Hello everyone, please I will like someone to enlighten me on COMMON LAW PARTNER.
I am already processing my MSc in Canada west and I also want to bring along my common law partner and 2kids
I have been separated from my wife for over 8years and being with my common law partner for the past 3years. My divorce case is in process but not sure it will be over before I leave for my studies.
Can I still apply for my common law partner and 2kids to join me? Even with the divorce case in process?

Please I really need help on this. Thank you

First of all, what stage is the divorce proceedings my advice to you would be to wait so you can state in your application that you are divorced with proof. Secondly are there children of the marriage, if there are just know that you cannot apply for visa let alone travel with them without the written consent of their mother.

Hello Gurus,

Please what’s your take on this gift deed write up

1. In consideration of natural love and affection being the sister of the Donor, the Dr assigns to the Donee a refund of 2,500,000NGN and a gift of 2,000,000NGN which is 4,500,000NGN equivalent to xxxxCAD to be held by the Donee absolutely.

2. The possession of the 4,500,000NGN herein donated into the Donee has been transferred to the
Donee account as absolute owner before execution of this gift deed.
******************
Above write up was the real context of what happened, had loaned my sister some money since last year soke where transfer and cash. So the total money had loaned her was 2,500,000 and she gifted me 2,000,000 so the total was 4,500,000 now when she wanted to send the money she put refund in the remarks/comment. This is why she thought we should do the deed of gift this way so that VO will know I also had some money with her that she refunded including the one she gifted me. Please any gurus in the house, this is really pending my application from submission I need to be very careful with how I package my Gift deed I need a sincere advice and guidance on this please.

Should we write the gift deed this way or we should just do a gift deed of 4.5million claiming she gave me everything it respective if my money is included or not.

Thanks.
It's only a lawyer that should do a deed for you.
You can send me a mail.

Good morning, I am a recent graduate, i own a small scale data website, I started December and my monthly income since is 300-500k. How best can I explain this in my application.

My business isn't registered though because it's small scale.

Good afternoon everyone, please I finished my master's degree in 2015 and I want to apply for a post graduate diploma course in Canada, since then I have just be doing volunteer works and personal businesses mostly, it's me and my parent that wants to fund the program, hope my application won't be affected?... Please I need experts advise here before I proceed paying application fee so it won't waste.
Make sure you register the company in CAC that will show that your business is registered.

Thanks Bullstriker, we both presented a personal account don't have a business account. However,me as the sponsor l only claim am self-employed but l am self employed at the same time employed l work in one of the commercial banks, is it still possible to include this in the next application to enable me add offer letter, pay slip, pension and others...Again documentation for source of funds is another issue. Most of the funds was like a payment for service rendered to someone and mode of payment is always transfer.Fund still available but some was converted to USD last month into primary Applicant's DOM acct because at a time we were thinking of doing GIC after the refusal...am just confusedddd

Is the company registered in corporate affairs commission?

Goodday Gurus In the house. I have an important question.

Can I receive a gift deed of 10million naira from a person who isn’t stated as my sponsor, if so, how do I go about it and what documents do I need to submit in regards to show the legitimacy of the gift.

No, you cannot recieve a gift deed of 10 million naira from a person who is not stated as your sponsor. A gift deed is a legally binding document that must be signed by both the giver and the reciever. Since the person is not stated as your sponsor, they cannot legally sign the deed gift. If the deed gift is not properly documented and notarized, it will not be considered legally valid. Therefore you cannot recieve a gift deed of 10 million naira from a person who is not stated as your sponsor.

Sorry to ask. Is church marriage certificate acceptable?[/quote]
Which church did you get married? Does the certificate have the coat of arms ontop of it?
If not go to a marriage registry and apply for a marriage certificate.

Please gurus in the house I need your help !!!!!!!!!
I graduated with a 2.2 and I studied law. I applied to USASK but didn't get admitted.
I want to apply to a college but the issue I have is that the only courses related to law is human resources management and paralegal.
I want to know if it will be a problem when I want to apply for a visa in regards to why I want to study human resource management in Canada when it is plenty in Nigeria.
Secondly, can anyone recommend a college in ontario that their acceptance fee is not so high or suggest any other course I can do that is related to law. I have experience in corporate law.
Thank you.
