Omo iya!...The high court in Akure can certify your documents but seal no go dey am...and from what I yaf seen seal is needed if u r sending to uniassist and some particular schools. not all tho. Once you certify at the high court, look for a notary public like a lawyer to help you apply the seal...10k was collected in my own case after much begging for three sets of document. but you can take the free shortcut of the German embassy in lag...my 2cowries

You won't have to be "here again", if you took some time out to read the thread again. Use the search tool and type in "certification", "certify" or "notarization" and read all you can on it.
There are rules certification must follow and I don't know if you state high court's procedures are in line with those rules, so its hard to say. For your documents, certify what your school asked you to, even if its your great grandfather's birth certificate.

I have certified all my documents(stamped). but my department(mathematics) said I should develop an appliaction letter myself. please any insight on how to develop that. secondly, is there any scholarship available around... thanks in adavance

What exactly is your point here? That people shouldn’t pursue their dreams of studying abroad, even if it means borrowing the funds? You’ve been very informative with your post, thank you. But you’ve only succeeded in playing on people’s fears and you may have discouraged quite a few peeps in the process. You may never know. You criticised those you say come on here and paint glory pictures of Germany, while you have done exactly the same thing by painting sorry pictures of Germany. How about those that borrowed money to fund their blocked accounts, got to Germany, paid back their debts, go to school, work the regular menial jobs you say are available, make good grades and come back home with a very good certificate? It’s either those people are not in Germany or you’ve just been so unlucky not to have met them.

Yes, you can use student copy but you will need to certify the photocopy before sending the photocopy to the school.

Go to the academic office for Senate...they will direct you on how to go about it. it shouldn't take up to 3days to get it. Am looking at university of Gottigen (masters in mathematics ), university of ulm(master in finance ), university of warzburg(international mathematics), university of regensburg(international mathematics), university of kaiserslautern, karlsruhe institute of technology among others....am just tryna apply to as many schools as possible.... I have all my documents ready tho. I wan start to dey bomb the schools...get yours done asap make we fit dey run the whole issh together

Thanks a lot my oga.... Am actually new to the whole process. Thanks again for taking your time to answer me. I think I better use the student copy I have(transcript). I already have my letter of English proficiency from my school (futa) too. Please I would like to know my chances of admission into the masters of finance program.. I graduated with a 4.32/5.0 in industrial mathematics and am applying to the ulm university...... Thanks a lot sir

I always tell people: Focus on the Positive, forget about the negative.

You graduated with a 2.1! Congrats. That means technically, you can apply for any Graduate Trainee Job in any firm in Nigeria. You see threads where people are complaining, so also there are threads where people are getting offers.

On a general note, Olam took 20 or more graduates, PwC took about 120 Graduates, KPMG 150 or so, Sterling: about 100, GTB took up to 400 Entry Level Graduates this year alone, Dangote is planning to take more and these are the figures I am aware of.. Who is getting these Jobs? Foreigners or your fellow graduates?

So, don't be scared. Prepare yourself positively for the Job Market, never let any negative story or thread weigh your down, and abeg forget about Oil Companies (They will always recruit one time in your lifetime with the age limit being flexible) and applying to only "course related" firms.

Finally, Lagos is better than PH for any fresh graduate.
