tamdun: For a country that has a staggering 630 billion trees accounting for 25% of worlds forest, Russia has enough woods to last the EU many hundred of years to come So if they refuse Russian oil, they can buy Russian gas, refuse Russia gas then Russian coal is an option, if coal is not sufficient let them opt for Russian wood. All in all they can't do without Russia and that's the harsh reality 12 Likes 2 Shares |

railone: You're a mumu, what do you enforce a Naval blockade with abi is it mouth you use to blockade You think Russian navy is infinitesimal then you're obviously ignorant It will take the whole US navy+Nato with their aircraft carriers to enforce a naval blockade anywhere near st Petersburg. Kaliningrad house many long range missiles, Hypersonic cruise missiles and ballistic missiles alone to make any attempt at blockade futile not to mention Russian navy headquarters at St Petersburg. Also, like I said earlier Tallinn and Helsinki is withing range of Hypersonic missile systems in St Petersburg and they will have little or no reaction time You need to familiarize yourself with the baltic sea area before coming here to type trash. A simple Google search will do d trick, and if you are on data budget then use operamini free browser. Don't allow pride to make you ignorant, operamini can help with your education Dunce 1 Like |

railone: You're even worse than I thought How can Finland and Sweden joining Nato translate to blockading Kaliningrad. Even armchair generals and wannabee military analyst have never had this kind of drug induced imagination Where are you from mahn? Your thought process is marveling This fool even said any military naval vessel departing st Petersburg is a target....you know nothing at all So Russian naval assets will be sitting duck, docked at St Petersburg waiting to be blockaded Even all there patrol vessels will go to st Petersburg to wait for your drug imposed blockade Am wasting my time with you Go look up Russian Navy Orbat and see where there vessels are currently patrolling, at least those known 1 Like |

railone: The scenario you're trying to paint as easy is impossible You're dumb, and it's very obvious from the simple scenario you're trying to paint No matter what NATO can pull it won't blockade Russian in the baltic. You say Sweden operate the quietest sub but is it quite enough to put Helsinki at risk? This is why I say you're dumb. Russian Belgorov sub is deployed in this waters and guess what? The Belgorov is the launch platform for the world deadliest tornado 'the poseidon' But why try to paint a hypothetical situation that's not even possible. There's international waters in the baltic sea and blockading Russia will mean violating international treaties. Unless you do not know the implications of blockading international water that must have been the reason why you're painting a dumbass, future impossible scenario You still have a lot of learning to do son 3 Likes |
Foreign Affairs / Re: Russia’s Baltic Fleet Reportedly Launches Live-fire Exercises In Kaliningrad Reg by Svlla: 4:10pm On Jun 21, 2022 |
railone: Also, I will like to add that in case of a military confrontation then two nations capital, Finland Helsinki and Estonia Tallinn which are both situated at the gulf of Finland will come under direct fire. So it's very unwise to blockade Russia in the Baltic sea Also, there's a narrow strip of international waters in the Baltic gulf of Finland leading directly from St Petersburg. This means that Russia does need to venture into Sweden or Estonian territorial waters 1 Like

Foreign Affairs / Re: Russia’s Baltic Fleet Reportedly Launches Live-fire Exercises In Kaliningrad Reg by Svlla: 4:03pm On Jun 21, 2022 |
railone: Also, going by your line of thought then it's still going to be a difficult task to blockade Russia in the Gulf of Finland First, Russian Navy is headquartered at St Petersburg which is a baltic sea port city Secondly Russian Baltic fleet is headquartered at Kaliningrad. Russian Baltic fleet alone has been a cause for security concern to Baltic and western nations. It is almost as large as the Russian Pacific fleet if not larger than the Black sea fleet. So in that scenario it will be extremely difficult or near impossible to naval blockade Russia in the Baltic sea 2 Likes |

railone: It's not possible even with Sweden and Finland joining Nato Really, look at map again, get a bigger one Russia has access to the baltic sea Ust Luga, St Petersburg and Kaliningrad Even the gulf of Finland can't be blockaded.....it's not a strait like Hellespont (Dardanelles) or Bosphorus or a closed waterway In event of a military confrontation, all the baltic and Nordic states combined with Poland doesn't have the Naval assets or weaponry to blockade the baltic rather they fear a possible Russian blockade and the seizure of Swedens Gotland which can be used for an effective blockade of the baltic sea, cutting of the 3 baltics nations. Just like taking the snake island was used to blockade Ukraine 2 Likes |
