Evel lies in man, and not his religion. I wnt u to understand that every man has evil in his heart. People are just oblivious of that. They only need something to catalyse the manifestation of the evil and immorality in them, hence the pastors reasons for acting the way they did.
However, none of them stood up to say they were inspired by the bible or that they were spoken to by the supreme being ordering them to kill, etc in the name of the redeemer, Jesus for 7 virgins or any reward whatsoever.
However, looking at the other side, I wouldn't be subjective, but its an obvious fact that the level of violence in the WORLD today has been from the side of the religious fanatics which I simply term as religious 'lunatics'. Ask any one of them what inspires them to kill or to be violent, they would refer you back to their holy books. Ive at least seen a video clip of a group of men reciting some verses of the holy book before beheading a fellow human kneeling right before them, hands tied, neck clogged and legs also tied.
Furthermore, I find it rather funny for people to keep saying "our religion is a religion of peace"

Im a living witness who barely survived the attacks in kano in the year 1999. Op, I would need u to leave your comfort zone, go into the hearts of the North and see what tribulations the Christians are facing.
An example is the locking up of a church and the worshippers therein and burning of the entire church leaving the people to burn in agony, crying and shouting out to their God.
And what were they reciting while burning other people? Allahu Akbar. Indeed.

Pls why is there no word like Christianophobia, Hinduphobia, Judaiphobia, Bhudophobia? Rubbish! How many people commit offences and claim they were motivated by the bible? The term Islamophobia is not even correct becos it implies an irrational fear of Islam whereas our fear of Islam is absolutely rational! There is too much violence in your religion that every other religious groups are scared of them. Address us only after you have addrrssed the problems inherent in Islam. God commands us to obey laws like these when He says, "Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established." (Romans 13:1) If you disobey the law, then you’re also disobeying God.

In summary, the Bible speaks of alcohol as a good gift from God to be enjoyed, but that we are not to get drunk, especially if you are a leader.
Firstly, wine is a good gift from God to be enjoyed:
Psalm 104:15(God has given us) wine that gladdens the heart of man.
The Bible acknowledges alcohol’s role to gladden the heart, and a way to temporarily minimize the pain of life:
Proverbs 31:6“Give strong drink to the one who is perishing, and wine to those in bitter distress;”

and in proverb he say we should drink but not be drunk.

Please my people is it bad to now drink alcohol?

This creature was killed tonight in my room, this happened to be the third time I would kill a creature of this nature inside the room. As a bachelor, I love lying on the rug when relaxing or when ''nairalanding'' at night. So tonight ,I was doing the usual before I quickly left for kitchen to check the meat i was frying, on return to the room ,I sighted the creature below crawling very close to the point I stood. I got me scared a bit.
My question now is that what can be the cause of their presence in the room. And this is a room I flit at times.
