I only smiled when i read posts of people on the other thread hailing Buhari for going with d leanest entourage to the UN in d history of Nigeria at least sine 1999. That in itself is commendable considering d needs to conserve funds but I would have expected deeper thoughts n concerns to hold sway.

Beyond foaming at d mouth because of the number of people, what is the calibre of his entourage? What is their contribution to the issues that currently bedevil Nigeria? All he has were governors, former governors and hos personal staff. Where are the expected professionals and technocrats with d required training to formulate n drive policies?

I don't want to mention the long awaited ministers cos we have been put on notice as to the fullness of time and their status as political noisemakers. So where we're those steeped in tradition n continuity of civil service? Will Nigeria therefore run on his interpretation/understanding of burning issues which is expectedly limited to 'fighting kwarapshin'?

I rest my case at this point.
you mean the "heavenly made" ministers?.LWKMD

This thread reeks of Nigerian ignorance and infantile mischief. Nigerians are not civilized enough to to be able to understand a dynamic world and are apish enough to allow their prejudices and hatred to destroy themselves and their children's future. What a pathetic thread

Jesus christ, how naive are you guys, do you have any idea what is happening in the world market. What is nigerias largest export? Oil. How much was it back in January and now.

As much as i oppose buhari, i cant blame him for this. Fact is when the 1st projection was made, oil price was stable, right now it sells for abiut 50 dollars a barrell and when iran starts exporting oil, it will fall further to about 40 dollars, some analysy actually predict 20 dollars by 2017.

This will affect ALL oil producing countries.

Now how do you combat this to maintain a good GDP?

Radically pushing agricultural exports, reviving coal exploration and co.

So stop blaming d presidency, he is powerless instead blame OPEC

My only anger is that, what it takes the immediate past administration years, fortunes and intellects to build,is what idiotic bastard of a Buhari is destroying in 4months.Remaining months will be interesting.

As at January 2015 Nigeria was 3rd on the list as the fastest growing economy of the world after China and Qatar, but as at September 2015 India, Qatar, China were placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd with Nigeria nowhere to be found anywhere just 8 months after.
Which way Nigeria?

you don't get it do you?.Ogoni has their interest as a nation.for instance, you guys declared your independence sometime ago.its your interest, and whosoever serves your interest is your ally, and hence whom you(Ogoni) trusts.Same goes to others.Hence, the issue of whom "WE" will trust, shouldn't arise. If worst comes to worst, the last general election, made a profound statdDM

Our real enemies is nothing but that idiot in our heads tellung us that we have enemies..

yes, we have been marginalized, yes our lands have been polluted.

but what good does that bring to look and seek out enemies.

We have been blessed with 13% derivation from our OIL, we have the freewill to demand total federalism within our land..

seek no enemy, seek no revenge, look forward no matter what,
[/s]How petty can u be!.You must be unlearned,by daring to address the looting of our God givent resources, with a paltry fucking 13%,after all the environmental and health degredation we have been passing through.Am Iwuochang,Ibeno, the main oil bearing L.G.A,and i can tell you our worsening experiences, which had driven to the creeks in the past.Go to the us,Texas where ExxonMobil has their headquarter,US government doesn't give or "bless" them with 13%.its Texas that pays US government a certain amount, and utilizes are larger chunk of her oil revenue, for her good.Stop being petty.

embarassedMy people let's take this serious. Who are really our enemies in this country. Igbo, Hausa, or Yorubas. Please your candid opinion. Please tell us your state and your tribe. We have suffered enough from this 3 groups. I am from the Kingdom of Ogoni.

Respect to all.
Whereas i don't subscribe to the "WE"/"OUR" ish, because we are of different ethnicity, tongue and tribe in this geopolitical zone, and hences, our views and inclinations.
Therefore,it would av' been proper you address this topic as it affects Ogoni Nation,to avoid roping-in others, into your objective of creating this thread.
For instance,am Ibibio, and over the decades,we and Igbo people has intermarried, lived and done things in similar patterns/common,and their has never been any record of enmity between us and them, and hence, our view of them might differ from yours.same goes with others.
Therefore,Igbo people are not the problem of Ibibio nation, and our sister nations of Annang,Efik, etc. And they as well, are problem of our zone,as can be attested to in the just concluded National conference and general election.unless you are one of those still living in the past lies handed down to our fathers by yoruba media just like liar mohammed is doing in Apc.
