THE ONLY REASON THEY ARE THICK IS BECAUSE THEIR PEOPLE ESPECIALLY IN LAGOS ARE ALL MUMU. THESE PEOPLE CAN ALLOW ONE MAN CONTROL THEIR LIVES.
Can't you see the progress the same Lagos is making. The same Lagos you are all trooping to on a daily basis.
Politics › Tinubu Vs Obj --- What Makes These Men Thick? by superstar1(op): 1:05am On Apr 12, 2015
What makes these 2 men thick?

OBJ aka Ebora Owu (Genie of Owu Kingdom)

Pros --- a visionary leader, bridge builder, anti-corruption crusader, respected internationally

Cons --- vindictive, character could be questionable (subjective)

TINUBU -- Jagaban

Pros --- visionary, dogged, master tactician (Guardiola of Nigerian Politics), resilient, mentor to some, brilliant. Just graduated to the status of bridge duilder

Cons --- perceived to be corrupt (never proven), practise selecto-cracy rather than democracy within the party

Looking at the last presidential election retrospectively, political analysts and tacticians cannot but recognise the role played by Tinubu and OBJ. These 2 men contributed immensely to the demise of PDP and abortion of Jonathan;s 2nd term bid.

Tinubu was visionary enough to conceive the idea of APC and midwife the formation of the party, that gave us a vibrant opposition to the ruling PDP. He built bridges and made concessions were necessary for the new party to be what it is today. No doubt, he has contributed his quota to the Nigerian Political climate and posterity will record this in his favour. This is apart from raising leaders that are holding various positions at different state levels SW, which is evident by their perceived good performances.

OBJ was rubbished by some presidential aides and even said to be an expired politician. Alas, they forgot that what he lacks as political clout in SW is his area of strength and sphere of influence in the North and internationally. He was underrated, but did more silent damages that anyone could ever imagine. His highly publicised tearing of his PDP membership card, was a tactical public declaration to various political interests in the nation and internationally that he is not backing the GEJ government again. From this point, GEJ's candidacy was just a train doomed to hit the rock. Ignore him at your peril and give him too much space to your detriment.

I will like astute and knowledgeable political analysts, public commentators and general public to analyse the roles played by these 2 men and the strategies deployed accordingly, that assisted APC to defeat the biggest party in Africa, PDP.

There are lessons to be learnt from the just concluded elections that could benefit future aspirants and students of political science. Let us discuss objectively.

I thought they said they dominate Lagos??

I thought they said there are millions of them in every streets of Lagos??

I thought they said they own all the houses and toilets in Lagos??

I thought they said they will decide who rules Lagos??

I thought they said Lagos is a NO MAN'S LAND??Now the indigenes have shown them its their land!!

Where are they?? Where are their so called votes??
So they can only make noise like toothless dogs??
I thought they said they will vote Agbaje,go to Lagoon, build sky scrappers and turn it to dubai in 5years(when they have not even built one in Enugu,Onitsha,Owerri,Aba,Nnewi,Abakaliki in thousand of years, what they can't do in hundreds of years on their own Land is what they want to do on another man's Land in just 5years??)

These guys are Just Kidding Like their candidate JIMI!!

Jimi should have won,I should have voted for him but the moment he stopped campaigning to indigenes and started campaigning to Foreigners and refugees, the moment we decided to Punish him!

The Indigenes have spoken,Akinwunmi Ambode(A+) is our Governor, if you are not okay with it,the road by which you came to Lagos is still very much open, you are free to leave,Nobody begged you to come to Lagos,Nobody will beg you to stay!

LAGOS BELONGS TO THE ODUDUWA NATION,its the heritage of the Yorubas which was inhabited by Ogunfunminire in the 9th century!! No stranger or refugee can tell us who to vote for, we own our land and we decides what happens to it,Lagos belongs to us and to us alone!!!
May God bless you beyond your expectation.

Infact, may God's blessing abide with you and your generations to comw.

Before nko.

Let those that are learners in politics running their mouths, because they believed they were ruling the country in proxy through GEJ, know who owns Lagos now.

What is their percentage of Lagos again? can someone remind me.

It's obvious your hate for him is because he's in PDP, not that he's not a better candidate than Ambode. Too bad Nigerians vote along sentiments and tribal lines. Too bad.
how do you expect any sensible person to support a party that allows the goat to eat the yam?

common on, please!!!! A candidate that has a corrupt ex-convict has his backer and a notorious abuser of public office has his supporter.

Anybody that is pained, can take JImi to his state and install him as the Governor there. The same way APC is not acceptable in SE, is the same way PDP is not in SW. AP and LP are by far more acceptable and loved.
Politics › Re: Jimi Agbaje Lost To Ambode In His Polling Unit by superstar1(m):
we told them Jimi will lose. His Deputy also lost her polling unit.

This is our land and our politics. We told them to back off, they were proving stubborn, thinking they are somebody where they are nobodies and they are seeing the Florida Voting System we promised them.

The dude could not even win his polling unit.

funny you.

Definitely, that must have been said in Mandarin version of Igbo. Your useless elders at the meeting are a replica of leaders elected in your states.

No wonder all of you keep trooping of your region like ants, searching for greener pastures in other parts of the country. Depriving your land of more manpower required for the development of your regions in shambles already, making your land more desolate, reducing the life expectancy of your region, reducing investment flow to your region and increasing the economic activities of other regions.

Can't you see you are doomed? No wonder Lagos is Iboman's LONDON, NEW YORK and PARIS. You can only stay there, it can never be yours. Get over it.

Elect good leaders and not jesters. grin grin grin grin

Who are the igbos? Nobody in the scheme of things. Lost in their bid to retain their ruling-by-proxy president. Wish your states and your people are naturally accommodating to others. Alas, you are the direct synonym of UNACCOMMODATING.

Of course ONE NIGERIA and RIP Biafra forever and ever. cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

I read your post and immediately felt throwing up. My wife is Yoruba and i am Ibo, I love her so much but when I read posts like these i grow so much hatred for your tribe and pray it doesn't affect me negatively. i live with your kinsmen here in the East, and threat all of them alike. it is enough that we FEEL your tribe to be two-facet beings but to opening pronounce your hatred for us is evil in its sense. shame to people like you who still exist, and give your tribe a bad name and probably go to either church or mosque to worship a God you don't know. but i perceive you are in your teens and could be myopic
Who cares about what you and your pathetic chest beating tribe feel?

Do you want to know what others feel of your tribe -- baby factory, robbery, fake products, okija shrine, kidnapping, acting without tact and rush of blood to the head.

My age is none of your business. If you cannot take the heat in politics section, abeg find your square root to the sexuality section which your vestigial brain can comprehend

You called us online warriors against GEJ, we showed it in real life.

Yes Oba made the statement, what will happen.

It is either you live with it or you go back to the gully eroded land of setting sun.

He is on his land and can say and do as he likes.

With or without your vote, Ambode will be the governor.

JK is still our son and you will forever be foreigners and shall be dealt with accordingly.

I thought you are 80% of Lagos, you can as well march to the Oba's palace and demand for his dethronement. I doubt if any of you will return back to your enclave alive.

However, we are expecting your usual whining, shameless, lame, pathetic and emotional ultimatum.
