I'll be surprised if they renew her contract. Now that Geyse has gone, this will be the time for her to cement her place, but this misses aren't helping her case.

Honestly, it feels like some of these federations saw the USSF make no changes and still win the WC in 2019 and thought that they could do it too. But they forgot that the US women have set the standard for equal pay and workplace standards so other players have a model the follow now. They US women weren't the only trailblazers (I'm looking at you Ada Hegerberg) but it helps.

I saw a great exchange between Hegerberg and Yuki Nagasato today. Ada was supporting the French players and continuing to speak out and Yuki responded with "I stepped away from the national team 7 years ago because of lack of respect from them. But I couldn't speak out at the time. But now Time to act, yes and speak louder 🔥."
