For the records, people use Middlebelt very often here and most "baushe" often describe their hometown as "Arewa". More like, their states are the "core Arewa", that's what they say...

Finally, when you move to a country for the first time, Your best mistake you would likely be to expect everyone to love or like you. Build your friends , be happy with them and forget others. You can aswell meet new like-minded friends and add them to your clique.
