Family › Re: My Wife Absconded With Our Kids by SUPOL(m): 7:05pm On Oct 03, 2016 |
taiiremide: My wife absconded with our kids (2 boys). We’ve been married for 4years plus. I did everything a good husband would do to please his wife, but she never satisfied. Before we got married, I’ve a good job and she knew my worth, after marriage things isn’t as rosy and it used to be, I lost my job and I was able to get one after 2 months but the salary is 120k excluding other freelance jobs I do online.
We’re unable to save. We spent most of the money on food stuffs, I hate seeing her hungry. She called me one faithful night and reminds me of the premises I made before we got married about the car and supermarket I promised her (I can’t remembered making such promises), but I still encourage her to be patient with me, that things gonna be fine. She never supported me as she’s not working. I remember I gave her 450k to start a business; she was pregnant at the time so she rejected the money because of her condition. I added some money and I bought a car, I needed the car to hustle for contracts, I cant be jumping from okada to marwa, nobody gonna take you serious. A month later, I got a printing contract from one of the best companies in Lagos, the condition is to use your money for the contract so I sold the car to print the job, I bought a machine unfortunately the machine packedup, i lost the gain and money for the car but I was able to delivered the job more that expectation but I lost huge amount of money. She always complaining ever since, when I tried to encourage her that things will be fine she will ask me ‘when’.
She treats my kids as if she wasn’t the one that brought them to this world, she always using negative words for those kids, I later realized she doesn’t love me, if she love me, she’ll equally love my kids.
4 months ago, she went to visit my younger sister in osogbo, she saw the way my sister’s business was moving fine, she fall inlove with osogbo, she sent a message thus ‘dear, guess I am in love with Oshogbo is peaceful and cool’. When she came back to Lagos, she said she wanted us to move to osogbo, after much persuasion and consideration I succumbed. We moved to osogbo, I spent more than 300k. 2 weeks later, she started complaining that osogbo is boring. I was so mad. I had to risk my life travelling from osogbo to Lagos almost every week. On the 16th of September (a day after I celebrated our last born birthday) she left for Lagos for her sister’s wedding, I gave her 12k for tfair and other expenses. I called her a week later to remind her that our first son gonna resume school the following Monday, that’s when she said she’s no longer interested in the marriage, that I should move on, I called her mother, she said I should come see her but my family stopped me, since we never had a fight and I was not the one that sent her packing that she should be the one to come.
I’m missing my kids, they’re my life, I don’t know what to do. pretend as if nothing happened, do not say kpikim. And how can ur kids be ur life? So if ur Abraham u for deny God Isaac. My friend those kids are for God, ur just a caretaker, wait until they are 18 n u will understand. |

EMMAUGOH: NIGERIA NEED REFORM In police recruitment, they should limit qualification to DIploma and above or HND or BSC and above.. Some people stagger through secondary school, go to a special center to obtain a waec certificate.
Because what have seen in NiGeria police is disturbing.. Some can't speak or defend their act, some of them can't even take statement for real. They just intimidate people to submit. No clear intelligence. Just coward and thug act.
What I suffered in the hand of our so called police officers when I was 13yrs old still hunt me till date.... I plan to go on revenge now am older but thank God for geniue repentance.
Supol, I think u have something upstairs but don't defend your colleagues cos most of them are barbaric and reason below illiteracy. In high institution I met waec holders that cant read a page . Some can't speak the commonest of english language. Certain times I wonder what most of them would call themselves when employed as officers because they don't know anything about the law and justice they are me meant to command.
I pity people o, But I have said it that any police officer intimidating me would be a life and death issue cause I can't let down my God given right to any thug that call himself a police man again. Noted |

9icetoo: SUPOL, come and see your people. they chased down an innocent citizen with an unmarked vehicle (offence number 1). they demand a search of the vehicle and are duly obliged. when nothing incriminating was found, why didn't they just wave the travellers on? they instead went after their phones. was there anything in the car to suggest they are criminals? I don't think so. I don't even think anyone called them to report that the car they were travelling in is linked to any crime. however police will be police. for refusing to surrender his phone (which by the way is his private property and personal effect, all manner of physical abuse was meted out on him. make una kwantinue. one day na one day. lawyer plenty for my FAM. my wife na lawyer. I dey look una with one eye. yeye people. And it may interest you to know that most of d senior officers are learned colleagues 2. And for d upcoming artist, let his continue holding his phone as if his life depends on it. If u have nothing incriminating in ur phone y don't u tender it for search. For those of us frowning at police searching ur bag, I don't have anything to say, wen next u enter God is Good and they stop u on d road for search ask dem for warrant u hear? One thing should know is dat wen u resist to be searched it raises suspicions. Kwantinu |

