents ready. DON'T be scared. I got mine ready within a month and it included me, my wife and two children, like 60 pages. I applied this January when it opened a closed in two days! Please carefully look at it. I believe it's simple and I'll try to answers some questions. Goodluck! SINP PROVINCIAL NOMINATION PROGRAM Get the following documents and scan to PDF: 1. CIC just release the 24th Draw! CRS 461 for 1463 candidates. Congrats if you're one. |
40manlappy:You're not absolutely correct. This NOC is cuts across industries from finance to IT et al. If you have an idea and you do some research and come up with a product or service that is marketed then this is it if that what your job involves. It called different name in different industry. The burden of this choice is actually on you to defend. If the job description in your work reference or experience is total different from the NOC description then CIC may flag it. So use it but make sure you can provide documentary facts. |
Saskatchewan Immigration Nomination Program (SINP) documentation is good to try! One lesson learned: It's gives you an opportunity to have almost all required documents for CIC ITA. Just checked SINP, it's still open |
Lalaska:Try installing and using different browsers i.e. chrome, edge (windows 10), firefox or mozzila I have had same issue and I resolved it like this. |
SuccessGee: pricelessmr:I will attempt to answer your questions to my best. Trades skills like plumber, auto technician etc will ordinarily be high in demand but I can't start there. So I research the top job site for Canada to see who employers a looking for. How do I do my research? Simple! i just use keywords to search these sites for example I type 'devops' and search. I get the result that shows all the number and jobs type with ''devops'' (devops, is a IT project management practice). The result even gives you the pay scale based on years of experience. The approach I mentioned is the most simple way to know jobs that are in high demand for personal use. Another thing I learnt was Canadian employer love Canadian qualifications. And why not?! I will like you to do your check, get relevant Canadian education or a simple popular certifications. I'm in Business Development, the NOC is something like 4163. In order to be free to do jobs that comes my way, I decided not to be the principal applicant. Even if PNP, I go to where the job is in Canada and the family remain in the nominated province! I hope this clarifies! |
zandora:Hey Zanzan, Congrats dear and wishing you the best! Just a piece of info I found helpful myself about jobs. When I visited Canada in May this year on vacation, I did research about getting jobs there. First is having a skills that is in high demand. How do I know it true? Between June and Nov. I have passed two certification exams, one of them was a Canadian certification the other an American. I created a profile on the job site ca.indeed.com and monster.ca So far I have turned down six high paying job offers! The reason was simple. I used a Canadian address but I'm in Nigeria. I did that just to validate that what i'm doing reflects the job market demand. I have remove my job profiles and will work on My EE profile to up my CRS. Zandora, this story is just to let you know that the jobs are there. Hope you've got skills that is in high demand? All the best! |
40manlappy:You cannot edit the not eligible one. Just start with the online tool ''Come to Canada''. Complete it and copy the reference number at the end. Go to your existing ''MyCIC'' profile sign in and start a new EE form. The first thing you will need is the ref.number you copied. Try it. |
40manlappy:I had same issue when I tried to upload my EE profile. My wife had a better IELTS score than I did so she chanced me to become principal applicant. Lol! That aside. After I completed the form and submitted, I got ''not eligible''. I was surprised because the ''come to canada tool'' shows we are very ok. So again, my wife carefully reviewed the application I submitted and discovered an error. Under the section that ask about your ''Education History'' there's a part you're required to state the number of years of education completed, I wrote ''1'' for us. It was wrong. It's actually 17 (6+3+3+4+ 1yr for masters)! Immediately, i completed another EE profile and submission sucessful! Please carefully review the application you submitted, i'm sure that's an error somewhere. This is my one cent! |
Demiyike:@Demiyike Thank you. I have actually started research on adoption. I asked my lawyer to do the findings and his feedback was like 'really?'. Adoption is really long and documentation is another things. He told me it's gonna cost me N500K in Lagos and may take up to six months. She doesn't share the same surname with me 'cos she's my mum's brother's child. I would have just added her as my daughter. Personally, I tot an affidavits would be fine but it's obvious that i'm wrong. If that's the only way, I'll try my best. I am still open to more suggestion from the house! |
Hello house, Please I have a question before I get ITA in my EE account. I have two children and my uncle's daughter also lives with us for five years on. She has been a blessing, my children's best friend and has seriously improved academically. I have a great moral obligation to see her maximize her potential. Can't leave behind. Now my question is, what documents do I need to add her in my application? Do I need adoption papers or court affidavits stating she's my dependent? I just don't want her to return to the village because I can afford to take her along. Kindly assist gurus in the house. |

Hello everyone, I just got a Canadian visa today for me, my wife and daughter. And it took less three weeks! I filled and printed form, then got it sign and straight to VFS Canada Visa center. I applied for the purpose of a tourist. We really didn't have plenty money but we had enough to cover the trip. We had just N1.5million in our bank statement. But before I applied I didn't a small research here just to know people's experience. You just need deligence. See my package documentation: 1. Hotel reservation (used my GTBank mastercard) 2. Statement of acct. 3. Marriage cert. 4. Fixed investment letter 5. Daughter's birth cert. 6. Travel plan: my itinerary (tourist attractions I intend to visit) and breakdown of expense (cost of flight, taxi, local transport etc) 7. Employment letter 6. Copy of Annual leave approval 7. Work ID. 8. ...of course two passport photo! THAT'S ALL! I let them know I don't have anyone in Canada and I intend to go with my wife and kids. No invitation, so the hotel. Well, how did I convince them I'll return to Nigeria? I really can't tell. I suspect it's our travel history, been to the US, UK and Switzerland. Still, I'm not too sure. One thing I did was being very meticulous in arranging the above docs. Multiple entry for one year. That's not bad. Wish you luck. |
