A couple of days ago Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state, issued a counter-cheque to make withdrawal from his personal account at Zenith Bank located at Onigari, GRA in Ado Ekiti, but was rejected by the bank describing the action as criminal and illegal.

He went on to twitter to accuse the EFCC and the Presidency of freezing his account claiming that the commission lacks the right to investigate him because of immunity currently covering him as a sitting governor.




But the EFCC spokesperson Wilson Uwujaren responded saying

“Immunity does not prevent EFCC from investigating suspicious accounts of those enjoying immunity and Fayose cannot be an exception.



Later investigations by Sahara Reporters which was posted on twitter hinted the reason why Fayose's account was frozen, saying it contained ₦1.2billion from the office of the National Security Advisor (NSA), which was believed to have been stolen funds used for political campaigns following Zenith bank's denial of ever funding Governor Ayo Fayose’s gubernatorial campaign in 2014.

This what I do, once l receive my salary I send the 20k to the savings bank account for saving my money, then move the 10k to another account with atm card. I withdraw from there to eat, pay for transport fare, keep my self neat etc. But u must note that if you want to save u must make tight discipline policy for ur self. U must make sacrifices. U can't get everything you want. After like 3 months I spend the fourth month money on clothes friends and families. Then from fifth month. Start ur tight savings again.
