s3nn2x: I am just thinking aloud. Is it not possible to get Visa to Finland and when you get to Finland you apply for a Visa from the Estonian Embassy or get a Tourist Visa from Belgium to Estonia and when you get to Estonia, you go to Finland and apply for a Visa. At least it is just 2 hours by boat from Tallinn to Helsinki. How possible is it? I am no way an expert in these things. I am a hustler like you. If there is anyone who has tried with success, let him or her enlighten us. |

Godfavourme: What else do you want pple to explain to you when you said you read here tat Indiaolonger issue visa to pple going to Estonia? Those that went to India embassy has confirmed that they were told to follow another routes. Egypt would have been an alternative but they too no longer issue visa to pple transiting their country to Estonia.
I'll suggest you try other route along side your idea before getting your ndlea certificate. All the best oo Bsc or Masters? You should not have allowed them to send it to India. You need to read the thread again, particularly from last 10 days to see what other options being discussed. Don't be in a hurry to choose another embassy. |

mavinc4u: Are you sure is the same guy? what did he explain that he used tourist visa; that one na explanation. Did you see where he was asked how? He even viewed the thread when I was trying to figure his moniker. Even after staying there for close to 2 years yet his brain has not been formatted and he is still moving around with his old mentality. If you are okay with what he said then you can proceed. Lol, the guy ran away to Canada thread. It looks like he got an admission to a school in Canada for a PhD program. He mentioned that on May 14th on that thread. I just went through his posts. If he is saying the truth, then he must be a busy man right now trying to move from Estonia and settle in Canada. But the question remains whether he is even saying the truth. On the Finland tourist visa, the requirement are on their website. |

mavinc4u: From the little information I have, you will get to belgium, finland (the country that issued the schengen visa) first before proceeding to estonia. However, I am looking at getting the schengen visa then apply for visa and TRP from estonia Embassy at any of the mentioned countries. There was a guy here who said he used finland but when he was asked a question, he went mute; Nigeria way even though he views this thread every day. I can't remember his moniker though but will search for the name. You can check this page 26 of this thread, some said getting Belgian visa is very difficult and I think euro academy or so made the same statement but all is luck to me. I have seen his comments. He actually did explain somethings. |

Godfavourme: You can buy at cbn rate when you have your visa, ticket and your admission letter. That's the only way you can get euro at cheaper rate, you tell them you are buying as traveling allowance or for sch fee pmt. For school fees payment, you don't need visa. It's form A, admission letter, passport, payment invoice (If the fees is not indicated on admission letter, and Bsc certificate. But not all banks asked for Bsc certificate. Ticket and visa are only required for PTA. |

Which school is yours? Belgian visa will land you straight in Estonia, but with a 3 months visa. I don’t know how one is going to perfect it to enable one stay in Estonia. Can you get UK tourist visa without getting an invite from someone who is legally there? I doubt. |

I wrote to the embassy of Finland. I was told to approach Belgium embassy in Abuja since they represent Estonia in Nigeria.
When I wrote Belgium embassy, they directed me to read requirement in their website or consult VFS global. VFS said Belgium embassy only issues short term visas (like tourist visa) for travel to Estonia, that since I am a student, I could apply for study permit when I get to Estonia. |

uzhi: Hello,
Indian embassy in Nigeria does not give visas any more for coming to study in Estonia. Please choose another embassy but not the embassy of Egypt because there is the same problem. If you have made a choice to which embassy you wish to go, please let us know. Try to figure it out as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
Euroacademy.
Someone got the above message from Euroakadeemia, I think applicants should try another legal routes. What if as a Masters students, you have a visa to Egypt? Let's say business or tourist visa? |

gee4real: This is how we misinform people on this forum ,there is no place Turkey embassy says it takes 8 weeks to issue visa, try to read and understand before interpreting, apply 8 weeks b4 your intended date of travel , simply means if you plan travelling August apply late June or early July so your application can accommodate your travel plans, so you can get a suitable date for your interview,. stop misleading people with your post please 1. The website clearly warns that you have to apply 8 weeks before intended travel date. 2. Have it in your mind that school resumption date is September 1st. 3. Remember too you are still going to spend a week or more in Turkey pursuing your Estonian visa. You don't know what obstacle might be on the way because you are in another country where you don't know your way around. Let’s say you apply today or July 1st, and 8 weeks from now is August 31st/September 1st before you are told your visa is ready or not. You travel back home from embassy to pick your things to travel. Again you might be travelling to airport if you are in another state. You land in Ankara on September 3rd or 4th. Then you begin to hope and pray that there is no reason for delay in Turkey, like they might have their own work holiday. And your grace period is almost exhausted. This is coupled with the fact that I was told the visa might take longer than two weeks. I am only trying to calculate what is best for me. I am not deciding for anyone else. |

Godfavourme: No. Was supposed to attend a conference. Though the reason why I was refused was that I didn't put my family pictures and landed documents. You guys can try sha Thanks. You have given so much information voluntarily. I have a citizen of UK inviting me every year to come to UK, but I have never taken the opportunity. This period, I have been trying to reach her to send me another invite, but it appears she has traveled on summer holiday. I got to know her when she visited Nigeria with her parents some years past. I have also missed many opportunities to go with my place of work (company) letter where I would not have even gone for interview, but these things never freaked me. But now I need their visa, the the letter I need are not residily available. If I knew I would have been on it months back. I didn’t think Indian route will block. |

Godfavourme: Hmm!! ! Someone should pm you if necessary? Who told you Turkish visa takes two weeks?
For your information, Turkish visa is just like USA visa, you book appointment and do interview and get your visa out BTW 3-5 working days. The only difference is that you pay your visa fee if you will be granted the visa unlike rear of USA.
I've not try it though but talking from the info I gathered from a friend who happens to be a traveling agent.
If you want to go thru Turkey, I'll advise you book your appointment now. All the best I said someone should PM me because I observe that some people don't like sharing confidential info to the general forum. I read on another thread on nairaland where Turkey visa was being discussed that it takes two weeks from interview to be ready. May be your travel agent has another way of penetrating them outside the official turn around time. |
