Billyonaire:You need to read more on leadership. If a leader is more knowledgeable, fine and it's a plus. It's not a must. If he is not, he just need to have a vision, a drive and objective, surrounds himself with knowledgeable technocrats, make them believe his vision is achievable, drive the knowledgeable technocrats to achieve it for him. Simple. OBJ did something like that --- surrounded himself with El Rufai, Ngozi, Mukhtar, Soludo, Moghalu, Dora, Ribadu etc. |
Billyonaire:I may be more knowledgeable than him, but I do not have its wealth of experience, which cannot be bought. However, a leader does not have to be more knowledgeable, he just need to surround himself with smart and knowledgeable people that abound in our country and not sycophants that will be singing siddon siddon siddon, No Vacancy in Aso Rock and you are the next best thing after God. |
Billyonaire:No, he will not stabilise the price of crude oil because it's beyond him, but he will fix the refinery issues, thereby reducing the pressure on foreign reserve, reducing fx demand and stabilising the dollars and creating employment through the development of ancillary industries to the refineries. He will fix power, which will impact massively on our MSMEs, thereby creating more job opportunities and employment, increasing the GDP and this will make Nigeria to keep being the number 1 investors destination in Africa. He will reduce corruption. Thereby sanitising the business environment., increasing transparency of the Nigerian business climate, as well as ease of doing business in Nigeria. This will increase investors confidence in the Nigerian business market, with attendant more investors and investments coming in. This will lead to more employment. He will not give our barn of yams to the goats and stealing will be corruption. This will promote the culture of accountability and transparency, which will increase the trust of the international investors in Nigeria, more investments and more employment. QED. |
Billyonaire:The first small steps of this generation of embracing change at the expense of continuity of cluelessness, is a giant leap for future generations. There is no new thing under the sun and everything go round in circles. We just ended a 360 degree course of cluelessness. Welcome to the beginning of the new 360 degree course of change and prosperity for our nation. |
Billyonaire:Naaaah. We have taken our present to re-design the outcome of our future for us and generations yet unborn. |
Billyonaire:We can all make them work by pressurising them through the social media and campaigns. We should not allow them to keep mortgaging our future. Electing good leaders is first step. If bad ones rigged their way in, we should still force them to work. |
SirShymexx:I just love this my dude. Sit back and watch blabbing. |
edogirl2:Likewise itshekiris in Warri. |
Nnemuka:Being cave dwellers is 100% better than the underground dwellers of gully eroded land. No wonder descendants of Cain like you keep wandering over the surface of the earth, as cursed by God. They have infested our caves from their gully eroded underground abode. In search of greener pastures, better life and conditions of living. Tinubu looted and invested same in yorubaland creating employment, mentored people that are performing in various positions they are holding and was able to midwife the merger of political parties that defeated the biggest party in Africa. Show me any of your clueless and visionless leader that can lace his boot. None. Obviously insanity is endemic in your pathetic family. |
DProDG:That is registered members. Some visit as guests, without registering. |
PPAngel:We have it already. Don't you know Ondo is part of NDDC. IF we want to sadden you the more, we can claim the share of our cousins oil in Niger Delta, the Itshekiris. |
PPAngel:http://www.nigerianports.org/defaultCalabarPort.aspx ---- ''The Old Port was privately administered and operated by various shipping companies until December 1969 when the Federal Government took over the inadequate Calabar Port facilities from the erstwhile operators and vested it on the Nigerian Port Authority. The development, modernization and expansion of the Calabar port was embarked upon under the 3rd National Development Plan of 1975–1980 in order to upgrade the port facility to cope with the ever increasing demand of our economy. The new port complex was commissioned on 9th June, 1979 and lies 45 nautical mile (about84km) upstream from Fairway Buoy.'' Who was the president then? Stop your misinformation. If you want the details of other ports, visit NPA website or consult google. |
PPAngel:Jonathan should have used whatever method he wishes to achieve the project, if he was truly committed to it. Why did the same senate not stop him from awarding multi billion pipeline security contracts to Dokubo, Tompolo, Ganiyu Adams etc. Did he not do the ground breaking ceremony of the Gas City in Gbaramatu, which is a bigger and more expensive project than the Ibaka seaport. Washington can stop investments if they want and who is losing? The American Investors. Are Asians not investing heavily in Africa and Nigeria. At whose expense and loss? Americans. If Jonathan had signed a partnership with the Chinese on Ibaka, 200 Washingtons cannot stop the partnership and the completion of the project. He was more interested in seaport in Bayelsa and he deceived his people that he signed a $7bn deal with Hyundai, which the South Korean Prime Minister denied. All the other ports in SS today, whether moribund or active, were conceptualised and executed by leaders of other regions. We are blaming Jonathan because he did not do anything for his people and Nigeria as a whole. Stop blaming yorubas for your woes, name your visionless leadership |
