He is the chief collation and returning officer of the presidential election .

He prepared a collation centre and invited the whole world,including past presidents as observers to the presidential election.
He thought he had it wrapped up.

He was to be the pontificator of the entire process .here is the process .

Voters accreditation 👖electorate cast their votes 👖votes are counted 👖results uploaded in the BVAS 👖 results immediately sent to the collation centre in Abuja 👖he receives the result on the massive screens in realtime and proceed to compute them; whilst awaiting the state collations officers to come to Abuja with the physical result which must tally with what he has on the irev portal at national collation centre Abuja.👖

A measure of pride and over confidence kept this incompetent professor aloof to the realities on ground ..

Aside the wanton embezzlement of INEC funds meant for the ad-hoc staffs, this man was totally disconnected from the day to day planning of INEC preparation for the general elections.

A mixture of laziness and lukewarmness allowed fifth columnist to infiltrate the entire INEC architecture.

They planted malwares and filmwares on the entire system .

They could remotely decide what happens to the entire ICT network (hardware and software ) of INEC. They played silent and waited in a perfect ambush to strike.
And they did strike ..

They disabled the entire BVAS machine nationwide and made the INEC chairman completely powerless to oversee and control the elections for which he is the returning officer thereby rendering him a fool before the international observers he invited .

Two things here

1) he is a party to this grave breach of national security

2) as a result of his incompetence ,external forces gained access to compromise our national security .

Take or leave 🥵 we are back to 1999, back to 2003 and back to 2007.

An era where results were 🛢️upturned 🛢️ rewritten 🛢️ counterfeited 🛢️forged in oluwole🛢️palm kernel were used for multiple thumbprinting 🛢️etc.

Prof Mahmoud took us there .. we are back to the old school of Nigerian politics ,where our votes are completely useless and nonexistent .

Above all he took us back to 1999 and spent over N300b to get us back there .
Money wasted ,money , raw cash wasted in a time where our revenues cannot even service our annual debt.

INEC and it's chairman got lots of talking to do .

THEY EPITOMISE FAILURE IN THE HIGHEST REALMS
