Politics / Re: Lagos State Insists It Has Oil, Releases Pictures by SupremeXYZ(m): 11:18am On Jul 20, 2016
onexile:
The Lagos state Government has reacted to the claims of Asari Dokubo few weeks ago, that the State is not an Oil producing State.

In a bid to put the matter to rest, the govt has released several pictures of the Oil wells and production facilities for all to see.

The pictures exclusively obtained by our reporter shows the massive Oil depots in Lagos State.

The pics shows that Lagos States Oil is bigger and lager compared to that of the Niger Delta and the entire South-Eastern region combined together.

See the pics below......

Let us pray.

Any one that voted in this government;
As Nigerians suffer, suffering will never ever depart from ur household!.
As poor people are dying courtsey of the evils of this administration, death will never depart from ur household.
As poor people are exchanging their children for bags of rice(this is shameful),shame will never depart ur household. All these we ask in the name of whatever u belief and hold supreme in ur life,Amen!

SHUT UP... when you people talk it's just as if you are the only one who supported the Buhari during the last election. Why neglect other regions? stop trying to justify what is wrong please. Nigeria is not the US. We FIRSTLY Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa before we are NIGERIANS.

@sweetlemon, can you see whom you were defending during the Ibe Kachukwu removal? You are from Akwa Ibom, if you can not speak up for your region just because you are married to different tribe then I wonder what you stand for.
if you belief that sweetlemon is an Akwa ibomite, then you should belief that my mum is a virgin.

i av' said it time without number, our Ijaw brothers has personalized Niger Delta. That's not a problem to me,but like you said, they should be proud enough to own it,and stop pulling wools across the eyes of undeveloped minds in our region. I av' said it before,if our people decides not to kowtow with Biafra,it's simply Akwacross republic.

Eastern Obolo and Ibeno people of Akwa Ibom are what? You should learn how to READ and stop being clownish. That we don't beat our chest doesn't mean we don't knw our status.

Please, that Andoni people (who can't be said to be outrightly ijaws),migrated to our land, doesn't make them the owners.

U aren't Ibeno and you are arguing. I can bet that you are Ibibio. If eastern Obolo and Ibeno says that they are Ijaws, I wonder why you won't give up. Google should help you.

Where do you think Western obolo is? Who do you think the Andonis(Rivers state) are?

Educate yourself with this

There are no Ijaw's in Akwa Ibom and Cross River state. Stop claiming other peoples land to avoid trouble stay in your side. Our states were carefully created to ensure that only our people live in it, Efik, Ibibio, Ananng, Oron, Eket, Obolo. None of us are ijaw. Leave us out of your fights and land grabs...
i have warned those bastards severally, but they wouldn't hear. Ijaw should touch any part of our land, lets see what they are made of.

Ijaws are the riverine people of Southern Nigeria. They live by the waters cos they're mainly fishermen by tradition. Ijaws can be found in Bayelsa, Delta, Edo,Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Rivers, Ondo and even a fraction of them can be found in Benin Republic, Togo, Sierra Leone and Gabon. They're no doubt great travellers and very adventurous in nature.

Ijaws are one of the most detribalised ethnic groups in Nigeria. I remember when I was in Burutu last year, I was treated as one of them. One would not even be able to distinguish an indigene and myself cos I was treated like an indigene and given every privilege that was entitled to an Indigene. Whenever they go fishing, we were given fish and we always have fish pepper soup that day. The Chairman of that LGA always comes to check on us and even shares a drink with us. The youngest lawmaker in the history of Nigeria is an ijaw man by name Julius Pondi representing Burutu Federal Constituency. Ijaws are one of the most accommodating people in Nigeria and also ijaws are very brave. They're not afraid to take on anyone.

Someone on nairaland called ijaws land grabbers, boat dwellers, swamp settlers and drunken fishermen. How are ijaws land grabbers? Have they grabbed your land before? Ugomba should stop saying nonsense and calling my ijaw brothers land grabbers. Ugomba accused the ijaws of having an agenda. Please what agenda Ugomba? Why would ijaw want to grab your wastelands? Does your land have any economic value that ijaws would want to grab?

This OP & his supporters are all God forsaken pple who want this country to continue the way it is ie corruption ravaged, economic malaise, abject poverty with few of them keep enriching themselves, no wonder he could afford to move into shopping mall to get whatever he wants despite his bitterness over current situation. I guess he is afraid of his immediate future by the time the war against corruption catches up with him. Sorry for the woes that will soon befall you & your cohorts.

/s]I read one useless article by Tonyebarcanista, holding same idiotic view as yours, but i didn't want to dignify him with a response, but let me correct this false impression now. Kanu though was granted bail at the first ruling, but the last ruling which got international media castigating Buhari's dictatorial disposition by not obeying court orders, wasn't just a "bail".He was unconditionally freed by court, with an order that DSS,should hand him over to his family. Now,if you say he was "rearrested",my question, was he "ever" release, before you talked about being rearrested?.Because,to all rational minds, the evidence of his release, would have been "handing him over to his family".so,u are logically beclouded!.
