ModalSoull:
My fantasy idea . here's what I have
The first photo illustrates the colonial avenues which I think should be demolished . The other 3 photos illustrate what I think should be the possible major avenues . In this plan, the slate would be wiped clean. Absolutely everything demolished . Freehold landownership abolished, and all lands would be owned by the government. landowners would be compensated. land should be only sold in large quantities for real estate ,agriculture and commercial usage.
Inside each of those boxes are communities or towns built in grid . So,there are 10 towns or communities in the Akwa ibom city , each having a population of 100,000 to 150,000. Each community has a Hospital,5 high schools and 5 elementary schools , 1 recreational center , 1 Church ,1 Shopping plaza or mall, 2 police stations ,1 university Campus ,1 Library,2 banks, 1 cemetery, 3 parks , . multiply each town by 10 . this means that Akwa ibom city has 20 banks ,100 Highschools , 10 Hospitals , 10 Libraries .

The capital or city center is connected by train to the airport to the seaport area (commercial district sort of city center too ) and the beach area (entertainment and recreational) district .in this plan, Every existing thing as you know them would be totally demolished and rebuilt . This means for example ,there would be no such thing as local government, Ibeno local Government or village, Ibaka seaport , or Ikot Epkene town, etc . Totally brand new system . A radical transformation.
If only we have people like you running a state in this shit of a country where mediocrity is normal.

safarigirl: I just read it. This is what I'm talking about, we need to go out and look for talents instead of chasing has-beens that give us attitude or going to find mixed kids in Europe to pledge allegiance to Nigeria simply because they bear Nigerian names, there are over 30 million youths in Nigeria who could be just as good as if not better than the likes of Messi and CR7, we should train our future stars instead of waiting for Germany or England to train them for us so we can lure them later and they play for us for lack of opportunity in said countries. Kudos to the U-17 boys, there is no doubt in my mind that at least 2 of them will make the World Cup squad #TeamFRESHLEGS #TEAMHomegrowntalents
damn what a comment from a girl....well done sis.....if you remember correctly ronaldo was 17 years old when he was part of the brazilian squad that won the world cup in 1994...he was on the bench...4 years later he was leading brazil to the final....and winning the ballon.....build from home...instead of chasing the ameobi's and sidney sam of the world

Three Golden Eaglets could make Eagles World Cup squad after impressing in training Thursday, 12 December 2013 11:45 48 0 THREE members of Nigeria's victorious Golden Eaglets who recently won the U17 World Cup could make the Super Eagles squad for Brazil 2014 after impressing team handlers at the Championship of African Nations (Chan) training camp. Nigeria is one of eight countries that will participate in the Chan tournament in South Africa that starts on January 11 and Golden Eaglets Dele Alampasu, Kelechi Iheanacho and Taiwo Awoniyi have been invited to camp to compete for shirts. They are part of a 30-man squad that shall be whittled down to 23 for the tournament and so far, they have impressed team coaches with their performances. Super Eagles head coach Stephen Keshi plans to use the Chan tournament to select some players who will join his squad for the World Cup next year and if the trio perform well, they could make it to the plane to Brazil. Iheanacho, who won the Best Player of the Tournament at the U17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates has been particularly impressive. Goalkeeper Dele Alampasu who won the best Goalkeeper of the Tournament at the U17 World Cup has also been highly praised by team handlers. Super Eagles assistant coach Daniel Amokachi who has been handling training this week, has tipped the trio to make the final selection cut. Coach Amokachi said he was left dazzled by the footballing prowess and determination of the players in camp, including the Golden Eaglets trio of Alampasu, Awoniyi and Iheanacho. He commended the competitive spirit in the camp, noting that the older players were giving the new invitees a good run for their money. "All the players including the young Eaglets have been tremendous at training sessions and I personally will not be surprised if they make the final squad for the Chan tournament. However, we will have to wait for our boss to have a look at them and make a final decision,” Amokachi added. Super Eagles goalkeeper trainer Ike Shorunmu, added that the newly-invited goalkeepers in camp have impressed him with their performance so far. Alampasu and Isah Danladi of Sharks FC of Port Harcourt are new invitees and their form has been very impressive according to the coach. Shorunmu added:"They have been wonderful along with Dan Akpeyi and Chigozie Agbim and they can even challenge for World Cup places. However, it might be too early in the day, so let’s keep our fingers crossed for now." Many Nigerian football commentators believe Iheanacho could be the shock inclusion in Super Eagles squad for the 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil. Although many Golden Eaglets coach Emmanuel Amuneke has said that he wards are not yet ready for senior football, Keshi is yet to rule them out. Keshi said: “Everything depends on them. If they can prove themselves and show that they can cut it at this level, then we will take it up from there.” Chan is a tournament for players who exclusively ply their trade domestically and Keshi said his sights will be on talent who can force their way into the squad that will represent Nigeria in Brazil next year. He added that the competition will provide an opportunity for the home-based players to exhibit themselves before the World Cup. - See more at: http://www.nigerianwatch.com/news/3364-three-golden-eaglets-could-make-eagles-world-cup-squad-after-impressing-in-training#sthash.DUzKyciG.dpuf

Argentina coach Alejandro Sabella has admitted he knows nothing about the Super Eagles after the FIFA World Cup draw puts his team in Group F alongside Nigeria, Iran and Boznia-Herzegovina.

It is the fourth time the African champions would be grouped together with the South Americans at this level and each time the Albiceleste have advanced to the knock-out stage.

Paul Walker Dead at 40: Fast and the Furious Actor Dies In Car Accident:

Paul Walker has died at the age of 40. The actor -- best known for his work in the Fast and the Furious franchise -- died suddenly after a single-car accident and explosion in Southern California, TMZ reports. The movie star died Saturday afternoon.

According to the site, Walker reportedly was in a Porsche when the unidentified driver lost control and slammed the vehicle into a tree. The car burst into flames at the scene. Another person was also killed at the time.

A native of Glendale, Calif., Walker first broke out in Hollywood in the late 90s films Pleasantville and Varsity Blues. He then went on to appear in She's All That, The Skulls, and first joined the Fast and the Furious franchise in 2001. The actor reprised his role as Brian O'Conner in Fast & Furious 6 in 2013. Fast & Furious 7 was announced for a 2014 debut.

While promoting his latest film Hours earlier this month, Walker revealed that his 15-year-old daughter, Meadow, recently moved to live with him last year after living with her mother in Hawaii. Walker welcomed Meadow with then-girlfriend Rebecca in November 1998.
