That's why I said, when the brain notices that a particular activity produces feeling of pleasure, it begins to "ask" for it. Like I said, I'm only calling mine an "addiction" to force my brain to see it as one so it recognizes how dangerous it is.

So when the more you engage in that activity, the more the brain begins to associate it with that feeling. Over time, it becomes difficult to break free from. In my case, it started since childhood but I never considered it as an addiction.

Now, don't get me wrong. When I say "addiction," it doesn't mean I do it everyday. Like I said, this is a challenge to see how disciplined I am.
