Someone keeps saying he developed lagos and I dare to say that lagos is joke when compared to states of other countries of its mate.

Private businesses developed lagos. I've worked in lagos and I know what businesses surfer in that state. My company then couldn't afford to put sign post in their office for fear of extortion as big as they were. Many offices suffer the same fate.

My friend went to lagos to open a shop, he closed down after three months and ran down to abuja due to extortion. What lagos state government is good at doing is ripping businesses apart.

Back to the matter,God bless H.E Mimiko on his stance about the PDP ceding his chairmanship to the South in the spirit of Fair play, equity and Justice.
Anytime I read the Northern Christians condemning Asiwaju for picking Senator Shettima, I'm always puzzled as to their arguments.
The Northern Christian Politican will rather prefer another Northern Muslim take over from Baba Buhari Instead of Asiwaju becoming the President.
That argument is illogical and complete bull****.
Power must shift to the South in 2023,if you don't like Asiwaju,go and pitch your Tent with Peter Obi,Sowore or any of the other 10 Southern presidential candidates.
I believe the issue of Ethnicity in Nigeria far supercede that of Religion.
A Northern Muslim today can become a Christian tomorrow and vice versa,while a Southern Christian or Muslim can also be converted to different religion from that which they were born into.
But on the issue of Ethnicity,nobody can change his ethnic tribe even if we use the excuse of Marriage,thus 2023 is a battle for the supremacy of Ethnicity in Nigeria not Religion.

Buhari (like most northerners) is incompetent, but the problem of Nigeria under him is not just due to incompetence. Buhari is badluck (misfortune) in biological form. Those that were alive when he first came in 1983 should know from 2015 is an exact (if not worse) replica of his first administration.

I still prefer APC to PDP. Though a lot of PDP members are in the APC.
APC (especially Buhari, Osinbanjo, and Tinubu) all seem to have a socio-capitalist ideology which I subscribe to rather than the seemingly full blown capitalist ideology of the PDP especially in the likes of Atiku and Obi.

There are lot of highlights from that policy document. Some of them are:

—The policy document gives student the right to borrow from TetFund to pay school fees and they pay back in installment when employed.

—NSCDC will now be handling VIP security and the police will focus on the usual securing of the populace.

—He will introduce Forest Security Force which will be a section that will man the forest in Nigeria to gather intelligence and act on it.

—Anti-Terrorist Battalions (ABATTS) will be created and they will be drawn from special squad with strategic and tactical abilities to go after terrorism and bandits.

—Merge housing agencies into a single vibrant one and they have three main core functionalities:
-Grant low interest rate mortgage.
-Guarantee qualified mortgages through bank.
-purchase mortgages from private banks.

—We are moving away from budget projection based on dollar value of oil revenue. The fiscal methodology will base the budgeting on projected level of government spending which optimizes growth and jobs without causing unacceptable level of inflation.

—He Introduced commodity boards for farmers which establishes minimum prices for cashew, cocoa, okra, palm, cassava, and etc. which will guarantee them that their proceeds will be fully bought. This will be done in conjunction with the private sector.

—Establish a FG funding for local government to construct storage facilities in major marketplaces of major cities/town to minimize waste and better preserve perishable food items.

—Establish special Enforcement and monitoring unit with mandate to protect the pipelines by deploying technological interventions of stationary aerial monitoring platforms. This will support the goal of increasing oil production to 2.6mmbpd by 2027.

—Create host communities Development Trust which will foster greater assistance from oil company to host communities. He will also mandate IOCs to assign a share of revenues towards knowledge sharing and tech transfers to indigenous companies.

—Decongest the Apapa Port and encourage greater use of other major seaports in the country such as Onne, Warri and Calabar. Our policies will include tax relief, credits, relaxed duties and tariffs and other financial incentives.

Lagosians are happy with Sanwo Olu. I do not think the time is ripe for PDP to win Lagos.

PDP is not a tactical party. They have no single strategy to displace APC from Lagos.

When PDP was in power (pre 2015), the APC used the media and all the bad things happening in the country to displace PDP from power.

This is 2022, Nigeria is worse than 2015 but PDP has not launched any strong attack against the APC. The only person attacking for PDP that I know off is Reno.

Is it the Illegal Oil Pipeline, is the flooding that the president has failed to address, is it the health of Tinubu or the dollar exchange rates, abi is it the price of food items.

PDP does not understand what it means to be an opposition party.

APC and Tinubu are brutal.

PDP did not learn anything from Funsho Williams.

If PDP was in charge of Lagos and MC Oluomo was in PDP, by now APC would have either wooed Oluomo over or terminated him.

In Aregbesola's team while he was governor, I happen to know many of them, who attest to Tinubu's quest for competence over merit. Even Osinbajo attested to it.

One thing you can never deny Tinubu is his ability to assemble a team of technocrats. Oga in land of the blind people, a one eyed man is the king,that is the case of lagos the people you are hailing as genius are now in federal looking like mediocre, they are only brilliant in Lagos because of the media hype they have but the evidence suggests otherwise, lagos is still the 2nd worst city to live in the world after 23years in government
Those in government at the federal has since found that constant electricity is indeed a rocket science which their lagos brilliance can not solve