PPAngel:Is Jonathan's brain a Pentium 1 brain that he cannot multitask, despite the myriads of challenges that was brought upon him by people and himself? Jonathan said the pillar of his government were SEerners and not SSerners. What were those SE people doing in 6years. Busy being sycophants they are known for and singing siddon siddon siddon and No Vacancy for GEJ. PDP had the highest Senators and Reps, why was the Ibaka issue not legislated on, passed into law and gazetted. Once that is done, no government can reverse it. Don't you understand. Your argument about Akwa Ibom not having the legal right to develop the seaport does not hold water. Lagos conceptualised Lekki Deep Seaport and started it with FG and private investors joining in. First thing first, it was a visionary idea conceptualised by Fashola and they got the buy in of FG and private investors later. That is a governor that was in the opposition party. What stopped Akpabio for good 8years from.achieving same? At what time did the leaders of Akwa Ibom paid Akpabio or GEJ a visit, tasking them on the completion of the Ibaka project. None to my best of knowledge. It amazes me that the government that does not have the time for Ibaka, invested in Lekki Seaport, was eating with 1bn, was buying presidential jets, was doling out dollars to.people. Let your leaders take responsibility for their inactions and actions. Point accusing fingers at them and not Yorubas. |
SirShymexx:You could not have put it better Shymexx. |
Nnemuka:So in your logic, we should condone her looting of public treasury, a collective purse, just because she made Enugu Airport an Intergalactical Waterlogged Airport. What a reasoning? No wonder SE is the way it is. You worship and celebrate mediocrity. |
PPAngel:That is commendable. Don't you think if he had gotten the same fund into Ibaka, it would have been completed by now, rather than starting a totally new project that might end up like Ibaka and you guys will be blaming yorubas again for your self inflicted woes. Admit to the fact that, you do not task your leaders enough. Period. |
macjive01:Beautiful. Why were you not able to force GEJ and Akpabio to complete it and turn Lagos to Detroit in 6years, the same way Peter "Adaora" Obi completed the 2NB with GEJ, thereby turning SW to Hiroshima. Yeye dey smell. |
PPAngel:Why do people like reasoning like this? What were you looking at for 6years under GEJ or GEJ is from Mali? What is the business of SW with Port? I cannot remember any notable yoruba in GEJ's government, why could GEJ still not achieve it. Onne port is functional, why are the people crying wolf all of a sudden not using the same port which is closer to SE and SS. When we were telling you GEJ did nothing in 6years, you were all arguing and calling it a gang-up against the Mandela of Otuoke. Can you see now that he was just drinking tea and buying jets? Why is it that Yorubas do not blame others for their woes? Why do you think we never wanted PDP to take over Lagos? Agbaje was a good candidate but his party does not have the acumen and discipline to manage Lagos. |
IHEJIRIKAisBOKO:God bless you. They enjoy whining and crying over their stup1dity, pointing accusing fingers at others for their own stup1d actions. GEJ is from SS, he did not even give an inch of attention to the project. He was busy eating with 1bn and buying presidential jets. Akwa Ibom collects the highest allocation in the country, through 13% derivation. NDDC is like a regional government. Min of Niger Delta is a whole ministry dedicated to the region alone. |
sCun:Why can't you guys take responsibility for your action and inactions. You elect stup1d and dumb leaders and you are still blaming it on yorubas . GEJ was president for good 6years and Akpabio was governor for 8years. Why could they not complete it? Donald Duke set out to start and complete Tinapa and he did without the Almighty Yoruba stopping him. Was Akpabio sincere with the project? Why has others not gang up and stop Fashola initiative of Lekki Deep Seaport, which is progressing smoothly? Who is the current head of NPA? Bamanga Tukur, a PDP chieftain. Stealer Oduah constructed a water logged airport and you were all celebrating her for stealing your money and giving you a sub-standard airport. You were busy shouting "She is our daughter". You will still blame the Almighty Yorubas for that. Indeed, Yorubas must be next to God. |
I did not know SE was as backward as described by the OP |
ezeagu:Are you ok? Do you need glasses to read what I wrote or you need an interpreter? What is the bitterness you are talking about or what should I be bitter about? |
As we are marking the 1st year of the abduction of the Chibok girls, the question that keeps running through mind is "where is shekau?" Despite all our military success in recent weeks, it will be a great injustice to the Chibok girls, the dead and the maimed, if Shekau is neither caught nor killed. Has someone allowed him to escape? Quite possible. Is he still within the territory being held by BH? Very unlikely, because we have not seen any of his taunting videos in recent weeks. Is he dead? We all know he is a cat with 7lives because he has died and died and died again. We need to ask the military this vital question. If this mystery is not solved, then the school of thought that was of the opinion that the powers that be in the military and political arena, might not be wrong afterall. Where is Shekau? |
What is all these arguments about? The alliance should not only stop at SS and SE amalgamation, they are free to even annex southern Cameroon that used to be part of the old eastern region as well. Once the objectives and aim of the alliances suits all parties, why should others be disputing it for them? The alliance is about Oil and access to the sea for one party, why the other is in need of the numerical strength. At the same time, no one should run back to Nigeria once more begging for freedom from his domineering neighbour. |
Can't this mad people just sit down somewhere. He won flat and square. The Presidential. National Assembly and House of Assembly elections clearly show to the blind that the guy is very popular in his state. If that is the guy the people want to be their leader, so be it. Leave matter for matthias jare. |
Vicotex:There is nothing like SE/SS. Igbos doing attcahe by force since 1872. Have you resolved your issue with Kogi State? |
Ondo is oil producing Lagos about to be oil producing. Ogun potential oil producing. |
SirShymexx:Shymexx, we have been over banned on NL, no be today. I miss the likes of Katsumo and Deridegull sha. |
ellaV:who is holding them from going? they do not know the way to UN? or you want someone to go to UN on your behalf? Your problem is you lack the diplomacy, the wit and tact to negotiate such tortuous process of secession through the appropriate channel. Going must not be through fighting. When they tried the Boko Haram method, we all saw where it led you to. You had the opportunity at the last national confab to ask for Biafra, did you? Capital N-O. |
