Bonjour madam. Cela me fait grand plaisir que je comprends tout ce que vous avez dit. J'apprends toujour le francais aussi mais je manque une partenaire de langue a qui je peux parler. Est-ce que on peut se causer parfois si cela ne vous derangera pas. Merci beaucoup.

Pourquoi tu voulais savoir ?

It is actually sad that you have to reduce your score to qualify for PNP seeing that your score is super high. The PNP itself isn't even guaranteed when you are in the range. As far as my knowledge goes, it's 50/50.

The fact that Canada aren't giving any updates on FSW resumption is devastating. Even if it is December, let people know so they can make plans ahead or go with their other options.
It’s super sad honestly, especially considering all the work put it to get here. Waiting isn’t a problem if only people had specific timelines to wait for instead of all the uncertainty .

But what if you do so and there is a FSW draw? If I was you, if have just waited patiently... but of course you decide.

I’ve decided to wait at least till September when the next OINP draw will hold because possibly FSW will restart by then. If it doesn’t then I’ll reduce score

503 is almost sure when FSW draws resume..... but in the spirit of having a plan B, what is your CRS with French as your first language?

If you have IELTS money to spare and $1,500 for OINP, then consider retaking IELTS to get a lower CLB in order to be between 458 and 467 (go to the CRS grid on page 1 to reconfirm and work out the maths, if putting French as your first language doesn't get you within the range). OINP are likely to have a French Speakers draw in September, they had in Jan, Mar, May & July.

Also have you checked if your NOCs are in demand in Sasks, they announced extra points for French. PEI and NB also seem to give extra points for French.
I’ll try the IeLTs route or I’ll remove my hubby’s masters and English test results from the application to see if it will get me with Range. Thank you for the suggestion

Why don't you guys apply directly for PNPs? A friend of mine with CRS 537 got Manitoba advice to apply, that was in June or so. There is no guarantee FSW will resume anytime soon, plus even if it does you will still get ITA. Plus Expression of interest in PNPs is absolutely free.

I would like to apply directly but I haven’t found any PNP stream that is accepting applications with my occupations

Sis, please be patient, FSW will resume soon. My crs is 503 with TEF too, so I can imagine your thoughts. Unfortunately, our score is too high for PNP. You've worked really hard to get to where you are now. Just drink a cup of patience every morning. On va y arriver.
Merci ma chère. Vous avez raison, mais c’est difficile quand même. I’ll drink the cup of patience and just wait. It’s always darkest before the storm. Let’s count down to the opening of borders in September. Hopefully FSW will resume then

504 is a very good score, I would advise you just wait. PNPs are taking lower scores than yours at this time unless you want to apply for Saskatchewan or Prince Edward Island PNP.

If you go through the study route, it will take a longer time to get PNP, because you have to first go to school and after that still need to fulfil requirements for CEC. Don't forget the study route is also expensive.

With your score, you will definitely get ITA when FSW resumes, remember this Japa something requires a lot of patience.
Thank you for your response, you are actually right. I’ll check out those routes and I’ll exercise a little patience. Let’s keep the faith up

Hello house, please advice me, I’m currently in the pool with CRS score of 504, awaiting FSW, I have TEF but I don’t seem to be eligible for any PNP stream at the moment, if any I have overlooked kindly let me know. My main question though is do you think it’s a good idea for me to switch plans now and go for the study route considering how long this FSW is taking to resume. As deadline of school application will be this September. I’m co fused about whether to keep waiting.

I am thinking they have cancelled it for political reasons..
It has not been canceled, the 2021 budget is proposing they streamline it and get more focus on NOC’s. They’ve asked ppl to update POF and wait. The fact they aren’t giving updates is very annoying but there’s no reason to believe it has been canaceled

You can say that again honestly. Our application was received Jan 2020 and then an address followed in aug. Its been a long wait. Everyone I know who has submitted an application is frustrated. Even those waiting for ITA. You can't touch your money, you can't do a whole lot of things because you never know when they'll start processing for outland again. Its as if your life is on hold. Ko easy at all waiting for this ppr.
January 2020? Wow! That’s a long time……… you described it in a nutshell, it’s honestly like being in limbo, especially because of the inability to touch ur money or make long term commitments. Oh well no one could have predicted COVID, all we can do is take our minds off it and try to live in the moment. Hopefully they are using this time during which they’ve suspended FSW to catch up on backlog and fingers crossed that things go back to normal soon. 21st of July I’m hoping lol.

if application has been approved no one will ask for updated pof. On landing pof may be asked, only few people are asked. It must not be the same money submitted, you know the rest
Okay thanks a lot

Basic courtesy when asking a question, instead of jumping to conclusions really isn’t too much to ask. I was asking for a friend who is post ITA. Thanks for your concern.

Please don’t touch it. You could be asked for an updated pof proof mid-application and wen u print ur statement and they notice it’s been tampered with, it could lead to rejection.
On Ircc website it says “you should have this money when you apply and when you land in Canada”
Your application isn’t done. So you shudnt touch it.
Thanks so much for the response. ❤️

Hello house,
Please I will like to make enquiries on POF. If one doesn't have money in his account and enters the express entry pool like that. Then you get selected by a province. Can I quickly seek for funds to update my account and then submit my bank statement or will this pose a red flag? Please suggest what I can do as one who doesn't have any POF before entering the pool. Thanks
You don’t need to show proof of funds before entering the pool. Once you get ITA though you will need to have it available to submit alongside your application

Hi guys, when is the likely next draw for skilled permanent residency and what do you project the minimum scores could be? Heard the last draw was in December.
If you mean FSW no one knows except IRCC, however based on the announcement by Trudeau that the borders will open to Americans in mid August and to everyone else in September. It could happen anytime between next week and September. What is clear is that things are getting back to normal.

Hello house, please I have a question. I am the primary applicant on our EE Profile, waiting for FSW Draws, I would like to know, should I leave the section on spouse's work history blank or fill it in? seeing as we aren't claiming points for it and my husband is a self employed contractor, getting pay slips, tax details and work documents for him will be very stressful. If I fill in his information in work history on the EE profile. Will I be asked for documentation concerning his work history post- ITA? if I leave it blank in the profile now will it stop us from getting ITA ? Thanks in advance for your help..

Absolute truth @ bolded
@Denerystormborn Unless you have submitted and received AOR, you need to update POF.
Obviously I’m only guessing and making possible/ logical conclusions. I don’t work at IRCC, don’t bite me please. You are probably right and they are updating proof of funds for a program they don’t intend to ever recommence

they update pof every year, has nothing to do with draws
Yes they do that every year at the start of the year (Jan) however they didn’t do so this year January cos they had no intention of doing FSW draws cos of Covid. They just updated it this month clearly because they intend to recommence.

Hello house, I’m currently refilling my express entry form. My current score with French is now at 503. I’m having doubts tho about what to put in my career. I work as a journalist but based on my research I don’t see a lot of demand for journalists as per job offer and I’m now wondering is I should choose another NOC like advertising & marketing because as a radio presenter I also do that and I can get my work to fill that in as my primary designation. Also I’m into agriculture, started a pig farm to years ago. Should I fill that as my occupation ? What do you think ?
