can you explain why the car will have a lot of power?

With the fans running constantly and thermostat removed, the engine won't be burning the fuel properly (cold engine = more petrol). The excess petrol is added in an attempt to warm up the engine quickly and make it run smooth.

The engine has to reach operating temperature (about 90 degrees celsius) fast for proper control of fuel metering by the engine computer. At operating temperature, the right amount of petrol can be commanded and hence lead to lots of power.

This explains why tokunbo cars are usually fast and powerful shortly after arrival in Nigeria. Once they are 'tropicalised', they get sluggish and gulp petrol.

Congratulations on going against all the odds. Most people give up especially when nobody wants to reverse the mods.

Ensure you use genuine coolant (50-50), your radiator cap is good, and your overflow tank is connected and properly filled.

Finally, easy on the throttle as your car would have a lot of power!

Recently one cockerel took it to the extreme standing in my window crowing non stop and I really needed to sleep.

I had to come out look for pestle,aimed at it,I like to think I missed him by a flicker since then the eediot stopped coming.

There are over 12 of them. It's like a continuous nightmare

I never knew Roosters could be extremely noisy. My Neighbour recently started raising some and lately those things have been disturbing like crazy. They start crowing around 3am and I am unable to sleep anymore.

I tried to discuss with him but he didn't see anything wrong with them. Took the matter to the Ministry of Environment in Oyo state but nothing was done.

Moving out is not an option as it's my house.

I don't know what to do. Please help. Those things are tormenting my life...

Okay, please how do I apply 12v to the terminals?

Disconnect the solenoid connector and then using two separate wires, connect one to positive on battery and the other one to negative. Then, carefully touch the two solenoid terminals with the two wires. Ensure the wires remain separate.

Alternatively, you can use a multimeter to check if the solenoid coil is broken by checking for continuity.

It's a 4plug

It's likely a problem with the timing of the engine. Possibilities: timing chain not set correctly, variable cam gear faulty, variable cam solenoid faulty or disconnected.

Start with checking wires to solenoid at the top of engine near the timing chain cover.

If the wiring checks out, test the solenoid by applying 12v to the terminals. If it doesn't click or move, the solenoid is bad and needs to be replaced.