CrownV12: Your reason better me very reasonable. Not the "he's young, he dresses well and he has a car so he is a fraudster" kind of reason your colleagues use to harrass people. You can search me.. Not my phone unless I willingly tender it for a search or you have a warrant. Hope you know i have the right to search you before you search me or my property and if you have to search me.. You will need witnesses, not the magic your colleagues. I really haven't read much but I have read just enough law books to bag me a LLB. I hope you know the police act you're relying upon if inconsistent with the provisions of the Nigerian contitution shall be null and void to its level of inconsistency. The 1999 law affirms my right to privacy so any provision of your police act to that effect is null and void. Some of your colleagues will be using slap to collect phones or break thier phones if they refuse to open it. The police is in a rot to say the truth. Yet we have many lawyers like u in it. |

9icetoo: when u suspect someone of a crime, you tell him the crime he is suspected of and process the person. that means taking him to your station, making am entry and processing the suspect. you do not empty my bag on the road side, access my fone which could have very private pictures your eyes shouldn't see without a warrant and go thru my laptop like am a convicted criminal. we have efcc to investigate financial crimes and not police. I have been reading your posts, sometimes you sound reasonable, sometimes you sound not too smart and emotional. I know you know your job but unfortunately a lot of you don't and act based on instincts or what you think is right. the British who taught your bosses who in turn taught you this police work will not g through my phone unless a plausible cause has been established in an allegation against me. I would also be duly informed of the need to hand over my phone to aid the investigation. I have the right to say no which will then involve a court giving them a warrant to search my phone. a car was burgled sometime when I was a student and the police came around for investigation. they knocked and I opened to meet them. I asked them in while they were questioning me and they refused to come in. it was against their code of conduct with civilians. they took my statement right in front of my door and let me be. imagine if that was in Nigeria, your goons would have bundled me to the station without charge just because I happen to live near a car that was burgled. you guys really need serious reformation. i talk becos I know d law. Please try n get a copy of d police act n regulations and maybe Criminal Procedure Act |

CrownV12: Thereby breaching his right to privacy, breaching his right to free movement as guaranteed by the constitution since you have detained his private property as lien for falsely imprisoning him. Checking the phones may only be lawful if there is a warrant obtained from the court of law. A phone isnt a gun... It cannot pose a threat to life.. Why dont you try your luck with a judge and see if he will grant you warrant because you saw a young man that dresses well or has a car. When did these become attributes of fraud?. You want to prosecute financial crimes.. The EFCC want to prosecute financial crime, the ICPC wants to prosecute financial crime.. Why dont you "protect" life and property rather than assault and invade?.. In my opinion checking of personal effects without a warrant is ultra vires. My dear if I see u on d road n have a good reason to suspect u of any crime, I will stop u n cause u to be searches thoroughly. How many Law books have u read? |

sybarite7: CRU NEWS BULLETIN 01/2016 INSPECTOR-GENERAL OF POLICE PROHIBITS OFFICERS FROM ILLEGAL ACCESSING OF PERSONAL MOBILE PHONES. The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Solomon Arase, fdc, NPM has warned Police officers who are in the habit of indiscriminate checking of personal information on mobile phones of members of the public to stop such practices with immediate effect. In a Police Circular titled: “ REPORTS OF ALLEGED INDISCRIMINATE ACCESSING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION ON MOBILE PHONES BY POLICE PATROL TEAMS” dated 31st December, 2015, signed by the Force Secretary, AIG Patrick D. Dukumor, mni, and dispatched to all Police State Commands and Formations nationwide on Monday 4th January, 2016, the IGP directed that severe disciplinary actions would also be taken against any officer (s) and their Supervisors (DPOs, Area Commanders and Sectional Heads) against whom a proven report of illegal mobile phone checks not supported by appropriate court orders or operational exigency is made. All State Commissioners of Police and Formation Commanders were further directed to make the full content of the said Circular known to all officers attached to their respective Commands. The Circular also reminded officers to ensure protection of the Rights to private and family life as enshrined in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 as Amended Did u see d word "Indiscriminate"? I know d IG cannot prohibit checking of phones because it is lawful. It is lawful for a police officer to stop and search anyone he/she suspects. I will check ur phones if I suspect u to be a fraudstar, especially when u appear like one |
